- It took me a few months starting in late September, but I got it done! I was inspired by Mazumaro's "Myth's Bad Ending" fan animation, and I wanted to make a sort of companion video while adding my own personality to it.
It isn't nearly as crazy, but I'm still very proud of it! I hope you all like it!

Happy 2024, and happy anniversary to this video! It's wild to think this is a year old already.
To celebrate, I decided to finally draw a proper thumbnail for it. The original was mostly put together artwork taken from the video itself, and it had always bothered me when put next to literally every other cartoon I've made. I hope you like it!

It's funny how the most fluffy and calming vtuber ever is always portraited as the villain in these animations!
maybe its the ticking timebomb of a book she's carrying.
It’s narratively the most interesting lore bomb that ties the group together. Amelia’s dive into the investigation of mythological beings leads her to gaining friends. Calli, Kiara, and Gura have hang ups about their otherworldly past that are elevated to becoming better people. So, the only other human, Ina, being a vessel for the ancient ones really is a reflection of the team carrying a heavy burden of maintaining their humanity. Ame also having time manipulation is another layer of responsibility. Honestly, Hololive really hit gold on being vauge enough for the fans to interpret a very specific narrative of an extraordinary friendship being tested.

Maybe it has something to do with the eldricht horror part? Dunno…
The part where angry Kiara blows up into phoenix form is so cool, especially the facial expression right before.

I'm gonna choose to believe this is one of the previous timelines in Myth's Bad Ending and it would be the opening for an anime adaptation, which is why the scenes play out slightly differently and there's colour lol. Perhaps it could be the first timeline and Ame would be able to figure out that if she left a message, there was a chance other timelines could be spared the same fate

I can totally imagine a Holomyth anime where the first season is about Ame discovering the other members as a part of an investigation before they all gather together.
Then the second season is worldbuilding about the AOs, Holocouncil, and Omega with Ina going out of control and leading to the climax being a variation of Myth's Bad Ending (thus, creating IRyS) with the arc in season 3 then being about Holomyth encountering Holocouncil and IRyS due to the climax of season 2 with Ame and Ina's world-breaking actions while preventing Myth's Bad Ending from happening again

EDIT: We've passed 40k! (so fast that the viewcount on the video itself hasn't even caught up to it yet lol, but I can see it in my analytics) Wow thank you! Again I don't know what exactly happened at the end of August to quite literally quadruple it's view count. I just have to assume the algorithm got a hold of it, but I couldn't be happier that it's doing so well!

Honestly just popped up in my recommendations, why it didn't before this.. dunno?
Everytime Ina gets closer to the bad end the algorithm recommends this video, it is like the end-of-the-world clock. This time (2 weeks ago) matches with the pikmin stream where Ina lost all her pikmins due to bad management and poor decision making.
Would be interesting to see stories where the either Calli, Kiara, or Gura fly off the handle. We got essentially Death, an immortal fire spewing phoenix, and the Queen of Atlantis, but so much is put on Ina and her connection to the Ancient One. Constantly seeing Ina as the one who loses control and needs to be stopped gets a little stale and implies that Ina can't handle mental strain of the whispers, despite being the comfiest and kindest of Myth. Seeing Calli judge the human race as forfeit and trying to put it down like a rabid dog, or Kiara getting bored with the stagnation of constantly being reborn throughout the centuries, or Gura losing out to Gawr for control, would be interesting stories to see.
Those are some great ideas! If I wasn’t thinking of the Bad Ending animation and the Violet ending the whole time, then I’d probably do something with Kiara as the villain tbh

I like to imagine your fight as one of the unseen, "inbetween" time dimensions due to the numerous Ame bodies found at "The Theatre Room" Great piece of work and lovely references. having the "tell me" be the Calling Card of AO-Chan was a nifty touch
What about Ame? Seeing her finally give into the strain of resetting the timeline over and over again driving her deep into despair would be fun
@@shadicsaiyan2659Considering she doesn't have BIG FANSERVICEY POWERS she doesn't suit to be a BIG POWERFUL VILLAIN type. If she's gonna be a villain, she's the "work smart not hard" plot twist villain type like that guy from Watchmen... Uhh, forgot his name.
None of the other Myth girls have the villain story as well built into them as Ina though. That's the issue. Sure, Calli could see make judgement on humanity could be something...but is she really the type of character to be so judgmental? Same for the others. Like you COULD make the argument for it, but the reason why people keep writing Ina as the villain is because it works the best. Not only because of lore, but because she is the comfiest one, and therefore it narratively hits the hardest. Maybe it does get stale, but so does the Injustice storyline, and it seems like fans of DC still can't get enough of it after like a dozen different retellings of that same story.
And the thing is, until we get like a full anime adaptation of the story, it really won't truly be told. Myth's Bad Ending was the closest we got, but even so.
Now that I think about it. This could also be canon because of Ame's multiple resets. The fight is far different from Mazu's therefore this must be one of the fights that transpired before the most recent reset.

The animation is very cool, Calli's spinning attack and the beginning close-up on Ame were my favorite parts.

in amidst of a battle of Myth vs an unforeseen foe. in a dire situation Ina uses a big amount of power from the book and accidentally unleashed a evil spirit sealed inside the book. black magic wraps around her, changing her apperance and a bust of power flowing in Ina.
Managing to defeat the enemy, the rest of Myth wakes up from being unconscious from the battle. As everyone gathers they see Ina standing infront of the defeated enemy. as they went closer to Ina, Calli senses a overwhelming power from the book as if it was giving all of its power to Ina. the power from the book is changing her apperance from her violet hair to pure white. a white dress and a cloth hanging on a bandana covering her face (there's this one stream where she calls "the watcher" dressed in all white dress and a cloth covering her face claiming to be the original owner of the book (idk).). all the power bursts out of her threatening the girls. the outburst of power comes back to Ina and now completing her transformation. "Ina, what happened" as Gura trembles in fear knowing that Ina is possessed by the book she holds.
"finally, its been too long." says Ina in a different voice. in an insant she teleports and stands infront of myth then releasing her Aura of power to threaten the girls. the girls jumped back and talked to each other on what theyre going to do about Ina.
they have no choice but to fight her to prevent doing further damage on the area. and thus the beginning of Myth Vs Ina.
PS: this has been on my mind for a LONG TIME and im so happy that u made this masterpiece, ITS BEYOND AMAZING! aside of the story i typed i also thought of a story regarding SuperAppleMan's Mumei's Diary. :)

i was going to say, i could see that you watched myths bad end, then i saw your description. it's pretty nice, i did thin calli taking off like a fighter jet was a touch weird though, but overall quite good
