"Firefly Lane" was one of the BEST series I have watched in a long time. I binged watched it because I couldn't wait to see the next episode. It was so realistic and the acting was FANTASTIC! ❤️❤️❤️

I know people want more and more seasons, but I think this is perfect. The show had a story to tell with multiple great subplots, and it did it. Two seasons was the perfect length and it ended beautifully

Such an amazing ending to an amazing series. Sad that it had to end so early though. The characters truly had a magical connection throughout the series and that last episode was a doozy, even for dudes...

I am glad that they ended it well. I loved the show, but I think I would have been pissed if they hadn't wrapped it up well and it got cancelled. But it would be cool to see Sarah Chalke and Catherine Heigel do something else together. They had great chemistry. And the actresses who played their younger counterparts were great too. I bet they have successful careers ahead of them.
Not the type of show I usually watch, but my friend begged me to watch it. I finally made time for this series and WOW, I loved it so much! I was laughing, crying till the very end. The ending was very emotional.
I loved this show. The characters were my age and their teen years were my teen years. I am glad it got a finale. I hated that Kate died. I never read the books

I loved it, was it perfect?? No, but nothing is. This show gets all your emotions going. You laugh, cry, get mad, get happy etc.

The four ladies playing the main roles were just so bloody brilliant. Firefly Lane really was a rollercoaster ride of emotions and I loved every second of it. Katherine Heigl is a star for sure!

I put off watching this series until my summer break from teaching. This series was poweful. I am still shaken. I wached both seasons in two days. I connected to it in so many ways. I will never forget it. The story, the acting, the sets, costuming, the music, and the realities of life surrounding the 30 year friendship have made feel nostalgic for my past and cry for the characters and for myself. True frienships that stand the test of time are rare. Life is bittersweet and short. To be able to laugh in the face of great pain and diversity takes strength. I need more laughter and dancing in my life. This series shows that sharing our stories has value to others.
I’m a man and I’m not crying for such things… but I couldn’t hold myself at the end … it was extremely sad 💔
I stopped watching the last few episodes. I couldn't. I am just finishing the last episode, and I am BALLING. I am hiding my screeching yelps into my blouse. I got the courage to finish the show today. As a Stage IV Metastatic Breast and Chest Bone Cancer patient, when I even sensed that she might have cancer, I panicked. WHY!
Every damn show uses cancer as a freaking disease! It pissed me off so bad. I just didn't want to see her die. But, she dies how I want to die.
I always say, I am not dying in the hospital. If I am in hospice, I will be in a Morphin drip at home, not in the hospital. I want to die near my family. Who will be the ones moving my body.
I worked in a hospital for 1 1/2 years through the pandemic. I just left this job this February. Because my back was burning in the ER, where ironically I worked, and I admitted myself. I knew something was wrong.
My cancer is metastatic, meaning that it spreads. It started in my left breast as a lump, that I NEVER, got checked. I was a single mom of 4 kids. Busy and too tired. I said, no time to go to the hospital.
Wrong. Ladies, any lump you feel? Get it checked, please. EARLY DETECTION IS KEY. My lump grew until it became a tumor. That tumor spread to my chest bone and formed another tumor.
And that tumor is wrapped around my chest bone. It has been there for 6 years. Just there. It is a miracle I have lasted this long. Now that day, they found a cancer tear in my T5, my spine, my shoulder, and my pelvic bone.
Always go to the doctor. If I had, I wouldn't be here like this today. I did enjoy the ending because she smoked that weed, and she danced for her friend. I want that, I want my loved ones to remember the good. And keep living happily.
So girls....again, please go get your mammograms, no matter how scary that might be, get your health insurance. Don't have one? Apply for low income insurance, can't? You're not legal? It doesn't matter! Your health matters. A hospital can not turn you down if you are not a citizen. You would be surprise how many people didn't want to come in the ER because they didn't have papers. I always told them, do jot worry, we cannot deny you, and your health is what matters. The rest will resolve itself out.
Check....your....BOOBS.

Best wishes to you. Mammograms saved my breast and me. I have watched manyl people I know and loved struggle with cancer. Some survived and others, I miss daily. Write everything down that you want like Kate did.

