1. Milwaukee is paradise from May through October.
2. Milwaukee is a coastal city, a river city and a pro sports city. That's a great combination.
It’s definitely not a coastal city..
Milwaukee is paradise 😂. Summerfest, state fair, county fair repeat lol😂
Seeing Milwaukee through someone else’s eyes is absolutely amazing! Milwaukee is a wonderful place. . .
yeah jus stay downtown cause it get scary my boy
My Best Friend from out of town came to visit me in January of this year (why she would want to come the dead of winter is beyond me lol) and it was so nice to see this city through her eyes...just awesome!!
Downtown is getting bad 🤣
@@jae3003 Especially Water Street.
Some areas
We Love Milwaukee Wisconsin from Iran 🇮🇷❤️🇺🇸
Small correction: The Packers name is referring to meat packing not cheese packing. Common misconception
I was gonna correct that to meat packing not cheese packing, but you beat me to it
Acme meat packing company
And to be honest he didn't walk past the Bucks Area. But I respect his attempt to highlight the good things Milwaukee has to offer. Nice video
@@princebilal3543 nothing is wrong with that area. I'm pretty sure it's alot safer than to walk around Brady Street
Ditto when I heard that.
You missed the third ward, public market, milwaukee st, the beaches, and fiserv forum
Came here to say the same thing!
Really looks like a fun city to visit. You Milwaukeeans have a lot to be proud of. Thanks Jeff for another great video.
I just wanted to thank you for all the travel videos that you have made! These videos help a lot with the planning portion my travels.
I was born and raised on the South side of Milwaukee (we call it little Mexico) then moved to Atlanta, but now I live in Miami. Living in Miami has had made me appericiate my hometown and everything about it, even the cold! Me and partner are moving back when our lease is up in 6 months. This video made me even more excited about going home 😊
Hello Corinne, how would you qualify the life in Atlanta in comparison with milwaukee?
@@josefiol9520 How would I qualify it? Hm. Well if I had to choose, I would definitely go back to Atlanta. To me, it offers a better long term lifestyle because of the accessibility to other preferred states, climate, and job opportunities.
@@corinnemarie333 thanks for your answer I appreciate it!
Fellow south sider here but now living in NH. Having lived all over the country in part for school, then the Navy, and civilian work, I can say Milwaukee is definitely underrated. It's definitely changed since I lasted lived there 13 years ago but it's mostly for the better and it will always be home. I've done the warm weather state thing due to work but am not able to stand year round heat which is why I jumped at a great job opportunity in New Hampshire which has similar weather to Wisconsin just with mountains.
@@josefiol9520 Atlanta is good city I moved here from Minneapolis been here 2 yrs now and I love it it offers a lot!
This is a beautiful video about my hometown. I just moved back here after living in Atlanta for the last 30 years. I am especially impressed by 3rd Ward. An area south of downtown along the Milwaukee river. I think it is more exciting than the Brady Street area. Also the crime in Milwaukee is not as bad as Chicago, St Louis, Detroit and other Midwest cities. The major draw back is, as you mentioned, the winter months, which can run from October through April/May. I am really impressed with the strides Milwaukee has made in the last 30 years.
Crime per capita, Milwaukee eclipsed Chicago in crime.
Why did you decide to move back after thirty years?
@@BillyT886
Im from Milwaukee, live NyC now. The crime i NYC is BAD!
@@BillyT886 It's been worse than chicago.. I mean the milwaukee homicide rate 2022 was top 5 in the country. I would hear gunshots once a week easily in the summers in milwaukee. The kia boys ruined a lot of the city
My husband's home town! Now we live about 90 minutes south of there. Lots of fun stuff! Art museum there on Lake Michigan, tour breweries, Summerfest music festival (though that is having some changes due to COVID.)
We've had spectacular weather in spring of 2021. Thank you for the video.
Love Milwaukee.. beautiful city.. did my degree at UWM- Milwaukee and was there when i was 18 till 22 … many great memories there during my college years ..greetings from Malaysia 🇲🇾…
Hello From Milwaukee!!
@@donaldewert2332 hello 👋 how r u
@@shadowboxer2747 I am wonderful!!
Great video about a great city. Thanks!
Going to Milwaukee for the first time in a decade this September, thank you for all the tips ❤️
De acuerdo, amo Milwaukee, Gracias por compartir
Made me cringe hearing him mispronounce "Menomonee River".
Well, at least he didn't have to try to tackle Oconomowoc!
Same lol
Same here... pronounced "men-ah-ma-nee or men-ah-mo-nee"
Stress on the second syllable. Don't try to say it like Cookie Monster is telling you he's broke.
