This is where I live and have all my life. I grew up in Snowville and spent most of my summers on the lake swimming. There is a lot of beautiful things to see and explore in this part of VA. There is a great few Restaurants in Radford. Sal's and BTs are both great, Macado's is also usually good. Mason Jar up near the State Park are just a few locally owned places. There are several in Blacksburg that aren't chain restaurants. Long Way Brewery in Radford also has great food trucks that are there when they are open. They are good restaurants that are chains in the area if you ask locals or do some research.
After watching the video my wife informed me that she and her family found some great restaurants while I was out hiking! It might be the ones you mentioned. Thanks for the info. I will keep these places in mind if/when we go back.
Virginia is sure a beautiful state. I visited Virginia in May. 😊
