Ofra will never be forgotten. Her voice was pure gold. God blessed her with so much talent.

Ofra Haza still kicks Shakira's butt even though she's been gone ten years, may she rest in peace. :)

What a great loss to our world.
Now she is back in heaven.

its VERY difficult to write songs today that do not remind you of other songs..and it is very possible Shakira was and is listening to Ofras songs..Afterall she is half Libaneese.
Its often people that are mixed blood, that do GREAT things, they combine the best of both cultures.
PEACE AND LOVE and ALWAYS MUSIC!

She left you lot of songs and interviews
to be connected with her as you wish.
    She is in good place.

If there is a heavenly after-life, she certainly deserves to be there. Ofra Haza left a world that is hurting badly, for the presence of angels.

    Well think about it, look at their patterns;
-Slow intro with a few notes
-Beat kicks in with exotic instrument playing
    -Verse melody part 1
    -Verse melody part 2
    -Bridge
    -Chorus with repeating melody
("Whenever, Wherever... Thereover, hereunder", "Show me... Tell me")
-Instrumental break staying within range of a few notes
    -Heavy drums
    -Repeat the above
That can apply to both songs.

Lovely video - I wish the TV companies would pull out Ofra's performances and publish them on DVD.
Can any body tell me about her backing singers ? I suspect that two of them are her nieces Ravit & Ofira Yosefi - if so, perhaps this was a family invitation performance.

Wonderful voices from God. Wish the sound quality would be better.

Anyone else notice how this song has a similar pattern to Shakira's Whenever, Wherever? W,W came after Show Me, and I'm not saying Shakira copied, I just find it kind of cool.

@deanfromromania The two are equal in my eye. I love them each a ton (and I've even combined them musically, check my profile). :)

You right about that, the voice quality
in this recording is poor.. I believe
you will find this song in better quality.