Lol I had to pause to think about what river he was talking about lol but to be honest it sounds more Native since it is a Native River, the way he pronounced it
Wow! The city looks so clean!
Downtown area
what a fantastic looking city hun; thanks for the tour, 🤗💕💕💕❤️
Im moving there this Friday 🥹🤍 I’m so excited
I was in Milwaukee just a fewer days ago for my birthday. I had sooo much fun …
I was expecting traffic but wow it seems like a very chill and mellow city for it’s nice
Me encanta el video, gracias 🙂
I’m going to Milwaukee this May so I’m watching this
River boat tours are fun too! Usually all you can drink. Ride the boat out into the bay usually lasts 1-2 hours
Milwaukee has great food, lakes, parks, recreation, night life, sports and a lot of summer festivals at the lake front and many summer festivals at churches besides a awesome variety of nationalities. If you like city life this is a nice place to be, but the winters are terrible. I grew up in there but not in the downtown area in Cudahy then I moved in 2005 because I was ready for a change of pace to the slower lifestyle and the mountains.
Good video presentation ... Milwaukee is really a good looking city, too. Great about the good weather bit in the summer ... which I'm sure is more mild than where I live, here in Dallas🥵🤠LOL
Hello everyone!!! From Mexico City... I leaving to Wisconsin today (October 1st, 2021) and I will stay there 25 days ... Visiting so many places and meeting people with my American friend... loved it thanks sir
Nice!
Great tour! Thank you.
The video highlights Mo's Irish Pub in the beginning but the true Irish Pub that has been in Milwaukee for over 20 years and wins all of the awards is County Clare Irish Pub on the corner of Astor and Knapp St on the East Side. It is also a boutique hotel so you can stay there too while in town to visit! Great food and staff.
dont forget paddy's
My God the city is breathtaking
It’s not that cool, I go there everyday... I work there
He didn’t show you the north side

Your breath is easily taken.
Looks like it was a nice day. I wish you captured this later into a Milwaukee summer though! Guess you’ll just have to come back :) !!
Favorite line “it gets that cold” 😂😂
A lot of this stuff I see everyday walking about!
left milwaukee 30yrs ago. I am impressed how the city has grown. I think you used a magical filter on your camera to make it look even prettier .
Oh no that’s just our city! It gets prettier with age!
Thanks for sharing!
Construction got started this May5,2021 on a 44 story apt/office bldg by lakefront.
Super cool. One day I'll visit. but for now catch me walking around NYC
I am amazed the Milwaukee Art Museum is seen at least twice but never mentioned. The Mitchell Dome's are excellent. The Third Ward is awesome. Lakefront, Sprecher's, etc? Summerfest?
Same!
Awesome video, thank you for sharing, greetings from Orlando Florida
Greetings back to ya from Milwaukee!!
I only went for one day to see a brewers game and i have to say it was one of the best ballparks i have seen.
I'm going to Milwaukee for the first time in a week so thanks :)
How is it?
Milwaukee is such a great place to live and a wonderfully sized city. I love it here
wow milwaukee looks like my city in germany ,
😁🥳
Brady S.t. is a great to sight see and hang out. My aunt lived in that area from 1987-2016.
A medium size city with relatively low cost of living and 1.5 hours way from Chicago is crazy accessible
Never really knew how nice of a city milwaukee is.would like to visit there one day tbh
Wow beautiful❤
👍🇺🇸 - I was just watching this MILWAUKEE U-tuber "Glitteratie Vibe" when I bumped into your Channel. (I am in Toronto,Canada)🇨🇦☻🇰🇪.
Good Travel Guide.🇺🇸👍👌
This is just a small part of downtown Milwaukee. I've lived in Milwaukee for 43 years there is so much more to be seen...both good and bad.
Very recently discovered your channel, must say u have a nice style of presentation, nice music , not too , loud. Some people shout and talk alot. U have a nice way to give information. Thanks .
Your video makes me want to visit this city

Hello from Milwaukee, have a happy day!!
Always a great start to a video, outside an Irish bar 🍺🍺🍻 slainte mo chara
Looks nice there
beer, brats, kraut, and cheese curds. im sold
Nice city. I like the art museum, right on the lake. Milwaukee is a nice size, not huge like Chicago, but still on Lake Michigan.
Great Video!
Jesus loves you all and he is always with you. God bless and have a wonderful day 👍
I actually did a lot of work at the saint Kate building when it was changing ownership. That's the first time I've seen the inside since it was renovated.
How long ago was that
Great job on the video quality and entertainment value. A few minor things:
Packers = meat packing.
“Miller Park” not Miller Field.
Miller Beer is brewed over on State Street.
