- the battery model or type is 14500 you can search online, and its a 3.7v
rechargeable battery my type is with 900mah,maybe you wil find with higher capacity i dont know, for me its very practical gadget and maybe most ised. - Jak na to + styl
That walkman is funny, I have one from the 80's still working but does not have that feature 🙂 Appreciate the video. Yes, 14500 cells are a way to go provided the devices support it. Most modern LED flash lights support it, although they do not advertise. Most flashlights are made in the same factory anyways, with a single or 2 sources of LED lamps.
Very well explained, thx for that and stay good and creative
I love these batteries, lots of the good AA LED torches are compatible with 14500.
Please check with manufacturer first though !!!
BC457 + two 1k resistors.
Lower 3.7v battery voltage.
You will learn.
:)
I like your channel.
Thank you
they have lipo4 3.3v AA's now, about 1.5$ each. i think better for replacing alkaline because of closer voltages and also maybe more durable to overdischarge since there is no protecetion, i think random devices will keep pulling juice from lipol batteries.... especially since 3.7v looks like fully charged AA the low battery sign will not warn you. maybe this is a bit better with lipo4? i think the capcaity is about the same but i dont know how to charge lipo4 without a power supply...
You need to charge with current limiter and have adjustable power supply
@@Hacktuber hmm i bet in a pinch i could use an automotive lead acid charger and just put 4x lifepo in series, charge on the lowest setting up to about 14.8v total and reconnect them all in parellel to balance. repeat a couple times and they should be close to topped off. usually the lowest setting on automotive chargers is ~3A for maintainer setting. 3/4 is under 1A each cell
I Use The 14500...18350..18500.. A LOT Of 18650's ... & A Few 26650 & 21700
Very nice. Didn't even think about making dummy batteries.
İ charged my 14500 with intellicharger newi2 and now 4.15 volt are there any problem?
no
What is the benefit of using this instead of 2x rechargeable AA which are half the price and much higher capacity? (ex 2450 mah)
also my question, what is the benefit?
@@bro_leo Thank you for taking the time and answering my question i n detail. Now i know :)
Bro_leo could you also mention discharge rate and internal resistance
The voltage is the only benefit. Some devices will cut out if the voltage drops to 2.5 or 2Vdc and not fully use the battery charge.
The issue with lithium battery is the min. low voltage safety. When a lithium ion battery goes bellow 3v the risk of permanent damage increases.
Good video 👍
