I liked and enjoyed watching this video. You've added a personal touch by including your son in this video. I wish good things for you and your son.
Thank you so much! All the best to you and yours, too!
That's called USB-C, the stuff you thought looked like Lightening Port. And its pretty common these days.
Thank you! So I've been told! Haha.

As someone who can’t read Chinese, I feel your pain! You can activate the “boost” mode by holding the power button while the clipper is on. Hope this helps!
I tried that but it doesn’t work somehow. 😩 My clipper just turns off.
that works for mine. while it is running hold the power button for a few seconds (less than 5)

I have cut myself with this trimmer and it very easy and safe to control, it's also comfortable to handle as it has simple shape and high quality material.
Checking reviews for this hair clipper and you nailed it! Very informative! 💐 planning on buying already. Affordable and looks easy to use for a beginner like me.
That’s good to hear! Glad you liked the review. Haha. It’s definitely an easy and affordable way to begin clipping hair at home. 💇♂️

That was actually very helpful. Thanks.
Glad it helped!
Great video, Thanks! And your son is such a cutie pie!
Haha. Thank you! 🥰
My Enchen sharp 3s charging light is blinking when i put it ti charge.... red light.... is it normal? i was wondering if it's some kind of warning.....Please help
Hmmm. That's odd. I've never encountered a red light. Always blinking white light when charging.
It's possible to cute 2, 4 or 5mm for example? How can I put it on? On the back of Enchen Boost only appears, 3,6,9,12,15,18 or 21mm.
Ooo good question. I don't think so. But then again, the difference is pretty minute, don't you think?
@@FunWithSons The difference is really minimal, but on the sides. I usually start cutting with 2mm and increase 3, 4, 5mm and at the top I use 6mm.
Hey! It was a great video! Keep up the great work and best of luck for the future!
Thanks! Glad you liked it. And all the best to you, too! Stay safe!
thanks for the detailed review! when you said your old clipper wasn't holding its charge i felt validated hahaha - me not imagining things then. this clipper looks good, gonna get it! thanks again!
Glad it was helpful! Hope you're enjoying your new clipper now!
i recently buy this clipper its very cute. thanks for this vid help me alot on the item i cant read it. new subscriber from Philippines
No problem! Glad to be of help. Although I can’t read mandarin, too. Haha. 😂 And thanks for subscribing!! 🤗
Thanks for this video!!! Now i know how to clean it!!!!
Glad it helped!! 😁
Nice review. It doesn't cut Size 1 and Size 2 ?
type - c port for charging.... that's awesome
Yes so I’ve been told! Haha. Such a noob. 😅
I want to trim moustache for that it's require 1mm clipper but this trimmer doesn't have only 3mm available now is there's any optional option to use 1mm on this trimmer?
You can use this without the blade guard, the result is 0,7 mm. I use this to trim my beard
If you remove the guard, it'll be shorter than 1mm and offers a really close cut. I use it on my sons and so far, even with their wriggling, we haven't had any accidents!
Any idea how the clipper 's numbers actually works. I am totally beginner in using it. What does that mean when shaver is set to lowest number(2) vs highest number (21)
21mm vs 2 mm
what about the oil? when do you need to use it?
Some people recommend one drop of oil after each use but I haven't done that. Haha. I only do it whenever the battery low and it needs a charging. So I charge and oil at the same time.
Wow you seem to cut like a pro to me.. Will be getting xiaomi trimmer. By the way the good hair scissors you have - would you know if it's available to order in shopee or lazada?
Haha. Far from being a pro but I've had practice with my kids and husband. Haha. THESE SCISSORS ARE FANTASTIC! I bought them at Olive Young, Korea. Sadly, I can't seem to find them here.
Your son is pretty ❤️
This video deserves a million views, and this channel also, nice review maam, it's more detailed compared other, bcoz of that, I'll get one.
Stay safe
Haha. Thanks for saying so. And yay! Glad you liked it and it helped you make your decision! 👍👍
I agree very informative :)
Glad it helps!! 😄

