@WatchMojo can you plz make another total drama video
I hurt my leg playing basketball onece
The worst for me was trying to ride a bicycle, someone shoved me and I nearly fell into the sewers. My knees were scraped so bad...
@@Sugerloadedgirl789 I'm glad you are ok
Nominating Klitschko Vs Lewis, Holyfield Vs Rahman for the fighting video.
Knew as soon as I read the title Malarchuk would be #1. There was a massive red pool below him before the camera could even cut away. The fact that he was in form to play within 2 weeks is absolutely amazing
The quick thinking of the medical staff on the ice saved his life. One trainer was pinching the artery to prevent him from losing more blood. He had to hold it as they walked him off the rink and out to the ambulance.
Yea, that was a no brainer. I remember that incident. People in the crowd were fainting understandably
Not to mention the massive trail of blood
I would recommend his book A matter of inches. It's a fantastic read!
I can’t even watch that! It’s so horrifying. It’s a miracle he survived.
My worst injury was being hit in the face with a cricket ball that had just been smashed at me. Broke my eye socket, cheek, nose and lost 3 teeth. Even worse, we lost
Dang, are you ok?
I’ve never heard of a broken eye
@@user-wc1xh8lr8i your orbit is the bone that where the eye is in
eye socket, not eye@@user-wc1xh8lr8i
As someone who plays cricket I can’t imagine not playing and I feel the pain of loosing hope your alright now sending all the love
WWE deserves to have it's own list of bloodiest moments on this CZcams channel. :'D
It may be fake but they really do bleed.
Absolutely correct. Wrestling deserves its own lost since it is not a sport.
If Malarchuk isnt number 1 this list is a sham
Edit: good list
I witnessed the Kevin Ware accident - routine jump shot, nobody landed under his feet, his shin just... snapped. It was horrific, and it happened right in front of his team's bench. Players were crying, people in the stands fainted, and even the refs were shaken up. He had been complaining about shin splints during the March Madness tournament, so that's a good lesson to not ignore your body. Glad he recovered.
The worst accident in sports I've witnessed live though was Ryan Shazier during Monday Night Football. Bloodless, but he tried to tackle someone with a spear tackle, and the impact landed on the crown of his helmet, temporarily paralyzing him from the waist down. It was a somber day, and it has stayed with me ever since. He's a medical miracle that they've managed to restore part of his motor function, but he never played again after that hit. Same feeling of dread when Damar Hamlin dropped due to an impact to his sternum causing his heart to stop. Even the injuries you can't see are pretty horrifying, and a reminder of how dangerous these sports can be.
I still remember seeing Ware's teammates freak out, and I saw them react on TV before I saw what happened.
He was on defense
my brother used his leg as a profile picture for years
Worst I can think of is Alex Zanardi's crash in 2001 in Germany. He spun on cold tires coming out of the pits and came across the track being t-boned by another car going 200mph. His legs were instantly amputated. He amazingly survived the crash and later won medals in the paralympics in hand bike.
WWE deserves it's own list as well
Did Undertaker retire?
if they were gonna put just 1 WWE example on the list how is it anything other than Eddie Guerrero vs JBL at Judgement Day?
It deserves at least a top 20
@michaelmitmoen2754 I was really hoping it would be in here. I'm surprised it's not in the list 😢
I was about to write that
IIRC, Clint Malarchuck’s injury was so bad the PA announcer asked if there was a priest in the building. THAT is how serious his injury was.
The part with the hockey player feeling bad about what happened and then getting asked by some dumbass reporter about how he feels - great moment.
I remember thatgame where Clint Malarchuck was hurt. There was so much blood and it was gushing out so fast. I'm amazed, and relieved that he survived.
CM Punk vs. Big Daddy V (2007) and Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker (Hell in a Cell 2003) are two of the most bloodiest moments in WWE history.
Not the most but definitely top 10 .
Eddie Guerrero vs JBL and Cena vs JBL are worse imo
One thing I have always hated about wrestling is how fake it is. However I gotta admit they are all some of the best athletes in professional sports!!
@@AlanTClark I never cared that it was fake after I learned it. Its a performance, story telling with words and actions like a play, but in and around the ring instead of a stage.
@@dragonrana88
It's a soap opera for men lol.
Eddie Guerrero vs JBL at Judgment Day 2004 should have been on the list more than Lesnar/Taker. That shit was insane and far bloodier.
Personally I think that HIAC match would barely make a WWE top ten. Eddie bladed too deep. went into shock after the match backstage. The year after on the same PPV, Cena bled so much vs JBL too.
What about Joey Mercury’s injury in that ladder match with the Hardys
Awesome list love the sports lists 👌 keep it up thanks
I never gets bored of your contents ❤
The Malarchuck story would have been different if he was playing at the other end from the team bench. That’s how little time he had between life and death.
Exactly right
You forgot the hungarian weightlifter, Gregg Louganis and the georgian luge accidents 😮
Luv ur videos!