Not even that any more it’s America
It will always be Miller Park to me (& I think many others) but sadly it's now American Family Field. Just doesn't have the same "feel" to our home stadium. What was the old stadium called again, was it just "County Stadium"? Hard to remember, it's been so long.
American Family Field now… idk who tf came up with that but it will always be Miller Park to me
@@felisha1986 The american family insurance company did...
@@MikeAnuta duh ijs 🙄 🙄
Was just there yesterday haha. I’m moving around the area later on this year or so. I currently live an 1 1/2 away :)) love it
I’ll be there Halloween weekend…Whats your Instagram?
For the younger folks there's a lot of urban art galleries downtown in a third ward and also in Walkers Point which is blocks just from south of downtown in the lgbtq community area a lot of historical buildings a lot of really cool stuff so ask all different kind of diverse local so then you get a little taste of everything's in Milwaukee
Que linda ciudad🥰
nice historical buildings and nice atmosphere
MKE is baller af. Love it.
Milwaukee is a pretty safe city. Like any city it has some more dangerous areas. If you aren't familiar with the area and are worried just stick to downtown and the lake front areas (i.e. areas east of interstate 43). Not the only safe area but as a tourist easy way to conceptualize it
Also, like any place, just be aware of your surroundings, avoid making yourself a target flashing money or expensive phones etc, and trust your gut
Milwaukee is not a safe city. It depends where you are but there are a lot of crimes that don't make the news.
Most serious crimes in the city happen in certain neighborhoods within the city. If you stay out of those neighborhoods and are aware of your surroundings you'll be fine
And by serious crimes i mean violent crimes
@@kalicat9492 its safe, as long as you arent stupid. If you dont make a target out of yourself, you wont have issues.
Moving there soon ☺️
Thanks for the tour. Milwaukee is a hidden gem. What camera did you use? This looks 🔥🔥🔥
milwaukee so nice come to green tree! everyone welcome
Miller Brewery is between State Street and Highland not on the end of Wisconsin Avenue at the Coast restaurant
My college was on full display! MSOE Grad here! The campus location was the best!
I'm there now!
Brown river. Yummy.
Don't beat up on the guy, lol. For future reference Island Hopper, it is MAH-NAH-MOE-NEE, lol, otherwise, appreciate the shout out! Too bad you missed the HOP. You gotta come here when it takes off in late June! We have festivals all over the city.! Nice though!
Agreed! Some were a lil too offended haha!
Wow been subbed for awhile shocking to see you come to my hometown!

Lol Milwaukee is 2nd biggest party town in county. Summer fest massive party every summer, concerts, bars all over the city and down town. Massive casino, state fair, and festival all over city and suburbs. Tail gate party’s. Lake front fire works and south shore fire works, and parks that’s have fire works. Famous for beer, brats, cheese.
great video!
Our Winters do get cold, and Lake Inhanced Snow is not fun but I love our weather
حلوة خوش جولة 🌚♥️
You got a lot of facts wrong. Your video was nice, but not factual at all. It was Miller Park, not Miller Field. That wasn’t the Miller building by the US Bank Building, and Packers were known for meat packing, not cheese packing, etc.
Rightttttt
fr
The Brewers play in American Family Field. Not Miller Park.
My very favorite city on earth!
It's a beautiful city, I loved there. I visited on winter 2019
Good year. 2020 was not fun for Milwaukee
I live in Milwaukee for 54 years is a great city.
I love how deep his voice is.
The Packers pack cheese? That's hilarious.
thanks!
Milwaukee is a cool little city, thanks for visiting!
Milwaukee (city( has about 600,000 people and from 1.6 to 2.1 million people in the metropolitan area. It may not be gigantic, but it certainly is NOT little. Lol....
The #1 place to visit Milwaukee should be 34th Street and Courtland Avenue. Amazing sight seeing.
I love my hometown of Milwaukee , but I am envious of our neighbors to the south, Chicago, I love Chicago style Hot Dogs!
I love how he says Menominee.
I'm so excited that you featured my city in this video. I have lived here for more than 30 years and I love it! If you come here again, check out the Bay View neighborhood.
You love some of it. You'd never live on the Northside or send your kids to say Washington high. Bayview is great area.
Just passed through once, would like to hang out one day
He should have checked out old world 3rd street and Water street. Lots of fun bars and restaurants
1. Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee is the newest, most impressive and most advanced NBA arena according to Yahoo sports.
2. Summerfest in Milwaukee is the worlds largest music festival. It's on a dedicated lake front site and has all the proper infrastructure and diversions built in. Attendance was over 700,000 in 2019 during it's 11 day run and it costs $23.
