Alex and Val go over the basics of MIDI. What is MIDI, where can it be deployed, and how can third-party devices that use MIDI integrate with A&H mixers.
I'm using SQ series in my install integrations (7 installs in last 18 months in a pro-grade venues). Midi Over TCP transmission from a 3rd part software is a well implemented feature! Love those boards!
Looking to control mute groups with air turn foot switch over blue tooth to QU pad app on IPAD. Thought this would be easy but I am new to it. Can't seem to find a you tube video or documentation on it. Basically just want to mute effects between songs while talking. Weather it be by soft keys controlling mute groups or simply just control mute groups. Any help would be awesome. Thanks
Hello Nate, You may control Mute groups through MIDI messages. For this, please follow the QU MIDI Protocol: www.allen-heath.com/media/Qu_MIDI_Protocol_V1.9.pdf Cheers, Rafael
