Kirshenner and Cohen are intentionally dishonest. Of the past 10 Special Counsels there are only 2 not Approved by Congress. Those 2 are Robert Mueller and Jack Smith. This will end up back in the SC and it will just be more egg on their faces. Eventually enough will be piled on that someone will resign or be impeached. The Constitution is not a reactionary document, it takes it's time as all the checks and balances, built in, take effect. This is only issue I have with the Constitution personally.

Jack Smith is working on his appeal and I hope it will trigger the 11th Circuit to do something about her but as for now it's likely to go all the way to the Supreme Court and we all know how they are behaving lately.

Jack Smith did file an appeal with the 11th Circuit. Just waiting on their ruling, which will most likely be to turn over her ruling, continue with the indictment with a new judge.
Bc unfortunately rules to follow take time. But it’s in process. Not only being overturned, but hopefully the ‘process’ there’s enough evidence to remove without impeachment and she’s gone.

I'm always amazed at comments like this. I guess that you already thought that, & so this news just triggered that reaction in you. But the reality is, that Hunter's lawyers aren't doing this because he's the son of a wealthy politician. Any lawyer would be free to do this, because its based on what Judge Cannon & the Supreme Court did. Would any other lawyer, have a client that is a Dem, or even not one, & would try to take advantage of this shameful ruling? Its hard to say, but Hunter's lawyers & Hunter himself has been the ongoing target of attacks from conservative media & politicians, so of course they follow the news about the right, & might be more inclined to make this move, but that has nothing to do with Hunter's connections. Its also a bizarre comment because its unlikely to even work, its unlikely that his judge, not being a conservative lackey to Trump, would agree with that ruling. I'm always left wondering if the country & world would be a better place if more people had a better understanding of the world they live in, or were at least taught how to analyze things with critical thinking, instead of reactionary, emotional, knee jerk comments.

So you're not a competent lawyer then because you see, judge Cannon's ruling was right on base with the appointments clause in the U.S. constitution. There's not a thing Jack Smith can do about it. He might get a little help from Soros paid for and appointed Democrats on appeal, but sooner or later he will have to face the appointments clause in the U.S. constitution. He is totally wasting taxpayer money by going any further with this.
I said this the day Cannon's report was released. I said "it would be the best thing for Hunter Biden to join Trump's team to fight Smith's appeal and let Thomas see exactly what he wrought."
A day or 2 later Hunter said he would seek to have his conviction overturned based on Cannon's ruling.

Obama's surveillance abuse, Hillary's server and accountability for four dead Americans in Benghazi. Biden's justice for the 13 dead military servicemen and service women, and millions in top military equipment to the enemy in Afghanistan. Dems worried about Trump possibly sharing some obscure item from a document, and ugh he won't give those back to us waaahhh. All of this has the potential to make the 11th Circuit Court in Florida look like fools. So, they should act quickly so that Cannon's ruling can be reversed.

That won't be the end of it. A reversal will be appealed and it will eventually get to SCOTUS who may well rule against the reversal; making some insane argument that 70 years of law was wrong and Special Council has to be approved by the President and Congress and so protect Supreme Court judges from impeachment themselves; something Thomas is desperate to arrange.

Here's the real irony reported by ABC News: "David Weiss, previously served as U.S. Attorney in Delaware, where he had been appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate." Jack Smith is a private citizen assigned by a political appointee. He was neither appointed nor confirmed. Oops!

His lawyers had no choice; it is their duty to do anything they can legally to defend their client and them not appealing would be seen as malpractice. Even if Hunter asked them not to appeal their agreement not to act could have lost them their licenses; their role is to work for their client alone and not allow politics to influence that (although he could have sacked them but without any certainty his new lawyers wouldn't do the exact same thing).
@@davidbellamy2612 I’m sure that’s all true, but I doubt very much if he or his lawyers expect his motion to succeed. It seems more probable that they’re hoping it will simply shine a light on, and challenge the legality of, Judge Cannon’s ruling.

No, it isn't. Only if they are not impartial as the law requires.
Many Trump appointed Judges have ruled against him or at least his claims brought to court by others e.g. of voter fraud. Judges swear to uphold the law and many do regardless of their political affiliation.
But now that her actions have proven her to be blatantly impartial, is there now a conflict of interest precluding her from having this case if it eventually continues?
@@derekrodgers5510 That isn't an easy question to answer. No lawyer would say 100% there is because you never know what the appelate court will decide. You have to look what the law says but more important what the courts decided so far. And of course you have to ask the court for a new appoinment of a judge. With a high degree l'm confident Jake Smith will get what he will ask for.
This case will end up in the supreme court. With these radical right wing judges nobody can predicte the outcome.

They're judges, they aren't supposed to be running the country. They aren't supposed to be making up new laws or judicial rules. That's not their job and that's why so many of the unqualified judges that Mitch rushed to seat need to be removed. Congress also needs to submit a bill that nobody who has been deemed unqualified by the bar association can be appointed to a federal judge seat.
