@@edgardrizzil1010 Unisex names exist because they can fit males and females. Alex for men comes from Alexandros, Alex for women comes from Alexandria.
Taylor is a name that doesn't come from any religion, it came afterwards, so there's no verse or city where it comes from, there's no gender tied to it.
Edit: Taylor comes from the Latin word Taliare which means "To cut." It has a meaning, but not an important one, so it can be applied to male or female.
Unisex refers to things males and females can use, that doesn't mean that it's 3rd gender or gender neutral or whatever batshit thing you want to invent.
And technically, yes. We were all named prematurely. Say, if you were named John, after the verse, you wouldn't always end up following the verse your name came from. But names are names. They may hold meanings, but in most of the world, nobody cares about meanings and name their kids something stupid and unique like ABCDE or Krystal. In the land of the rising suicide rate(Japan if you're a bit thick in the head, as I expect you are), just about everybody uses the meaning of their name.
