Since 1971, portable radio receivers "Meridian-201" and "Ukraine-201" have been produced by the Kiev plant "Radiopribor". Receivers of the second class ''Meridian-201'' and ''Ukraine-201'' are assembled according to the same electrical circuit and design, and differ only in the name and design. They are designed to receive radio stations operating in the LW, MW and HF bands. The HF band is divided into four subbands. Reception on all bands is carried out on a magnetic antenna, and on HF also on a telescopic one. All stages of the receivers, with the exception of the pre-terminal and output stages of the bass amplifier, are made on integrated circuits. There are 3 integrated circuits in the receiver: local oscillator and frequency converter; IF amplifier and detector; ULF preliminary cascades. The use of integrated circuits led to the processing of the Meridian receiver circuit. Only the input and resonant circuits have undergone minor changes. The nominal output power of the receiver is 0.4 W. Loudspeaker 1GD-28. Power supply of 6 batteries 343 or from 2 - 3336L, connected in series. The dimensions of the model are 275x200x78 mm.