Nice list, guys from WatchMojo. Huge chilean fan. 🤝🇨🇱
I guess only non-fatal incidents made the list. There is a video of a pro-skier catching the fence at high speed and tumbling back on the track. The impact practically ripped his leg out and he put a huge red smear on the track. Poor guy but at least he died doing what he loved
Crazy how both incidents In the NHL involved the Buffalo Sabres
my worst injury was from aggresive inline skating ( using rollerblades at a skatepark for anyone that doesnt know) (got a few actually) i went to hit the spine transfer and messed my landing up, leaning too far backwards, landed with my ass at the bottom of the ramp and my hands out behind me caught the top, i ripped a muscle in my stomach and jolted my spine up a little bit, i couldnt breathe for a littler while as I'd also winded myself quite badly
Johnny Hoogerland's crash both shocked and enraged the Dutch public. Shocked at his crash and enraged at the car who did it
For the record, yes. I'm Dutch myself and it made headlines
Very epic 🔥
I'm surprised Billy Monger's horrorific accident isn't on this list. He ended up having both his legs amputated.
The worst injury I sustained in sports was during a baseball game. The hitter struck a potential home run so I jumped up at the wall to catch it, but the ball struck my head and decapitated me. You can see footage of it in the movie Naked Gun.
Tf
How awful for you 😢
Full throttle the 2000 sequel is the superior film. Please do that one too😊
My worst sport injury came from a golfing incident when I was a kid. I was playing with a neighborhood friend and I didn’t realize how close I was to his swing. I got hit straight in the face by the rebound in between my nose and left eye with a 9 iron. In a minute my white towel turned red cause of how much blood I was losing. Got 8 stitches that are covered by my glasses. Doc said I was very lucky tho, more to the right my nose would’ve been broken but more to the left I would be wearing an eye patch for the rest of my life.
I broke my neck playing football my sophomore year. Crushing my 3rd through 6th vertebrae. Lost use of my right arm plus nerve damage. In the end I was blessed to make a full recovery.
When I played baseball (I’m 15 now) when I was 13 I was running to first base to run out a ground ball and I landed awkwardly on the bag and tore my ACL, MCL, and shattered my knee into 2 pieces.
Steve Austin Vs. Brett Hart wants to say "HI"
Thanks for making this list rated G
Lol
I live in a city with a minor league hockey team. Our goalie got their neck sliced open one game as well. The blood that hit the ice was so fast! It was insane! He ended up out for quite a while!
No way! The first clip I see is Taker vs Brock? Let’s go! 🤣
I can't believe Terry Butcher's head injury from the Sweden vs England match in 1989 didn't make this list, it was definitely bloodier than the other soccer injuries shown here. He started the game wearing a white shirt, and ended it wearing a red one!
I figured Malarchuk would be first, especially as a hockey fan. What happened to him was horrific. It’s a miracle he survived. Thank goodness neck guards were implemented into the NHL.
This list is really bloodiest moments and scary 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
And this is why we don't wear jewelry in sports. They can be hazardous.
For more detail about Kevin Ware, his bone was sticking out of his skin.
man, say the guy's name watchmojo.
Jim Pizzutelli.
A veteran and a hero that saved Clint Malarchuk's life.
Jim Pizzutelli.
God Bless Jim Pizzutelli.
Gernot Reinstadler. Austrian ski racer who crashed during the race, nearly ripping his legs of. In the recordings, you can see the trail of blood behind him while sliding down the course.
He died later in the hospital because of the bloodloss, even with getting much blood transfusion.
A 10 Bloodiest Moments in Sports History list and.... we don't even see it, we just hear about it?? Thanks, Watchmojo.
I knew Zednik’s injury would be on here.
Safety to censored the most accident in this video.
Amazing how with a video like 10 bloodiest moments in sports, WatchMojo manages to edit out all the actual blood showing in these clips.
Also, we got Kevin Ware but no Joe Theismann or Alex Smith.
Those didn't involve blood, just gruesome bone breaks. If they had gone through the skin and started bleeding profusely, I'm sure they'd have been on the list.
@@eyechartny Well, Smith did also have a compound fracture (that's what they call it when the bone breaks through the skin) just like Ware did. Not sure about Theismann. Edit: Looked it up, yes he did.
Bloodiest Moments in Sports history but we're not going to show you one drop of blood
Trying out for my 7th grade track team, I found out I could dislocate my knee caps without pain. I was later diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome in high school.
Decent video
That thumbnail's crazy
If you're including all sport-related incidents, then the Munich massacre is worse than all of these put together.
One that you missed from pro wrestling would be Sabu vs Terry Funk in ECW.
Is this video showing us to be careful when doing any kind of sports? Is there a safety inspection for these sports events?
Anything to do with blood that includes pro wrestling should be number one number one.
No cricket? I mean how can you? It too has some bloody gruesome moments and even deaths.
Can you do comic book origin of DC Artemis_Crock, Cheshire, Sports master and Tigress?
