Respectfully, this powder is not to be applied with a fluffy brush or heavily layered with fingertips. It works best with a light touch using fingertips or a paddle style foundation brush. A dampened Beauty Blender is amazing.

I have huge pores but dry skin. I would love to try it just to blur the pores. Maybe I'll need to take extra steps to hydrate. That is so snafu that you were able to meet Sonia g and envoy it so much. I'm getting ready to make my first Sonia g purchase💖💖

Noir Alibi I was shown by my Woo makeup boutique to use a foundation paddle brush. Pat and press it over the skin. It very airy and will go all over the place. I also have a pointed foundation brush by Sephora and love that too. And fingertips works too. I gentle add it to the area between my brows and chin.

    Hi Michele,
Believe it or not that finger tip Application works "Bomb"with the very inexpensive Amazonian Clay powder, Better than the By Terry, also the By Terry looks better when applied more lightly with a damp Beauty Blender...and nothing I have ever used looks better than Chantacaille ❤love ur channel ur amazing, and so beautiful!

I hate staying up late too, I like a similar schedule to you. However I work shift work as a med lab tech so have to do evening and overnight shifts sometimes too. Unless I’m being paid I’m in bed by 8 or 830 especially in winter. I don’t enjoy the sun being out until 1030 like now (I live pretty far north in Edmonton so we have extreme long and short days depending on the season!)

I was running after this powder b/c i heard so many good things about it for dry skin, however I absolutely hated it, it made my skin so dry, sucked out all the moisture,I had to give it away. I love La Mer, Chantecaille, Sensai, La Prairie and Sisley! This one is not a good powder for dry skin.

Fantastic review. I don’t think this would work for me, although the pore minimizing aspect of it sounds great. My skin can be so weird. Dry/combination w/some large pores. I’m with you, don’t want anything too matte or too “sparkly”. Thank you:))

That's so, so lovely about Sonia G - that reminds me I haven't yet got all the brushes she released. Still missing a few, so should probably get on that! And hmm, you're saving me money these days. I was v interested in the Sisley powder you spoke about recently, but on seeing the glittery bits I thought naaah, not for me. :-/ I also really like a dewy-looking finish - so this By Terry one also doesn't look like my cup of tea... Currently waiting for other kinds of goodies though, like some Blithe Patting Splash Masks and TF's Copper Chic. Can't wait..! :-D

I just got a stinkin cuuuute mini sample of this powder. I had to buy it!!! It is so mattifying I love it. I’m v oily & it perfects my skin like nothing else. I got a set w powder & bT primer. This is so much more amazing I was gonna buy a Walmart powder & spend $35 to get free postage so I spent $60 on this. Toss up on price but now I’m convinced luxury makeup is where it’s at! It’s expensive but every luxury item has given me so much joy (eyeshadows, highlighter, fdtn, bronzer, & lipsticks & even skincare...et al) worth spending the xtra ca$h to get this for oily skin peeps I want to buy some la mer powder/Fdtn for next VIBR sale. I only ever had 1 luxury product I didn’t like (Sisley eyeliner pen dried up)......highly recommended this powder! This is much better than the Coty airpsiun LOLZ the only powder that I really enjoy is bare minerals or hourglass ohhhh fingers? Oh my I had no idea. Thanks for the tip!!

I’m not a powder lover/ user since my 20s ... the glowy/ dewy my face the happier ... however recently I’ve tried the make up forever setting loose powder under my inner corner of eyes and in between my eyebrows I have some extra shine and larger oil glands .. and across the bridge if my nose it helps with glasses pinch marks... which of these you tried did you like the best for perhaps just a few areas rather than the whole face. Thanks!!!

I purchased a mini of this powder on dermstore.com a few months ago to try and, like your friend, I thought it was just ok. I, too, have dry skin, and it was by far the most matte powder I had ever used. But I had never tried using my fingers, and you can bet I will be trying that today to blur out my pores! I think it’s so cool you got to meet one of your makeup “idols”, and she was even nicer than you thought she would be.

You tube made me buy this powder, and nope I rarely touch it. We have very similar skin type and I find your opinions or experiences with products very similar to my own. This powder flies everywhere and one can easily inhale it if not careful. I try to use it around my nose as that is where I get oiliness but it doesn’t stay matte. Sometimes it’s too much hassle to whip out 3 different powders for different areas of the face! 😅 Today is Friday but I’ve only seen 4 powder videos, did I miss one video? 🤔 These series are 👍.

You're great at what you do, so just jump right into the product and your review. You can save the kind shout outs and the anecdotes until the end. Thanks for posting.
