Today we continue in Dungeon Clawler and finally go for a full plastic build - that means nothing else but Plastic items, at least until we get to remove all of them at a reasonable time. For this we use Felina again, the wild catlady, as she already starts with 5 plastic items that we can use in combination with the Recycling Bin, an item that hoovers up all plastic items around it to increase it's own damage.

Next time you do a plastic run, go crazy on the stressballs. If you can grab one and make five more, they'll either go in the bin, or land where you can grab them and make more.
they don't make more of themselves, the spiky stressball makes stressball spikes (different item) but I think it's still plastic so yea it would be good. I imagine this item is also good in any sort of build where you gain stats on being hit

With how many people kept telling Dex how great Recycling Bin can be, I was looking forward to finally seeing this!
And that he wrongfully tried to get it as an first-get run defining item doesn't surprise me at all.
The five stress ball spikes will just get eaten by the recycling bin.

I think one way of making the Recycling Bin build pretty solid is to have a mix of items, where the plastic stuff is mostly filler and the recycling bins are there to just get rid of it. Then you have non-plastic items that provide utility and damage, which will be mostly free to pick up due to fewer items being dropped in general.

Can't help but wonder how strong of a build would 10-20 recycle bins be.
I mean, they will all suck in each other, but you will get all back (except 1) every time, and it seems they tend to remember their bonus before they were pulled into a recycling bin, so this would stack high really fast.
It's moments like 17:38 - 18:00 that remind me why I subscribed and make me thankful I branched out from your Vampire Survivor content.

For showcase purposes, it's honestly easier to mod or cheat in an item to skip the search period. All it really does is save you a lot of time and frustration.

16:30 - Pin Cushion: every time you take damage an item drops. possibly onto the recycling bin.
There should be a game mode where you can choose two starting items (instead of the basic dagger and shield), for exactly this sort of experimenting.

Haha yeah definitely something weird going on with the spawning of recycling bins when there's multiple. I am also pretty sure every time a second one spawns while there's already one in the machine, the spawning one starts out at the same damage level as the other. But at first it seemed like maybe there's more to it than that for the 3rd spawned recycle bin. It seemed like maybe they were spawning in with the total number of plastic collected by the other previously spawned recycle bins. Which holds up for the 26:05 interactions. But then the next game given that assumption, the 3rd one should've been at 231 damage based on the 7 plastic that it picked up while spawning, plus the 16 total plastic consumed by the other two... but instead it had 191 damage. So now I'm pretty sure even the 3rd spawned recycle bin really is just spawning with the same damage as the currently spawned recycle bin damage and it's just picking up truckloads of plastic in a single frame, before the graphics are even drawn and even able to be seen. Or maybe something else 😛
I gave this one a like when the pachinko machine gave you the recycling bin. This game really wanted to mess with you.
I also think that:
- fragile items eaten by a bin can still respawn
- bins that get eaten by bins still retrain their value
I was offered the recycle bin for the first time at floor 48 yesterday.
imagine a recycling bin only run so the recycling bin eats like 20 others then they get dropped back in next time

I usually try avoiding it (except for in German), but here I it caught me completely off guard to get the recycle bin. Like, in a bad way, the 2 hours of just resetting the first fight and never getting one flying through my mind :'D

multiple seringes/credit cards dont work that well as they dont add the damage to the other items
Get twenty recycle bins and plastic shields that way when it first drops it'll be max damage recycle bins because they're cannibalistic...

Stressball is godsend with recycling pin. You need a lot of plastic to be collected and stressball give you unlimited plastic and it can never covered up the bin due to being collected.
My issue with Stressball was mainly that even if it works, I first have to pick it up. I'd much rather end the fight before the enemies get to attack, as in getting something reliable going.

Why do you pronounce so as zo? So weird.
For me there is no difference, it's a "so" to me. In German we have a very strong pronounciation on the "Z". Think of S, then think of "TS" like in Tsunami and apply that difference again, that's our Z. The soft S English has doesn't exist for us
