Looking at Spider-Man Origin's description, the suit was made by one of the co-creator of the movie himself a year prior to the making of the film for halloween. Aside from the film being good, the description of the youtube video is super sweet because it shows you everyone that worked on it and it seems they were all really good friends working together to make something great
Swag 😎🤙
also the line he said to the cop was basically the same one in the 60s cartoon
You forgot Peter’s Web, the best fan series ever made
Did not forget, just haven’t seen the whole thing
FINALLY SOMEONE WHOS SEEN PETERS WEB. So underrated
Peter's web....that's a name I haven't heard in a very long time.
@@amazingpsmfinish it, it’s great
Agreed Peters Web was one of my favorites right next to Green Goblins Last Stand.
"I needed the shot." Literally the most Peter Parker response possible.
Dan Poole literally put his own life on the life just for some legit Spider-Man swinging scenes.
That man was goddamn DEDICATED.
Where was that kind of dedication for Spider-Man Lotus?
4 words: A friend called Spider-Man. This fan film isn’t action based at all, but it captures the essence of Spider-Man completely
I just watched it know and it was awesome.
The only part that really sucks TO ME PERSONALLY is the voice. He's got that weird dub Deku type inflections in his voice, really throws me off
I think it's charming that the lower budget films that probably took a few weeks or a month to make have more love put into them than the higher budget film which took a year to make
Have to consider a few things about this actually, the lower budget films have less money to use therefore less things to work with, therefore less work due to a general lack of resources to put into that work
Cannot wait for the comedic swearing that can make my days billion times better
Yeah me too
Spider-Man cake day has always been a favorite of mine, glad you decided to include it in your list
I love spider-man cake day
i thought that was cake day… or maybe he made a cake day suit
Cake day is eight minutes, lotus is TWO HOURS
Dude the green goblins last stand is one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen. The dedication to make this fan film that feels like you’re watching one of the early comics is amazing
Bro do you also keep singing the music in you head to.
@@40KWAR. maybe
@@xx_viveboi_xx4657 i mean the one that plays at the begining
The way bro was talking about swinging made me think they had to physically restrain this man from trying to get himself bit by a radioactive spider.
There’s one fan film that I used to watch as a kid, but can’t find it nowadays. It starts with Spider-Man driving a car and fighting someone in a parking garage/warehouse. I used to rewatch it almost everyday
Replying to this, hopefully someone will know what you're talking about
@@-Teague- I wish I could remember the title. It was so long ago
@@yungboitj yeah I hate when I forget stuff like that but maybe you'll come across it somehow! That's happened to me with a few childhood favorite cartoons I had forgotten recently
Bro I know EXACTLY what you're talking about, it's called "spider-man episode 1" by Joe Matisa
@@Jolanos yupppp, this is it. Man, the nostalgia is wild. Thank you!!
The reasons to why spider-man: cake day’s suit doesn’t look as good as it should is because Peter France (the director + suit maker) was making this for school, so he had a deadline. It was pretty much his first (and only) spider-man suit he’s made so there’s obviously a struggle to find out what looks good. The reason he couldn’t/ didn’t think to change aspects of the suit that didn’t look good (the eyes and logo) is because he already had the 3d model of Spider-Man and with the ~120 VFX shots he had to do, time was more of a concern over the suit.
I absolutely love how dark and brutal Spider-Man Eclipse is, the film gives me the amazing Spider-Man 2012 vibes and I really love how the suit looks in that film and it almost seems like it can be handcrafted by an actual teenager in reality and I love how the fabric almost looks stitched and how the mask looks in that film!
For me personally Spider-Man: Eclipse Is my number one favorite Spider-Man fan film if you love a more darker Spider-Man take
imo peter could have used spandex for his suit but other than that, the fan film is fire
Other than the lenses and lack of gloves, I adore the Eclipse suit. It’s so unique and rugged and believably homemade.
