Minor corrections.
The 4gb file size limit when copying dummy files is not due to the NTFS file system, but due to the FAT32 filesystem.
Also , this is not a correction. The better way to create dummy files is by using the dd command. It works mainly on Linux and also mac os because mac os is based on UNIX .
The command is
dd if=/dev/zero of=/path/to_store/dummy_file bs=1GB count=15 status=progress
This command creates a dummy 15GB file.
Likewise , to create a 20GB file, just replace count with 20.

The deleted file won't go when you click delete only the address to the file will be deleted.
And when you add a new file it takes the space of the deleted file, so the it replaces the memory of the deleted file with the new one.