I thought it was just a mini series. It was the right length.
Katherine Heigl is queen of LIFE THEMED movies. She turns any projects that talks about family, friends, relationships, career and life in general into gold! She is that amazing of an actress. The story is kinda mediocre for me but Katherine still made it such an amazing series. I wish she was given an A-list costar though and less cliche dialogues and this show with be perfect!
The show plodded along in the first season and was sweet and ok enough to return to it but season 2 - especially the last few eps- were fantastic. The finale was just magic and honestly it can end now. There’s nothing more that needs to be said and the satisfaction is complete. If they did green light another season, I doubt I’d watch it 🤷♀️
The way her soul, found peace and tranquility before it went on its way to happier place. Amazing ❤ best ending to a film since Braveheart ❤
i loved how at peace Kate was as she watched the beauty of nature before she passed. So touching and a perfect way to go. I hope someday I go that way too!

It was always going to be just two. It finished breaking everyone's heart but a third season without Kate wouldn't be worth it. Their story was told with all the ups and downs of life and maintaining that strong bond throughout. It was also lovely to see a relationship bloom with Tully and Cloud, Tully grow up a bit more after the accident and finally get together with Dan the Sportsman and have his voice come through the door on Marah's wedding day, telling her to come down. My bf and I watched it togethrr and daid there were many moments we could relate - only we have never had a fight and we have never not spoken. We'd never not speak for a year for sure. Loved the series and ordered the DVD 🥰🥰🥰

How did you miss that?? Also, jumped off Netflix after they went to the matt for child exploiting show *Cuties* which is still on their platform if I'm not mistaken...but maybe I'm alone on hating child exploiting shows. And fyi I'm fine with my solitude on that one so no need to check that fact...I'm giving it to you.

@@truelies2667 I watched to many K-Dramas this winter after I got laid off (while my place of employment was being renovated), and now Netflix seems to think I’m Korean, so that is all I see when get on the homepage.
@@fordhouse8b Lmao, that's all we see on Netflix recommendations too these days. I don't actively watch them but I can't avoid getting somewhat invested in most things my partner watches since we're both on disability and rarely leave the bed. 😂 I'm a big fan of Sarah Chalke so I've been vicariously following this show from start to end (like a radio drama but with more sex scenes); as for Korean stuff, I really liked what I saw of My Liberation Notes. Romance is a Bonus Book was fun too. Even though I don't actively watch most of the time and can't understand Korean at all, my girl's enthusiasm is contagious - she's so damn cute when she's retelling something (quite often badly - we both have ADHD so putting words in the right order can be... entertaining 😂) but knows I'm not feigning interest because she knows what I enjoy and I keep making stupid comments about whatever she's watching. She sometimes plays some scene or other back for me then sits there giggling or commenting all the way through so we have to go back and watch again because I couldn't concentrate on both her and the TV. 😆❤️ (She invariably wins by being too cute; and no, she didn't watch me type that. 😛)

This was geniusly produced! The portrayal of Kate & Tully's bond, of female friendship/sisterhood was beautiful, raw and wholesome so much so after it finished I felt like I'd lost my best friends. Marah pissed me all the way off though!

It’s most likely because of Katherine Heigl being difficult on set. Sarah Chalke was never reported on having difficulties with her costars on Scrubs and other shows she’s appeared in. Katherine Heigl has.

All of her colleagues, in all these years that Heigl is active, all said the same thing, that she's super professional, really funny and awesome to work with. Justin Chambers is one of them. Justin spent 6 years on set with Katherine. The crew from Grey's said that Katherine was one of the nicest people and one of their favorites behind the scenes and the Grey's directors also praised Heigl for her professionalism. Ellen Pompeo recently called Heigl a hero and ahead of her time and more revelations are coming in the future. Sarah Chalke said that Katherine is already a friend for a lifetime and that she wouldn't want anyone else to share this experience with. The crew from Firefly Lane called Katherine their light on set. And everyone who opens their netflix account see Heigl's face in number 1 and everyone talks about that like crazy.
