Your basic Floyd County test. Hunter was with us for this test. They tested rather late and, as you can see, this thing scared the shit out of me. Enjoy!
Floyd County sirens are tested the first Saturday of each month at noon.

4j, you are uploading like crazy!
RIP Christian Bricking
Cause of Death: New Albany Sentry
Dang Christian, pretty dramatic on the windup there 🤣🤣🤣
That's why your suppose to wear hearing protection when your expecting it to go off.
@@Siren1000T1 honestly I wear hearing protection throughout the whole test.
I love how this siren takes the dual tone Hormann approach and makes a wavering tone by having one tone that is slightly lower than 5e other
no it has one tone and another tone 1 octave higher
@@dank980 No. That's what the 10v2T and 20v2T do. The 16v1T has two 8 port choppers that spin out of sync at different speeds, which is what causes the warbling.
@@ArxCyberwolfPC similar to hormann dual tone sirens, which created their signature warbleing tone
Awesome!
Hey I was watching one of your streams and there is sirens in Canada, I found an SRN, and a cold war model 5 in downsview park North York ON. On an old factory
there are a lot of sirens in canada actually,, there's 3 thunderbolt 1003s in sarnia
@@dank980 We also have 4 Modulators, a couple of Model 2s, a ton of ATI HPSS-32s, an inactive Alertronic AL-4000, and even an active 20/24 CLM nearby in Port Lambton. And that's all just in the Sarnia area. There's two active EOWS 612 sirens in Vaughan, Ontario.
go back to west virgnia and make more videos
there
Sounds a bit off tune
It uses 2 motors, and they spin at slightly different speeds. That causes the warble effect
@@windycitysirens I know that, this one just sounds like the 16 port chopper is spinning slightly faster than normal so it causes more of the warble effect
@@AndrewWT5020 This one doesn't have a 16 port side. its 8/8.
@@windycitysirens Oh, lol. Then one of the 8 ports is a little higher pitched than normal. You can hear one higher pitched and the other is a bit lower pitched at a normal 8 port. I have no idea why I said 16 port lol
@@AndrewWT5020 ...as i said, the motors run at different speeds
