"Cold" won the 2022 Grammy for Best Country Song. It was a cut from the album, "Starting Over", which won Grammy that year for Best Country Album. Another song from the same album, " You Should Probably Leave " won Grammy for Best Country Solo Performance. That whole album is just rich!

Make sure you treat "Tennessee Whiskey / Drink You Away" (2015 CMA Awards) as one song. The energy just keeps ramping up and is widely considered one of the greatest awards show performances in history.

Studio versions are good, but he comes alive in a live performance. The special thing about him is that he does well in any genre and has many collaborations with many different artists. For something sort of upbeat and fun check out his live performance of "Arkansas" and "Devil Always Made Me Think Twice".
saw Chris live a couple years ago....people in the audience had tears in their eyes during a few of his songs...it was THAT GOOD

Chris never misses. You can’t go wrong listening to any of his songs. Tennessee Whiskey is one of his biggest hits. I was Wrong, Death Row, Sometimes I cry, Fire away, barely alive, and either way are all great ones too. Trust me…..you will easily enjoy 99% of Chris Stapleton’s music.
The More of Chris' music I listen to, the more I am convinced that at his core, he is a blues artist. And this song is the standard bearer for that assessment. This is pure blues, baby!

chris' live performances are always better than the studio versions. It's like he holds back on the studio version and just doesn't hold back live, Always watch his live version with the exception of Fire Away. you need to watch the video along with the song.
