Wow, this video was much better than I expected, I've main Marth for four years (I still main him to this day) and this video was very useful for reminding me of some uses of down tilt, keep up the good content!
Great video! One other thing I'll add is the use of marths down tilts in strings, this is something ignaize does a lot in particular. While it should only be really reserved for earlier %, dtilt is a great string extender out of low % tipper landed arials, particularly fair, which usually allows it to lead into grab like you mentioned. Thanks you for continuing to push this character forward in the meta.
Thank you for all the content. Your guides help me get better at playing Marth. I dont utilise D tilt enough and now im going to mimic your dtilt into dash away on shield as that was a very eye opening usage of the move. For yourself, you speak clearly and are easy to understand. Your editing is clean and the footage displayed is relevant to what you are talking about so keep up the good work mate!
Dtilt as always been the fsmash check in past smash games. Because typically they are roughly the same distance. So if you are tech chasing and hit a dtilt. Go for the same tech chase setups and switch with fsmash
Honestly safe grounded options in neutral are suprisingly very rare and only on like shiek and mythra and pika d-tilt so even of marth d-tilt just knocked away it's still pretty good and it's still damage plus positioning.
The video is finally finished! Enjoy this guide on Marth's Down Tilt!
Next Marth move is probably Back Air or Dolphin Slash.

1:15 Calling it a blood spot is awesome
I love that you are carrying on the torch of marth content! You should make a marth nuetral guide :o

❤ your videos!! Thanks for this
One thing you should do more with Marth is sling shot. Downtilt into slingshot fair or nair is legit so good. Way better then dashing back.
love this video and loving the content

Funny how this character is perceived as mid tier despite having an arsenal of moves ranging from good to broken.
Thanks for the tip(get it, tip? Ok Imma shut up). Time to add this to my marcina playlist)
I use it a lot on shield after landing, am not a very good player, but it works good to maintain a safe distance.

Good guide
Great stuff as usual! Down Tilt is kinda really busted :D
Spyder: "Down Tilt is good for tech chasing"
ESAM: "So, you have chosen... debate!"
Sour d tilt with rage is busted
ex melee marths never skimp on the downtilts. Stay low PPMD style
LOW THRUST
It seems kinda broken
Btw love the vids, keep up the good work
