BluGyal it was probably the weird soap opera on tv and I was 9 when I first watched it. And I only watched it because my sister was super into it and would record it on vhs when she was in high school. I also don't even know how she heard about it. But funnily enough I got her into this is us and now she is obsessed with this show!
If you think about it passions was the predecessor to all the supernatural shows!!!

The last few episodes on Y & R Justin's acting totally changed, he was more excitable and moved quickly. Then when I saw him on ''This is us' and I saw him playing Justin I knew why. lol

Justin Hartley was a cool Green Arrow... But, Stephen Amell owns the role.

he's missing the humor i love from the comic book version, but the great thing is Amell's is still evolving. By the time the show ends he will probably be closer to the comic. Hartley was lucky he was able to start as the character fully formed and kinda got the chance to go backwards, as Ollie became darker within the show.
scott norwood the whole reason for not bringing back Justin Hartley was because they wanted more freedom to do with the character story wise from the continuity of Smallville. Without Arrow, we wouldn't have the Arrowverse which also gave us The Flash, Supergirl and Legends Of Tomorrow.
And besides, these characters aren't supposed to be played by just one actor. They're everlasting. They're for many generations of people to enjoy just like Batman, Superman or even James Bond.

I was so angry when Arrow first started and I heard that they hadn't cast Justin, but I finally gave it a chance a few years later, and now I can't imagine anyone else but Amell as Arrow. I agree the humor aspect is missing, but I guess DC on TV is also following the darker path, same as Cinematic DC. I like both, but in different ways
