Well done, you made me want to see it in person! Don't know where you're headed next but hopefully you can catch route 66 on the way and show us why it's called the great American road trip! Don't know that I'll ever get there but it's on my bucket list, hopefully in a vintage convertible!
Thanks, we are planning on heading to Montana, Washington, Oregon and then California next. We definitely want to explore route 66 after California though!

I miss my hometown. I had my prom at Navy Pier way before it was redesigned as an entertainment area. Glad to see they are allowing kayaking on the Chicago River. It wasn't safe for that kind of recreation when I was growing up. It was still too polluted.

Lou Malnatti's is my favorite Deep Dish Pizza. Also there's a vegan place by the Rigley's Field I forgot the name.
yes, there is so MUCH more to Chicago than just the downtown area. My favorite part are the beaches and the Lincoln Park Zoo.

Did you rent a car or rideshare? How did you get around to so many places in a short period of time. I am going next week. Great video and suggestions.
We just walked everywhere. It helped staying at a hotel in a central location. We stayed at citizen M which was close to both the Riverwalk and millennium park. We still ended up waking roughly 10 miles a day though, but using rideshares could definitely help. Hope you have a great time!
@AkbarAkhyari Chicago is very beautiful and dreamy city. If you are planning to go to Chicago, then do not forget the Chicago pizza, it is very delicious.
I personally like Giordano's deep dish pizza, however locals eat thin crust pizza and a great place to go for tavern pizza is Vito's and Nick's.

Thin crush pizzas are the best imo. In Europe, middle & low-income families prefer deep dish & spaghetti because those foods help them feel full longer.

Thank you! We shoot video primarily with a Sony a7siii and a Sony 16-35 GM f2. 8 lens. We also have a 70-180 f2. 8 for midrange and a 150-500 which we use for our wildlife shots

new York or Chicago ? Which place to visit if you have any once to chose
That's a tough choice. Both are great options, but I think I'd have to go with NYC. We haven't been to NY in about 5 years, (long before we were doing CZcams), but we plan to visit next year to make a NYC video as well
We go for a week (7 to 10 Days) every year and still it is not enough time.
So much to see and do!! We definitely want to visit longer next time!

When the best month to visit it?
honestly I'm not sure I can best answer this. we were only here a few days in early summer, so I'm not sure how it is the rest of the year. I know the winters get very cold though so unless you want to deal with snow you may want to avoid the colder months
Thanks for making this video. Super helpful. Just a little suggestion… too much overuse of the word “Good”. Alternating between different, more descriptive adjectives would have been wonderful. But nonetheless, I enjoyed the video.

2 days is to short in any large city. 4 is a minimum staying in them a week or 2 is better
agreed, there was so much more we wanted to do, but we were visiting on a budget, and couldn't afford the hotel for very long. We definitely want to go back and visit again
The only good deep dish pizza is the one that goes in the microwave to have with your chicken and mushrooms pot noodle 🍜