A little surprised “Truth in Journalism” wasn’t brought up. Remember hearing a while back that people wanted the guy who played Eddie in that to play Eddie in the Venom 2018 movie
I love that one. It's a huge nod to Man Bites Dog but with Eddie Brock lol. Bullseye cameo was also neat
That title is satisfying after listening to Cosmonaut Variety Hour throwing fan projects as a whole under the bus in his video.
tbh, I find that guy to be kind of a hack.
I never knew how much I wanted a Spider-Man horror film until watching the green goblins last stand. From the music, to the way it’s shot and the knowledge of the impending doom of Gwen Stacy all give off the feeling of dread and fear.
What I wanna know is if anybody remembers Peter's Web by Roger King. Best Spider-Man fan series that I had ever watched.
bro it was such a good film. I MISS IT
@@Spider-Drip Me too. I wished that they had made like a remastered version or something.
@@Spider-BearProductionsyeah fr
According to the description of "Spider-Man: Origin" on CZcams, the maker of the film himself made the costume, not a professional. He made it for Halloween, which is funny considering how amazing it turned out for a short film suit!
1969 Fan film and Peter's Web are also amazing fan-films they've primitive in effects, but you can sense there was love to the character in making them
Honourable mentions for Marvel Knights and Spider-man Panopticon.
Great video as always Kai
Miles Morales: Final Day was also pretty good. In fact, "A Centipede Returns to the Spiderverse" based most of its plot on that film's premise, while throwing in some ITSV and PS4 jokes, and also making fun of Tom Holland.
Plus, it was fun having Morlun and Ciem find out their universes are intangible to one another, so they're ghosts to each other. Thus forcing Candi to have to get clever just to land a hit. And thereby allowing Tom to figure out a workaround, and redeem himself for being so useless in the beginning.
There's some behind the scenes stuff for Spider-Man Cake Day that explains why Spider-Man costume's logos look so weird actually. I haven't watched it in a while, but if I remember correctly, the suit's logos broke off the suit in the middle of filming and they had to keep glueing it back. You can see the haste job in some shots too.
I like to think that cop is captain stacy and he just shaves his mustache sometime before Peter meets Gwen
If you didn't watch yet, please give a chance to Spider-Man: Panopticon. It's a brazilian Fan Film with english subtiles, also have a trailer in english dub. I really like how they apporach Spidey in this film 😃🕸
At least it's worth checking out the costume they made
@@rafaelmdss the costume they made is freaking awesome, the only thing i find bad, was the back logo of the suit, but aside of that, the suit is perfect
@@Pedro-uh6vj the only thing that bothers me is the white sole 😅
@@rafaelmdss oh yeah, it's kinda odd, but i didn't remember that detail 😅
green goblins last stand is my childhood so I'm glad it's here
Honestly I think the small spider logo on the Cake Day suit adds to the janky charm of the 60s cartoon and comic design
Danny Poole put his heart heart soul into Green Goblins Last Stand and it shows. Amazing fan film
This man doesn’t need an Oscar he needs a good Spider-Man movie
[MILD SPOILER WARNING FOR "The Green Goblin's Last Stand"]
I love Dan Poole's Spider-Man.
The film itself isn't the best by today's standards, but the acting unironically is really good. Hearing the pure visceral rage Spidey had while shouting at the Green Goblin at 41:18 in the film gave me goosebumps.
And of course, Dan Poole being batshit insane and actually swinging from buildings.
HELL YEAH!!!! I absolutely loved Spider-Man: Eclipse
I really loved how it had a more of a darker tone and how the suit looks stitched and everything about the film looks absolutely cool!
tells you that aunt may teached him how to stitch clothes or he had to negotiate into her making it for him and he's poor
Not sure if this one counts, but Spider-Man Noir Concept by Ruben Maldonado has incredible fight choreography utilizing enemy firearms and his webs. Masterclass of Spidey fight filmmaking.
I am trying so hard to make a fan film, and watching examples of great ones has really helped me out, and the script is getting even better!
