Personally, I really like how he goes "Woooh!" when he boosts, it gives the impression that it must be really fun to move at such high speeds.
I just adore the energy in this game.

No doubt actually. Moving that fast would pump your adrenaline through the roof, so it would no doubt make you feel incredible. Only issue of going that fast is that if you hit anything, your gonna be a fine red paste against the ground

We can only hope. But after Sonic Forces, we’ve reached that point where we can’t even trust Sonic Team to make a good game anymore. Just like in 2006.
Hopefully there will be some kind of reform, a new game where they give it their all to earn back people’s trust. Just like Unleashed itself.

I came here after seeing Forces’ Modern Sonic stages. Unleashed is far superior in the boost games, better than Generations in my opinion.
justandresx I totally agree with you. Unleashed in terms of Modern Sonic level design and gameplay is the best. Forces level design is so automated and bland, even Lost World had better level design.
I feel like Unleashed is better when it comes to Modern play as well, but I think Generations has beaten Unleashed when it comes to modability due to being launched on PC for steam, and I think that it opens up a lot of possibilities, as well as being able to port Unleashed levels.

Jalen Payton I’m not too much of a boost fan, but unleashed is probably the only exception for me. It feels the best out of all of them. It just seemed like everything afterwards took steps down even when the innovated certain things.

Exactly what I want from a sonic game
One thing I liked the most about unleashed’s levels in general is it felt like a marathon. You truly experienced like you were exploring a continent at super sonic speeds, and that making it to a level, and beating it, just felt so earned

The thing that this game does, is that it is a good way to test one's reflexes when gaming. Reply on how you think games this fast-paced benefit people.
Sonic Unleashed would have been a perfect Sonic Adventure 3.

I'm Frankly not complaining about the night stages even if it's not about speed, i'm still ok with these beat them all/platforming levels.
In a way, it is. The game was originally called Sonic World Adventure.

Looks as good as sonic forces which came out in 2017 almost 10 years later
And the layout design of this game reminds me of Final Fantasy 13, feel modern and futuristic

Flamestar320 power to the people The concept was pretty neat. I liked the button mashing and building up power and combo move sets. I feel like the night time levels were sometimes too unforgiving.
Agreed! They were pretty good- I found the fighting quite fun, and a good contrast/ slower pace compared to the usual 'skip everything, boost ahead' mentality of the usual sonic. However, I tend to agree when people slate the levels for being too long (30 minutes anyone? And that's good enough for a B rank...) and they're SOMETIMES tedious.

This was probably was the hardest game SEGA has ever made. mostly because of the speed.
This game and SA2 were definitely the most hardest modern games in my opinion.

That Adabat Jungle Joyride stage is about the same length of the entirety of Sonic Forces.
Chun-nan day stage has the best theme of all day stages. hands down.

Think some people can agree that this is the best sonic game out there. Sonics speech and the music shows the excitement and joy of the levels. This is still and always my fave childhood game. & I can't be the only one that thinks the Chinese day music is THE best🤣

Sonic's little quips and voice lines like the WOOO, Feelin good!, and even just the beginning Here we... GO! brings so much to sonic's personality. Running fast and blasting through the stages is actually fun and engaging to him. He enjoys and is proud of what he does.
Good to see a run of all day stages without using glitches. and nice save there towards the end.
A non-speed run playthrough of the daytime stages... Now I can actually see what they look like, thanks! 👍🏼 Speed runs are cool to watch but it's nice to watch normal too, and this is awesome 👏
Anyone else agree that sonic unleashed is probably the most beautiful looking, fast paced game to all the sonic games that ever existed? Fuck colors the wisps were annoying and the 2D seconds just sucked unleashed did everything right with the day stages and the were hog to me as a damm good introduction, I enjoyed the beatem up gameplay and the puzzles you had to solve overall unleashed in my opinion is the best Sonic game of all time, I know a lot of people are gonna REALLY hate me after I say this but... Sonic Unleashed Day stages look more fun that Mania...

Sonic Unleashed was the first Sonic game I've ever played! My love for this game is mainly due to the nostalgia, but I can't get enough of the thrilling day stages, the AMAZING graphics, and the Werehog stages which I enjoyed and I don't get why people hate them.

I remember this one time I was playing Dragon Road and during the extremely short freefalling section I decided to hit the boost button in order to fall faster, but apparently I did it too late and managed to boost into a cliff and die.

Good job dude for real, enjoyed the video having remembered my own fun playing this hidden gem of a game with the exception of the night stages. And even tho the Shamar stage has my favorite theme, it is definitely a Bitch tryna dodge everything in your path going super fast.

Playing as multiple characters with different play styles, multiple stories to go through with a last story at end, and also the logo is reminiscent of the previous games...1 ring for SA, 2 for SA2, 3 for heroes...if it just said Sonic Adventure 3 on the box instead of heroes, people wouldn't be asking for SA3

The daytime stages are amazing if we had a full game on them without the wearhog this might've been my favorite sonic game
I think the day stages were pretty demanding if you wanted to keep your speed going the entire way, but it’s still VERY satisfying to not only watch, but play through these stages super fast

apotos is based off of Greece, holoska would probably be based off of Alaska, because in Antarctica, there is no permanent human settlement there, whereas indigenous peoples have lived in Alaska since the last ice age 30,000 years ago, shamar is based in the Middle East and India, not mexico, because the architectural style of the buildings in shamar would most likely match that of other countries in the middle east, such as Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, and Adabat would most likely be in Thailand due to the vast abundance of jungle and the ancient ruins most reminiscent of Angkor Wat, which is in Cambodia. So, you only got 4/8 right, and as for Spagonia, you're half right, as Spagonia is not only inspired by Italy, but also France and Spain, as well.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why the level design/layout for the day stages are what I consider truly the best compared to Sonic Colours and Sonic Generations. The speed boost feature was used correctly here, there wasn't much visual noise going on, and the stages were more forgiving if you messed up, allowing you multiple ways to recover. A lot of people disagree with me, but Sonic Colours and Generations was ass compared to the level design of Unleashed's day stages.

People may hate me for it, but this is the BEST 3D Sonic game. It had a lot of space and variety to it. Colors was great as well, but this game gave way to it. I’m talking about the 360/PS3 by the way. The day stages are PHENOMENAL, and the Werehog stages were okay too. People rip on this game WAY too much. There’s a reason why so many stages from Unleashed were in GENERATIONS FOR GODS SAKE. stop hating on my game dog :P

jungle joyride is the peak of boost gameplay and is what every game after this should’ve been like
Aside from the obvious increase in difficulty level with the Xbox/PS3 version, it's nice that you don't always have to hear "huhhhh-uhhhhhhhh!!!!" all the time when using the dash as is the case with the PS2/Wii version.
On the downside, Rooftop Run never fails to kick my ass.
