Honestly I’m glad Post is the owner now.
Some people think it’s ridiculous but honestly that card will be priceless 5 years from now. The fact it even scored a 9 is awesome. It could’ve been pulled by a younger kid who maybe doesn’t care to grade cards and gone down in integrity. Really cool story and outcome.
that's true, some kid could have opened it and just kept it in his deck and ruined it. As we know any folds cuts or rips even if small diminish the value of the card

I'm so happy to hear that he'll keep his job and do whatever he wants off the dividends and not touch the amount he received. He's definetly not going to make the money vanish and go back to ground zero like so many would in his situation. It's so rare to see "luck money" going to a person with the right mindset. It gives me a big relief, and I don't know why. It won't affect me personally. It1s just refreshing to hear.

A part of me wanted the ring to be discovered but not made public. Just a super powerful collectable kept secret by it's keeper. Imagine how bent on finding it collectors would become.

That card could be discovered in 20 years later, or remain forever in the back of a warehouse, or be contained in the package bought by a parent for his crying 6-year-old son. Could it also be discovered in France, Spain, Italy, England. Africa? everywhere. It could also have been found by a person unwilling to give it away. Instead it was found quickly and by a conscientious adult near the country that produces magic. I'm wondering: if it had never been found, what commercial backlash would the wizard have had?