Hey there. I just bought the same hair trimmer. Thanks for tips. Love your video. Stay safe 👍🏻
Yay! Enjoy your clipper!
Very nice review of this enchen boost hair clipper. Keep it up.
Thanks for the encouraging words! 🙏
4:20 what clipper mm did she use?
How you turn this off? I mean off off. With no lights on the indicator. Thanks for the answer
I just click the off button and it turns off without any lights on the indicator. If it's not charging and it's off, it shouldn't have any lights on.
I should say , professional cut...
sub + like. Enjoy your detail review and even on how friendly it is to clean up the trimmer after, the time lapse haircut for your son. Hope you reach 1k in no time.
Thanks for the sub! 🤗 And yes, this trimmer is super friendly to upkeep and manage.
Is it still any good almost two years later or has it broken on you? Currently deciding between this and the Mijia one...
The blade has become slightly blunt and snags hair. Upon changing it, it’s as good as new!
Hi, do you need to replace the blades after using for 1 year now?
Yes I do! Just swapped out the old blades for new ones and it works like a charm again.
Super Mom!
🤩 I try. But I'm nowhere near the level of the other supermoms out there! Haha.
4:20 what clipper mm did she use?
nice review. however i can not follow how to remove the comb. do i just pull it out after the maximum setting 21? or do i need to press some buttons.
You need to push down on the slider and pull it upwards. Hope this helps!
nice vid. very easy on the ears. by the way
TIP: in changing to boost mode, after pressing the clipper to ON, press the button again longer this time until you feel the motor kicks in much faster.
aite?!
Thanks for the encouragement! It’s odd but I tried the long press cos I read about it but... I can’t seem to get it to kick in! My hair clipper just turns off again. 😩🤔
This works! Thank you so much!
Did you charge it right away before you used it? How long does it take to charge?
I did - just to be safe - but there was already some charge in the clipper before I charged it. I left it overnight to charge the first round. The next time, seemed to take just 2 hours or so for a full charge.
Just so you know, the charging port is called USB-C it's the most popular and the best port now aday.
Yes, so I've been told! Thank you!
Just bought ENCHEN hairclipper, was wondering how to clean the hair that stuck inside, thanks to your clip tutorial :)
Glad I could help! All the parts can be removed. Even the blade. Just unlatch the spring!
4:20 what clipper mm did she use?
I also buy this on lazzada & its good!
Yesssss... superb. No regrets!
How do I know that charging is complete? I just see 2 white lights on
2 white lights means it's fully charged. =)
@@FunWithSons 4:20 what mm did you use cutting his hair?
Beautiful, both😄
Thank you! 😊
I bought this one but there was no oil.. is it still safe to use it?
I should think it's ok for use if the blades are moving smoothly. I haven't re-oiled mine and it's been a good few months since I started using it. If you wanna be safe, I suppose you can always get your own blade oil in-store or online and apply it before use.
Hey! Do I have to change those blades after a long time use?!
I've wondered the same thing but I think it's quite hardy so you'll get pretty good long-term use with the blade that came with the clipper. And given the affordability, I'm guessing it's a use-and-throw after it gets blunt.
@@FunWithSons last part hurt me much, anyways thanks for the reply, I've already bought one.
Just want to ask,
how to know if the clipper is fully charge?
Is there also an indicator if the batt is running low?
Thanks
You'll know when to charge when the clipper seems to slow down. Also, you can check by looking at the two dots of light on the body of the clipper. When it's fully charged, you'll see both dots light up. Easy!
But its a big issue to cut the hair from 0 to the 0.7 ml
Right ?
I could get quite a close cut for my younger son. You just have to remove the protective comb and be careful!
Has anyone tested the included USB C cable if it works for transferring files through phone?
I haven't tried. Let us know if you do and if it works!
Why would you need to know that?
Your english is awsome i love it 😍
Thank you! 😃
Loved the vid but have to say you are absolutely gorgeous! Jeeez, soothing voice to boot haha
Aww, thanks for the compliment! That’s very kind of you to say. 🥰 Glad you like the video!
@@FunWithSons 😘👍