The best live action Spider-Man suit is in a Brazilian fan film called " Homem-Aranha panóptico" . Really worth a watch
I like how the suit is Alex Ross inspired too
He has got to mention Peter's Web in this
Dan Pool deserves to be the next Spider-Man in something like the Sony movies at least. The stuff he did to get that movie made as perfect as it was were insane, and he worked tirelessly on it. He inspired a lot of shots from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movie, and even did some things that film did before it.
We can never forget Roger King's fan film series: Peter's Web. Real ones know what I'm talking bout ♥️
Bro they have Spider-Man cake day and Spider-Man eclipse in the thumbnail i love those short fan films back then
One film I highly recommend is Viva Spider-Man, a fan film from the 80’s that adapts the style of the 60’s animated show to an absurd level of quality. It was made by a guy who would later write for the 90’s animated show!
I love how in climax's of Spider-Man Origin uses the trailer music from Darkman, it's like they knew that Raimi was gonna direct Spider-Man 1 a decade after.
yo kai your my goat , thank you for your passion and love for peter and spidey as a whole man you really do justice for us die hard fans when it comes to content .
8:48 “Promise” from Silent Hill 2’s excellent soundtrack. Love it when people use this theme (or any theme from Silent Hill).
I love green goblins last stand omg. Everything is just amazing
i love how consistently violent the hand always comes off in the non comic book media they’re in. they were cookin up daredevil and elektra somethin fierce in the netflix show😮💨
Your output lately has been really solid, keep it up!
There’s also an incredible Spider Man Noir Concept short that has some of the most insane and inventive fight scenes I’ve ever scene for Spider Man, a must watch
This one of the reasons I made a playlist of some awesome Spider-Man fan films.
Yo me too
imo the spider-man eclipse suit is dope asf, it actually looks like what a teenager would make with a small amount of money instead of the millions of dollars worth of the suits on the big screen
This is the best spider man CZcamsr I could find keep up the good work Kai
Ok i agree but one thing, It's not spider man, it's Spider-Man
Spiderman cake just reminds of the one scene in ATSV with Miles and the two cakes.
Seeing reminds me of a old fan film I saw, I don't remember the name, but it revolves around Peter's death when fighting the Green Goblin. The one thing I really remember about it was someone editing a song that went "I will not die, im waiting for you."
I love Spider-Man Eclipse when it first came out and i’m still revisiting it till today
You geeking out about the suits gives off Wakana Gojou vibes, I love it
Thank you for making this list. I knew only of one of these.
You forgot "A friend called Spider-Man"
Yeah dude. I’ve seen green goblins last stand like twice after I found it three years ago and it’s so amazing to see
The goblins last stand still holds up even after 30 years.
I strongly recommend the Brazilian fan film "Spider-Man: Panoptic" even though it is not in English, it has English subtitles available ❤
One I really recommend that I don’t see here is Viva Spider-Man from 1989. It’s a fun live action adaptation of 2 episodes of the weird era in the 60s series. The creator even went on to work on the 90s Animated Series!
Hopefully Peter's Web is in this video 🔥
Oh no guys its not in the description credits
DAMN
Shit.
Don't forget "Peter's Web". a great short fan-made series.
A fellow Spidey fan! Subbed! 🎉
Six Side Studios made some pretty good fan films back in the day from what I remember
Dude I just watched spider man cake day of whatever it's called and it's the best freaking thing I've seen
Given how this popped into my recommended and I have no prior knowledge about this channel, I just have to assume this is the real Spider-Man endorsing some of his favorite fan films.
Who needs “I missed the part where that’s my problem” when we got “Sorry pal, that’s your job. From now on I’m looking out for number one, and that means me. I’m done being pushed around!”
Bro Spider-Man Eclipse was my first ever experience with a more serious Spider-Man story
The guy that needed the shot I’d the pinnacle of badassery😭
peter’s web slapped
I love all of those (never watched the origin one but it seems cool)
adding one from after this vids release. It's called Web of Spider-Man. The suit looks like a scarlet spider suit with a raimi mask. And the final suit is PEAK. Season 2's teaser came out today
Anyone else remember Jesse Simeca’s Marvel Knights Spider-Man fan film? I remember seeing the trailers when they came out years ago and being hyped. Holds up surprisingly well, though it’s obviously not perfect.
