Thanks Emily for describing how a Gentlemen should act. I sat an watched this video with my 15 year old son (I've watched it again prior to leaving this comment.) I have been trying to teach him manners and etiquette. He's just like any other 15 year old boy and he just laughs and says "girls don't really want that!" as I explained that a Gentleman always stands when a Lady enters a room or comes to a table and a Gentleman walks closest to the curb when walking along the pavement, (I'm British, Scottish :- Sidewalk) opens a door for a Lady to walk through first. But most of all, a Gentleman like Aaron constantly thinks about his wife and treats her with thoughtfulness, dignity and respect. Hearing it from you, he appreciated it more than hearing it from his silly old Dad. Thank you.
@@flyingsparksgarage, Thanks Emily for replying to my comment and you are absolutely right, Respect and Honour. I remember my Grandfather telling me in my when I was in my early teens, "Manners Maketh the Man and Manners cost not a Penny!" Perhaps I felt like they were outdated sentiments of a bygone era as a young teenager, but today I realise that they are the fabric that makes me the person who I am today. I try to live my life so that I can rest my head gently upon the pillow at night, knowing that I have done no harm and added to the lives of the people who I have met that day. Adding to the World, not taking from it. Thanks again. 😀👍✊✌
@@joseywales3789 I absolutely LOVE that sentiment!!!! I appreciate you taking the time to comment here, it means so much how we can all be connected like this!
You certainly have a gentleman for a husband and thankfully them old 7.3 trucks were tough and strong if not overly fast the new ones are certainly more comfortable, easier to drive and powerful.
When a man truly loves his woman there is almost nothing he won't do to keep her safe so I understand Aaron refusing to let Emily help him with the trailer repair.
Emily is AWESOME. She just jumps right in there and gets it done. Not afraid to get her hands dirty. AND she is always Bright, Cheerful, and Gorgeous :)
Fist time to watch your show My first car was a 57 Chevy 4 door hardtop Wanted a 2 door at the age of 15 but lawnmower money could only afford 100 dollar car so a 4 door it was, took me about 8 months to get it road worthy, So it was my high school car. And I have been in love with them ever since , so that go my attention for your show and now cannot wait to watch you two build something
That's going to be a great 1957.. Chevy car when it's done i am glad you went out and got a old car to work on people well love it and I no you guys can get it done thanks again
We’ve been together over 20 years now, we have both had many opportunities to see past shortcomings and forgive each other! It’s never easy but always worth it! Appreciate the kind words and encouragement!
We are grateful for you guy's! Your "can do attitude" is a life lesson every time you guy's make a production, thanks to you both, make it a great day, but more important be a blessing!
Man, that is a 57 Chevy goldmine. Wish I lived closer just for parts and accessories. What a find. Can't wait to see what you do with it. Hopefully you do an original restoration and not some retro mod restoration. It deserves to be all original.
I only wish y'all had met Dickie. He was a good man. I used to travel I 20 a lot. Always figured out a way to stop by and visit. He had a '56 that became a donor car for my wife's '55, at least for the interior. He even made a few Christmas gifts out of little goodies. Salt of the Earth...kinda like I would figure Aaron would be. I'm glad you got to bring home a few cars, including one of Dickie's babied '57s. Snooping about his place was quite the event. Every time. Miss him - thank you for showing him some respect. Those who knew him appreciate it. I do hope you had a chance to meet Linda. She and Dickie really complemented each other.
I have a camper trailer with a similar axle setup and the shackles tore on one side. My 13 year old grandson fabricated new shackles for me - we are in a small town - and they worked just fine!
as all the other followers I wish you a very very good job for the rebirth of those cars . The 57 remembers me a little of the 58 New Yorker sedan of my uncle that he brings with him after he left Washington for Geneva ; a very big surprise for us and the neighbours to see such a car in north of France at 1960's Christmas ; much more in summer 1961 for those of the little Britton village of my aunt ( next to I live by now )
I think of the three of you Finley is the only one with any real sense! Bracing myself for some really fun videos coming up. So glad your trip was safe and you made it home just fine. Thanks for Sharing!
No, Thank you for workin your butt's off to put out these awesum videos. Yes Aaron is the man and you deserve nothing less, Riveted to his cooking as much as you'all cooking up nice cars out of others discards. Lost art and your honesty in the builds helps us all. My favorite saying when teaching is "ask me how I know" LOL. Appreciate the well rounded content n family values, the "Kid" is adorable, GB the crew!!
OK, That did it! I had no choice but "Subscribe & Thumbs Up"! Thank you for sharing this awesome adventure. Can't wait to watch these builds and more! Keep the Sparks Flying!!
OMG. y'all have certainly got your hands full. I remember saying almost one year ago. Y'all were gonna need a larger shop.. well now you really do! looking forward to seeing these projects. enjoy!
Love that 57 210. Same 2 door model I drove in high school. I bought it for 125.00. It was sitting on blocks but after putting tires and wheels on it and a battery it lasted me all through high school in 68. Sold it after Uncle Sam sent me on an all expense paid vacation. That 57 is super sound as far as the body goes. Good find. New subscriber today. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Great find, first time to this channel and what a great team, and a joy to watch. I’m surprised you don’t have a million views with Emily’s great smile and cheerful attitude 😀😀👏👏👏 Great work you guys, and wish you the best. My wife and I have been a working team for the last 32 years👍👍👍 And they been the best 32 years of my life. Enjoy each other and your journey together ✌️✌️
Always go straight when you can on a car. If you x it, and lose one strap, you lose all control and the car will want to go sideways. Lose one with the straight, and the car will stay still and you still have control Bleepinjeep did a great video about it and demonstrated.
It brought tears to my eyes seeing all of those cars. It brought back great memories. We use to drag center street in them, if you blew an engine, you would take them out, go to the junk yard get another one, back in business. Thanks again. RC
Great video Emily...I've been a fan for awhile. I've turned into a real CZcams junkie watching guys and some of your fellow CZcamsrs. Really looking forward to seeing what you guys do with these cars... especially the 40 Ford👍
You guys are rad and I can't wait for this next adventure
The two of you are well suited. Impossible to find a woman that shares your interest.👍👍
Wow! That 57 is straight and solid!
It’s unheard of a woman that loves her man nowadays god bless you
AWESOME HISTORICAL SAVES KIDS. LUV U BOTH.

Thanks for the new video! A pleasure, as always.
I was not wondering about the trailer truck combos, I knew why it was that way. Yes he is the man!

More projects is a good thing as far as I'm concerned, that way I can watch more Flying Sparks Garage along with everyone else.
Its nice to see that things happen to other DIYs just like they happen to me and Arrin measures like I do with his finger.
Such a sweet couple! Glad you showed that the old Ford still got the job done even with bad sychros!!
Congrats. I agree that more door needs saving also
All three vehicles are awesome. Nice pick.

That shot of the nose of the 57 in the sunset at 31:35 was just too peaceful, almost felt like Dickie was smiling down know where his baby was headed.
Aaron, your the man 😎 awesome video guys.
`Must be the HAPPIEST couple on the planet.` ♥
That old OBS looks like it will be a great beater truck once the issues are all ironed out .
