Disney missed the mark when they didn't put a talking mutant canoe in their adaptation of Pocahontas

Pochahantas: Nightmare Boat Edition
I love that this movie is supposed to take place in the early 1600s and everyones just running around in their sketchers and jeans. Like what were they thinking??
"I got it! Let's tell the classic story of pocahontas, except it's nothing at all like the classic story of pocahontas!"
Not to mention they had talking canoes with legs. Just be glad those legged canoes are now extinct.
For the record, the reason the chief sounds familiar is because that's Jeff Bennett.
Also, Fluffy Wings is voiced by Cam Clarke, best known for roles like Donatello in the original TMNT cartoon and Liquid Snake from Metal Gear Solid.

I read around a bit and Cam Clarke is the one who voices Fluffy Wings (voice of Mac in Clifford and Freddy in Back at the Barnyard).
This film also seems to do a good job at awkwardly blending in historical accuracy with stereotypes: Chief Powhatan’s Plains-style headdress, for example, which the real tribe didn’t have, while most of the male braves have more-accurate outfits.
He also voiced Kageroza in Bleach apparently lol
Fun Chicken hawk facts;
The term actually refers to 3 different types of hawk which are big predator birds native to north america. However, the term lead to them being killed in fear of them attacking domestic livestock. While they *can* attack and consume Chicken, they prefer small mammals such as mice and rabbits. The term isn't used professionally anymore and is more of a local term to refer to birds of prey that could possibly attack pets and livestock. Also, they are usually large and red with spots.
Another fun fact, Chickens were not native to the Americas. So the hawk in the movie exclusively hunting chickens before the settlers even got there is an extra touch of no reasearch.
There. Now you actually got to learn a fact after that mind melting experience.
And we've all learned that a chicken hawk's cry goes, "Are ya comin' along quietly, or am I gonna hafta mush ya up?" ...(oops, wrong cartoon studio - Looney, that is!)

There it is: a '90s Disney film by '70s Hanna-Barbera.
Interestingly, I can't find a cast list for this movie anywhere. According to Phalous, though, the chief is voiced by Jeff Bennet, who's worked in tons of other stuff. He was Johnny Bravo, Mr. Smee from Peter Pan and The Joker to name a few of his more well-known roles.
Golden Films generally used a Los Angeles-based talent pool of voice actors. Cam Clarke, Debi Derryberry, Jeff Bennet, Rob Paulsen, Candi Milo, etc etc

@@sadikeewatson I guess the original uploader removed it. We can't really just upload the original movie without any commentary but normally we'd have it there. If you want the movie to watch it for your own enjoyment, you are definitely better off without it. Not a great film, lol.
I might be in the minority here, but I think the animation and designs were nice and good looking. However, it's frustrating the amount of time is spent with scenes and dialogues and jokes that do nothing to move the plot. Without the talking canoe and less time devoted to the birds, it could have been a much better film.