The reason Lotus is probably the first Spider-Man 'fan' film people think of is because of all the hype and advertising it got. Most fan films of Spider-Man are just posted on the internet for people to enjoy and that's it. Meanwhile, Lotus got mentioned around the internet, had a fundraiser, had a huge following and had a lot of trailers to keep building up the hype. Even my own friends were talking about it.
This might be the best suit you wore in your videos!
There's two upcoming ones, the amazing mary jane, and spider gwen the last dance
Goblins Last Stand is the crazyest, coolest movie about a superhero i saw till today bro, the swinging is exactly how it whould be in real life, it's stunning to watch. It looks better than todays movies
13:31 The burglar was so knocked out that he had to blink a couple times LMAO
Thank you for bringing the important message that, despite what went down with Lotus, Spider-Man fan films can be & HAVE been so much more, born out of nothing but love for this amazing character (& also that Corridor Crew needs to stop the AI shit, like SERIOUSLY! It's just sad at this point).
Another one I'd like to bring up is Viva Spider-Man, an 80s fan film that brings the 60s cartoon to life, down to recreating it's low budget animation & Ralph Bakshi's unique visual style. It even has a really great Kingpin, so y'know, overall pretty good stuff (& apparently the filmmaker went on to work on the 90s animated series, so that's awesome).
All great info
No, it's not sad, it's impressive. Too impressive for your mind to handle.
@@worthybutter2004 oh no, mad that someone's insulted your precious AI?
@@-Teague- Who's Al? Is he a friend? Or character in Spider-Man?
We need peter's web!
Hell yeah!!! That's what I'm saying.
I love peter's web
One of my favourite Spider-Man fan films that I definitely recommend if you ever do a part 2 to this video is definitely Marvel Knights: Spider-Man by Jesse Scimeca
Bro you’re suit is beautiful 😩🔥🔥🔥🔥🕸️
One that I like is viva spider-man (I think that’s what it’s called.) it was a live action adaptation of 2 episodes of the 1967 cartoon made in the 80s by people who would eventually work on the 1994 show.
We are still waiting for the suit tutorial Kai
Cake day looks good, I’ll check that out. But I’m begging for a cosplay tutorial so I have time to make it before Halloween please! But also great video lol, I’m a big fan and this comment was mostly a joke so no actual pressure.
Bro why when i said damn on this good spider man suit u said damn to at the exact perfect time😂
You forgot Spider-man Panopticon.
You should watch “A Friend Called Spider-Man”. It’s a very small, but impactful Spider-Man film
The suit in that last one, dang that’s impressive
You have to watch " homem aranha : panóptico" . It's a Brazilian Spider-Man fan film . It's just perfect
You just earned a sub
You’re the Spider-Man CZcams society needs.
Dude, you should totally check out Spider-Man Panopticon, it's a short brazilian fan-feature about Peter overcoming his faults and standing tall to fight for the people around Peter Parker and Spider-Man
You should do a video on the best spiderman, the lego spiderman from customlegominifigure
There's a Brazilian fan film callded, spider man panoptico, it's amazing
Are you posting weekly or sm now?
To be fair to Spider-Man cake, the suit looks like Peter could’ve actually made it
I'm gonna click Notify Me despite the fact that i'll be at school by the time that this premieres
@@NoobySquad547 no you're thinking about the other guy
"Forget that CGI Sh**. That Sh** ain't real jet. It's time to hop on cars and swing from ropes for real, Baby!" -Kai (Amazing PSM) 2023
I dont know if its here but there was also a miles morales fan film about like 20 minutes long, takes place during the tobey maguire universe, it was actually kinda good, short but sweet.
My question: what are your thoughts and opinions on spider-man villain: lorina dodson/white rabbit?