How is the performance is it hud for long term
So far so good. I’m still using it and I only charge it after a handful of cuts. I’m happy with this purchase! No regrets.
Thanks, Where do you put the oil thingy?
One drop on the blades!
U also clean ur beard 😋😋😋😋😘
Can you use it also for bodyhair?Like chest or arms?
I suppose you can use it on _any_ hair. 😆
Awesome 👍
Wow, nice video!!
Thank you!! I tried! Haha. 😊
nice review, very informative keep it up
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
4:20 what clipper mm did she use?
Great review
Thank you!
Price
Can I use it without the guard?
Definitely!
HOW TO KNOW IF IT IS FULL THE RAZOR AND HOW TO LONG CHARGE
The light stops blinking when charge is full. Pretty straight forward! I left it overnight to charge but apparently it takes about 2 hours for a full charge.
Nice I just bought this and I'm in Penang too
Nice 👍 Enjoy using it! And Penang is awesome.
Can you charge it on the wall outlet besides the powerbank? Have you tried it? Cellphone can be charged on the wall or powerbank.
Hmmm... So far, I've been charging it with a wall plug. I haven't tried charging it with a powerbank but as it comes with a USB port, I don't see why it cannot be charged with a powerbank. Shouldn't be a problem, I think!
@@FunWithSons ok thank you.
It can. I have try it but dunno how long to charge

How to activate the turbo mode in humming bird and boost?
I replied you in the other comment you left. Don’t have a Hummingbird so I’m not sure how that one works. But got the Boost... it doesn’t seem to work on mine. 🤷🏻♀️
4:20 what clipper mm did you use?
That should be a 9mm or a 12mm. I can't remember. 😅
Battery getting weak after like 10 times of cutting.
Mine was perfectly fine in terms of battery life but the blade started getting dull. I just swapped to a new blade and it's great now!
How to know charge time 120 min
Just charge until the light stops blinking and both LED dots are lit.
Is it suitable for beard?
I don’t see why not. Should work the same way I’m guessing?
Thanks! got mine just now :D
Yay!!! Enjoy the Mi experience!
USB Type-C is what you call on that type of cable
Thank you! So I've been told! Haha.
May I know how much you bought??
RM43.90!
Amizing review😍
Thank you! 🤗 Glad you liked it!
4:20 what clipper mm did she use?
Are you using 12for the hairclipper
For some parts of the head, yes!
so the xiaomi works better then ur other hair trimmer? i think there is another model.. hummingbird
All three hair clippers are quite different. The MAG feels solid and is a plug-in hair clipper. But hair always gets stuck and it loses speed when it does, which is very often - like a few times during a haircut. 🤦🏻♀️ I think if the MAG worked consistently, I probably wouldn’t have felt the desperate need to get another hair clipper.
The Angry Birds clipper started off working very well. And weighs a lot like the Boost but is more ergonomic. They’re easier to compare. I think the Angry Birds hair trimmer’s comb catches hair best comparatively. But the slide comb in the Boost was just irresistible to me - that’s why I got it. Haha.
At the end of the day, I think the ENCHEN Boost is a dependable product that simply works. Plus point is it doesn’t weigh a tonne and doesn’t buzz to the point my hand gets numb. The MAG does that. 😅 I also believe the battery won’t die on me quite as quickly as the Angry Birds hair clipper because Xiaomi products tend to last beyond worth.
And yes!! I read about the Hummingbird. It looks a lot more ergonomic but it’s slightly more expensive and the combs are detachable, I believe. I was tempted to get that, too!
@@FunWithSons tq for the comprehensive report:) i jz ordered my enchen sharp 3s.. it is supposely better than hummingbird (was told its the latest model ie hummingbird + boost).. oh ya, im from penang too& banana like u;)
OMG I’M SO ENVIOUS!! That’s the new one! I just saw it on the Xiaomi page! It looks good. Much more ergonomically designed than the Boost. Haha. Penangite bananas. Yay us! 🍌🍻
@@FunWithSons hahahaha. order it.. its not expensive:)
Temptingggggg...
Can we use it while it's on charging ?
Yes you can
Got one and it does work on charge
does it hurt a skin if use for shaving a beard
Nope! Not if you use it right! 😬
Is this good in trimming beards?😊
I haven't tried but I don't see why not. You won't get a super close shave with the sliding comb on though. If you remove the comb, you should get to 0.7mm. Just be careful! Haha.
Lmfao why u asking her man she don't got no beard😹😹😹
@@habibitalbiii Maybe her husband has beard lol
Can you clean this on running water?
I clean the removable parts with running water sometimes but be sure to dry them properly and oil the metal spring joint. I wouldn’t wash the body with water. I don’t think it’s waterproof. 😅
Very cute and cooperate partner you have there. Cheers
Haha. Thanks! 👍

