    Great Video Logan! I too try to trim once a month, but sometimes that flow state kicks in during other maintenance and I find myself doing it anyway haha

    Would a low tech iwagumi style tank be a good first tank?

      Probably not if you go the low tech route. Iwagumis tend to rely on carpeting plants that really benefit from high lighting/CO2. For beginner low-tech, I would go for a densely planted jungle-style scape with low light plants like crypts, microsorums, and rheophytes
