Making Little Golden Book Junk Journal Signatures With Story Intact

This is Becky Roesler with a tutorial on making Little Golden Book signatures with the story intact. I give you specific sizes of pages and examples of the number of extra pages I add to each signaturae. I show two ways to alter the pages for a Little Golden Book with the original spine still attached and one without the original spine still attached. I also show you how I add color to the white backs of patterned paper before I sew the signatures in.

OMG! You are a great teacher/explainer! Thank you for showing how impactful the simplest things are. I’ve not watched anyone before explain the different things they did on the white sides of the patterned cardstock like you do. The different things like pockets etc how to hide it etc. yes but not the simplest of things to make these once boring pages into an excellent starting base (or final base). I have done 2 little golden books. I kept checking, checking, and rechecking to make sure my pages were in proper order to keep the story intact. I was so worried that the story would be out of order.

Yes, I was doing the same thing but finally found a way to stop myself from compulsively checking with that sticky note and colored paperclip. I leave that on until after I've sewn in the signatures now.