hi dear , can you exemine xiaomi enchen sharp 3s ?
Hi! Will definitely review it if I get it!
@@FunWithSons Hi, don't worry, I can free give you a ENCHEN Sharp3S hair clipper, how to connect with you? Could you give me your WhatsApp account?
4:20 what mm is she using on the clipper?
It's a type c cable. Like all new android phone
So many have told me! Thanks for the info! 🙏
The head or end of the cord charger is called type--c
Thank you! So I've learned!
i am chinese, i understand mandarin words, i didn't lost my roof, my language, my culture, my words.......
Is it waterproof ?
It doesn't look like the body is waterproof. I wouldn't get it wet.
Hi, may I know that how to contact you?
you never say what's the oil for.
Whoops. Sorry! It’s to oil the blades and make sure everything runs smoothly. Reduces friction and avoids rusting.
How to change the speed?
I’ve tried this to no avail. I cannot tell the difference between Turbo mode and normal mode. It’s supposed to be activated by a long press. But when I do that on mine, it just turns off / on. 😅 I hope you figure it out. Then let me know! Haha.
Turn it ON first. Then press and hold the button until you hear the sound of the motor change, indicating change in speed.
how to change the battery and how to oil it
It's a rechargable shaver so you just plug it into a USB charger and it'll charge. As for oiling, just drop 1-2 drops of the oil provided on to the blades after each use!
@@FunWithSons
thanks
but i mean how i replace the battery when its lifetime end i know it is rechargeable using type c cable
Ooo. I don’t think the battery is meant to be changed. If it dies on you, I think it’s time to get a new one. 😅 Unless you’re super nifty with DIY battery hacks, of course. But I think Xiaomi quality is quite good so the battery should last awhile! I have a Xiaomi vacuum we use daily and it still charges well.
4:20 what mm is she using on the clipper?
How to use the clipper oil? hehe
I just add a drop along the blades and turn it on.
turbo mode is louder
Which one is better xiaomi sharp 3 or sharp 3s
Gosh, I don’t know actually. I didn’t get those. The XIAOMI Enchen Boost is definitely an entry-level hair clipper that’s cheap and easy to use. But the Sharp 3S seems to be marketed as a higher-range product. If price is not a factor, I think this Sharp 3S hair clipper is fab based on what I read. Go for it!
there is another model...hummingbird
The sharp3s can cut closer to the skin if this is what u looking for.
4:20 what mm is she using on the clipper?
Good 🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩
Thank you!
😘
Just cut my son's hair using this - I left a hole or more on his head - regret buying this. I cut better with just a pair of scissors - at least the hair is even. This thing is difficult to control.
You must be quite a bad barber because this device is basically fool proof. I cut on my own and have made it to Vogue a few times already
Comparatively, this clipper is very easy to use. Perhaps you may need to get used to the way a clipper works. Then you'll grow to love its convenience compared to scissor cutting!
At first i was like “why the hell is she clipping her son’s hair to review a clipper!??!!”. But then...😳
Hahaha. I hope that meant you changed your mind! 😂😂😂
