Unless this was a sarcasm, this testing video was 9 years old. The game is Stardew Valley, it has improved a lot and become a legend. I highly recommend it, spent 300+ hours, 10/10 still continue on playing.
I can't wait for the release of this game. My girlfriend really likes HM series, but they have been lacking quality in the recent titles. Please let me know if you need alpha/beta testing. Also, Kickstarter isn't a bad idea to get some funding :)

The reason why Minecraft is still relevant because the map relies on pure rng. You could start off in a forest or in the middle of the ocean. So surviving feels different every time. Stardew has one main storyline that repeats itself with every playthrough. But its fun because of the farming aspect, getting rich, and all the lovable characters. Both games are very different, deal with different things, and both are very dear to the gaming community. I'd rather not compare apples with oranges.

So I see a bunch of comments from the last couple days (it's currently Nov 3 2021) and that makes sense - the Haunted Chocolatier trailer dropped recently so I'm guessing the algorithm picked up on that. But weirdly there's a LOT of comments from 9 months ago. Makes me wonder what was going on back in Jan/Feb that made the algorithm show this to a bunch of people.
I love how the npcs arent some super smart ai with perfect voice acting, they are characters which follow a simple daily routine and yet they feel more like people than some characters seen in triple A titles.

Conspiracy theory: Haunted Chocolatier takes place long after Stardew Valley, and the monster filled lands you explore are the remains of the old farm and pelican town. The ghosts that you recruit are the townsfolk. That is too dark for concernedape, but it's fun to think about.
Dang, is it though? We've already got a war on with a townsperson returning with PTSD, an secret affair and child in town, people with untreated depression and alcoholism, multiple feuds between species, multiple orphans, ect! I think this awesome theory would fit right in!

man, this game has come such a long way. What a great look into the past. So much effort. Then it became on of if not the best game ever. I finally convinced my cousin to play this and now it has taken over her life. She cant get enough of it. Ive been playing for about 4 years now.

this game has only been out for 4-5 years which isnt too long really but seeing a pre release video makes it feel ancient.
