I have already uploaded these songs many years ago but have just had the immense good fortune to have received what is just remarkable footage and these songs need to be seen and heard to be believed.

Like anybody alive and listening to rock 'n roll in 1983 I heard "In a Big Country" on the radio and at parties a lot. Somehow, and to my regret, I am just now discovering how good a band this was. If only someone had sat me down in '83 and made me listen to the entirety of The Crossing.
Some day people will realise how good B.C. were.

Astounding quality! I have been watching the old footage in the past few weeks over and over again, as I so love this performance; especially the transition of Balcony into Lost Patrol. I wished for it - if only - to be in colour. And now this.... Give Olaf a big kiss from me for making this happen! And to you for sharing this with us!
I saw them in the Brangwyn Hall Swansea on this tour, they were excellent....Smokey Robinson's Tracks of my Tears as an encore❤
legendary band.... all four were amazing but Stuart was just one of a kind

The music of Stuart Adamson and his band "Big Country" has shaped me and my musical preferences forever. I hope that his "Partners in Crime", Bruce Watson, Tony Butler, Mark Brzezicki and all the "new" band members and their music will be remembered for a long time! May you rest in peace Stuart!

Saw this on German tv ,35 years ago , They were so impressive ,never seen or heard anything like them . Went to the recordstore and bought The Crossing.

Until just over a year ago I had no time or use for CZcams. Then I discovered footage of Big Country and now I spend countless hours watching the band and catching up on what I’ve been missing.
