Here is my wishlist if you care to go that direction www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls... This shows how to understand the ''bubble'' in a level.
This shows, that the bubble will always go to the "high side"... Therefore, the side the bubble is on, is your high side... If, you want to level something, you have to lower the "high side" or raise the ''low side"... It is that simple. - Jak na to + styl
I clicked thinking this was going to show me something I didn’t already know.
But the fact you said you had to teach other tradesmen really shows where the industry is heading. 🤦🏻♂️
😂😂😂😂
Straigh forward explanation for the layman. Congrats man!
Awesome! Thank you!
LOL when you said the contractor and the building instructor both failed to interpret the level correctly, I assumed there was some sort of sacred knowledge that was picked up through decades of careful observation, which required such a high level of expertise, not even a certified building inspector is familiar, let alone a mere layman. I intently listened, seeking to learn this once but no longer forbidden knowledge 😱
"Bubble go left, left side high spot"
😂 dude that must've been quite jarring, relying on the building inspector to quell this ridiculous debate, only for the building inspector to validate the other guy!! Unbelievable 😂😂
This video was very helpful to me. Thank you for taking the time to post it 🌞
Im just tryna figure out if the bubble all the way to the right can be used to get something plumb in a spot where u cant get the level up and down. Ive been told no but i use it like that
I love the energy of this video.
Thank you, I appreciate that...
Exactly, the liquid goes where the liquid goes, down. Bubble does the opposite, up!
Simple yet exactly what i'm looking for.. Thanks
Glad it helped, thank you for your comments.
BRILLIANT SHORT sweet and easy, even for a moron like myself, thanks mate
Glad you liked it
"Broken a$$ finger! " Lmao👍, Could all my joints tell stories from the past years of LIFE!
Makes sense. Common sense with concrete example to test your logic.
Brilliant and easy to remember
This metal level is something I’ve been looking for. What’s the make and Model if you don’t mind sharing please.
Sorry for delay, it's an Empire brand and about $35
That was awesome and the cat made it legendary
Thank you for the shout-out to grey cat.
Thank you!
I wonder how those guys got their jobs? It can't be for their knowledge of the trades.
The cat was awesome!
Good kitty. Looks like part Main Coon.
Good video and thanks for the lesson
You bet
I’ll never again forget which side is the high side! 🤣😂
noooo show an example with the diagonal ones, I'm just looking at pictures. Also I don't understand why the bubble on the far left tube goes right when its level.
Should have told them to stand by the structure and then demonstrated water falling off the roof 👍🏻
Should have bet them some money on which way the water would flow after you pour out a bottle of water.
Forgive him, who did not know what he was doing
Bubbles high side❤
When you fart in the bathtub it goes up
Great video thanks. As the owner of three cats I subscribe because if you love cat's you have to know what your doing haha. Ok maybe not but I still subscribed 👍
Awesome! Thank you! and agree...
Next time just dump your coffee on his boots and watch which way the water flows
Interesting... Will take under advisement.
Ty
Yeah, but where does the bubble go on the low side?
Grizzly, no bubble on the low side... bubble always goes to the high side...
Cats always steal the show
They do... thanks for that.
thanks mate
You are most welcome.
You are joking right? Two contractors and a building inspector? I haven’t built a thing in my life and I’ve known this for 40 yrs. I know some people that need to loose their jobs.
Bubble goes to high side
Appreciate the video, just find it hard to believe an inspector needs to be explained as to how a level works....inspector....maybe the guy should change jobs
I'm pretty sure that if you are using a level you know at least that much. Nothing on technique? Application? Best practices? Why was this video almost four minutes long just to say the bubble goes up?
You should not watch my videos if they trigger you.
@@EngineerPEretired I didn't mean offense. Everything you said was accurate and true. Which sets you ahead of 90% of all tubers by itself. Thanks for taking the time.
You had to explain that? 🤣
Lol pretty sad the inspector didn't know this
are you Joe Pesci
This could’ve been a 30 second video
I bet you are a lot of fun and people can't wait until they see you again... Not!
Why the bubble is not touching the right and the left ring???????????????????????
??????????????????
Why there is 0,5mm on the left and the right of the bubble?????????? between the rings???????????@@EngineerPEretired
@@edgaro67 I think those rings show one quarter inch per foot rise, something like that, so lift one end till the bubble touches that line, for pipes/plumbing etc to flow liquid
*cat biting picture*
Who hurt you?
Your momma
I would've grabbed a laser and demonstrated- hi/lo
I really don't understand what is complicated about this.
So you are saying, the inspector does not know how to read a bubble???
OMG! I wonder how many houses that idiot wrecked because of his ignorance.
Plus the contractor who is a complete idiot, he could not understand either.
So, how do you tell the surface is level?
When it's no longer out of level. Ha
@@EngineerPEretired Thanks for the reply. I'm new to this. I plan on using it to ensure my expensive washer dryer set is leveled. So, when the bubble is perfectly in the center, that's when the surface is level correct?
I just posted your video reply
search channel videos to find it
When the bubble is in the middle
