      I've wondered the same thing but I think it's quite hardy so you'll get pretty good long-term use with the blade that came with the clipper. And given the affordability, I'm guessing it's a use-and-throw after it gets blunt.

    so the xiaomi works better then ur other hair trimmer? i think there is another model.. hummingbird

    • @FunWithSons
      @FunWithSons  Před 4 lety +1

      All three hair clippers are quite different. The MAG feels solid and is a plug-in hair clipper. But hair always gets stuck and it loses speed when it does, which is very often - like a few times during a haircut. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think if the MAG worked consistently, I probably wouldn’t have felt the desperate need to get another hair clipper.
      The Angry Birds clipper started off working very well. And weighs a lot like the Boost but is more ergonomic. They’re easier to compare. I think the Angry Birds hair trimmer’s comb catches hair best comparatively. But the slide comb in the Boost was just irresistible to me - that’s why I got it. Haha.
      At the end of the day, I think the ENCHEN Boost is a dependable product that simply works. Plus point is it doesn’t weigh a tonne and doesn’t buzz to the point my hand gets numb. The MAG does that. 😅 I also believe the battery won’t die on me quite as quickly as the Angry Birds hair clipper because Xiaomi products tend to last beyond worth.
      And yes!! I read about the Hummingbird. It looks a lot more ergonomic but it’s slightly more expensive and the combs are detachable, I believe. I was tempted to get that, too!

      Gosh, I don’t know actually. I didn’t get those. The XIAOMI Enchen Boost is definitely an entry-level hair clipper that’s cheap and easy to use. But the Sharp 3S seems to be marketed as a higher-range product. If price is not a factor, I think this Sharp 3S hair clipper is fab based on what I read. Go for it!
