Lizards I don't mind. Its the cockroaches I need to leave my house. The lizards I can safely catch and release out in the back yard to take care of reducing bug levels there. But cockroaches are useless as far as I know. So they need to either die or leave my house for good.

I found this myself Why glue traps are cruel I found two geckos on a glue trap both of them were dead one is rotten and another one looked like died a couple hours ago I pulled it out but it was too late I left the rotten one because I had no hand- protection so NO GLUE TRAPS ANY MORE!
Once they are inside I'm throwing the entire box away.. I am not opening it..

Sigh just watching this gave me anxiety. I don't see myself being able to move the box and release them. The whole reason I need to catch them is cuz they keep coming in the house but I have a phobia. Not sure I'm gonna be able to be as humane as you'd like unfortunately.

One gecko became trapped in a sink and could not get out for days, I think it sent message humans cannot hear to all other geckos to stay away from the house because I did not see any other geckos in the house while it is trapped and starving.

I just saved a house baby lizard droped from my celling wall ..I put some cool water on the body now start moving but I going to release in my house cause I don't know how or what to feed them I'm afraid they will die ..

Just one tip for thos who are still using glue traps. Pour vegetable oil on it afterwards.
great trap, but looks like you have to open it up, exposing yourself to those nasty buggers... is there a version or a way that kills them while inside the trap (for example a sticky glue trap inside the main trap so that it will be easier to kill & throw them out without having to risk them escaping)
I think you'd just have to throw away the box. Unless you have a friends who's not afraid and will release them somewhere for you.

These lizards are harmless, do not transmit disease, do not bite, eat cockroaches, spiders and other insects. I don't see any reason to want to take them out of the houses

they also roam on door handles, table, food, utensils, water purifier, taps, windows, bed, shoes, bulbs and what not. If there is any other animal except human I wish should not have existed it will be the damn lizards

😭 For some reason these lizards always end up dead, squashed between my door hinges. I won't notice it at night but when I wake up there'd be blood between my door & doorframe...
So disgusting. They don't smell so I always leave them to dry before scraping. I find it neater that way when they die squashed.

The trap doesn't work...geckos eat the smallest of flying insects...cookies and cake will only draw more roaches into your house...so if you want to catch roaches...