Thank GOD HE WAS ALRIGHT
For me. 2008 in a bicycle race, got crashed into the steel barricades lining the course. Ripped the right side of my face from just below my right eye to just pass the right ear. Took 100 stitches to put my face back together. The doctor told me the only reason I didn't lose my was because of the sunglasses I was wearing.
The story of the guy who lost a finger is so sad
IDK why, but I thought you were gonna add Brock VS. Cody Roads from last night.
Broke my wrist playing soccer practice but I still practice with a broken wrist until the end of practice went to ER.
dislocated my kneecap in football as a kid. lots of screaming. no more football.
I don't play any sports but I've been hit by a car twice. The first time I had to get stitches by my left eye. The second time I had to get medical staples in the top of my head. I also twisted my leg pretty bad, too.
Worst injury that I had is when I was with my friends and we were little we all hopped in a little rc car then ride it then after I tried clicking the brakes it did not work because we were all on it and BOOM! We crashed into the gates and I was so bloody because I was sitting at the front of the car and my friends got some injurys to but not as bad as mine and my friends was just in complete shock. Then I had too get bandages all over me I was just in shock at that moment and I could not move / if you read this your amazing lol
How did you know how amazing I am 😉
I have a fear of softballs among anything else flying at my face as when I was little it was fall and cold and we were throwing balls in tball to catch for practice... I was throwing and catching with a coach... it hit my ear really hard and like i said it was cold... that hurt. And then when I was a bit older in middle school I got smacked in the forehead with a frisbee from like 7 feet away it hurt soooooo badly and I had a huuuuuge bump
I felt pain for them😂
WWE needs a list on its own accord
An honourable mention for this list would be the minor league goaltender (I think it was OHL in Canada) whose thigh was cut by a skate and began bleeding profusely on the ice. I saw the video after news came out about the incident. It was really graphic and hard to watch.
Worst injury I’ve ever sustained is a broken tailbone while playing hockey, I still finished the game and then the tournament tho😎
The Undertaker was literally squirting blood out of his face onto the camera lens. It was brutal
Two words: DAVID BUSST
My friend was at the game where Malarchuck got hurt he said it was crazy.
The 1972 Munich masacre at the Olympic games
You picked Lesnar vs the Understaker? JBL vs Eddie Gurrerro is so much bloodier. Not to mention the legendary Great Muta vs Hiroshi Hase. Even the Joey Mercury ladder accident is worse.
My worst sports injury was a for fun soccer game before my mom’s 40th birthday party. I ended up taking a kick to the chest with the ball between my chest and the other team’s player’s foot. Caused a burst in my airway/lunge that then leaked air behind my trachea essentially Darth Vader force choking me as I struggled to breathe. Worst feeling ever and my mom spent the day with me at the ER which they prepared for either the air to dissipate or they’d have to poke a hole in my throat for air to escape and manually close the hole in my airway. I ended up being ok after a while but that shit was beyond scary I was like 16 at the time
I was at the Zednik game
Wow 2 to the throat. That's terrible.
You guys should’ve added the judgement day 2004 match between Eddie Guerrero and JBL Eddie literally bled so much of his own blood in that match
wrestling has the advantage. Eddies blood work was ruthless
Thank For The Video 🙊🤯🥰💕😍👍# Viewers s Descretion Is Advice 🥰💕
How about the Marachel-Roseboro bat incident in 1965?
Least bloody bloodiest moments ever
💀
I thought the WWE fights were fake. Wow I had no idea that they can get injured for real
Scripted is a more accurate term for WWE, it still can hurt and lots of the moves have VERY LITTLE margin for error.
My worst injurie was when I’m as playing a football match and someone stamped on my hand and cut it open and broke it
Neymars injury vs Atletico Madrid was pretty bad and he still kept playing
worst i saw live was Jusef Nurkic breaking his leg
I was at school today and someone just ripped 2 giant pieces of skin off their arm and everyone in the whole school saw their bones gutd and veins covered in blood
The guy who had his neck cut he was rude on the interview when the interviewer asked how scary it was from a scale of 1-10
Alex Zanardi 2001... lost both of his legs in a racing crash.
Yikes
They gotta hurt.
DOCTOR!
Is it just me or is anyone else totally disappointed that we didn't get to see any gore? I really miss my job as a nurse in Accident and Emergency
I thought number 1 would be that guy that ripped his urethra open while skiing..
what is their name?
I feel bad for the players.
What about that one where all the people climbed a building to watch a soccer game and it collapsed and people fell into glass furnaces below and burned alive. Mr ballen has a good video about it
If they wanted to include a pro wrestling then should have talked about the match between Eddie Guerrero and JBL now that was bloody
The thumbnails tho
My worst injurie was a crack in my little finger. i was training football as a goalkeeper and my little brother shot and it hit my finger.
Alan shearer bloodied his head during an Easter 2003 match when toon played villa
I was expecting to see more detail of the injuries in this video. How disappointing
If you ever played competitive sports in your life, ice hockey, then football but lacrosse is close especially when the playoffs begin
My worst injury was in football when I jumped for the ball got it but got hit into my teams bench
