Nobody is going to fight Shakur for a 20% cut for a vacant title. Neither guy was a champion. WBC rules say 50/50, or 60/40 in "extreme" cases. Shakur priced himself out with Frank the same way he did with Devin. Then, he calls you a "duck" if you don't give him everything he wants.

He got paid 4 million for de Los santos, bill haney just said devin only made 2 million from kambosos. So shakur is way more valuable than devin. Shakur only has 21 fights to Devins 31, but shakur has displayed more talent since the amateurs and Olympics so he’s way more accomplished than devin. He didn’t have to sacrifice because he was Devin’s mandatory meaning he was getting a fight with Devin rather they wanted it or not. So Devin moved up to fight Regis at 140, tell the truth and shame the devil😂.

If the champion (devin) refuses to fight the mandatory (shakur), he must forfeit his titles and vacate the division to challenge someone else, so the mandatory can have a chance at the title. If the current champion (devin) didn’t want to defend his title against a challenger (shakur). So yes haney a 🦆.
I saw a clip of Frank calling out Shakur in a hotel lobby, I can’t find it anywhere. Frank definitely hasn’t kept the same energy that I saw in that clip 😂

Boxing is all over the place when it comes to making fights. There should be a standard split that everyone respects depending on what level you are and what level the fight is. This would cut out a bunch of nonsense and get fights made.

I feel what Frank is saying but this makes Devin Haney’s journey look even greater. He took the ridiculous demands fighting Kambosos in Australia twice, and being paid only 25% both fights. Became undisputed and defended it against Lomachenko. Now all these cats at 135 are dancing around each other lol

It's a matter of public record that Frank was the one who backed out. He agreed to the fight, then backed out after he spoke with his team. So, at the bare minimum, he isn't intelligent enough to manage his own career. Maybe he leave the business decisions to the businessmen because he looks like a goofball rn.

You’re a lil uneducated. Shakur didn’t like the split with Haney so he activated his mandatory to force purse bid but Haney dropped the belt and went up to fight regis. At the time Shakur was as big of a draw as Devin pulling nearly the same viewers as Devin on espn.
Frank agreed to the split then backed out of it. If he didn’t agree to the split in the first place, he could’ve gone to purse bid but he agreed to 25% then backed out.

I still think Frank should've took the fight. He was making a career-high payday, he was going to main event on ESPN in a title fight, and he was going to build buzz for himself and his name if he did end up getting called to fight Tank in 2024. The risk-reward was better than just sitting. Best case scenario, you become a champion and beat a household name.
A. I don't think he really believed he could go over to Top Rank and beat Shakur.
B. He turned down a million dollar payday to sit on the bench with no upcoming fights, no money, no buzz. Shakur fought anyway. Frank didn't. So ultimately, it hurt Frank's activity, his brand and his credibility. Now Shakur's brand was also hurt by that shitty performance but the fact that Frank pulled out but had absolutely nothing set up as a backup was head-scratching.
C. If Tank fights someone else instead of Frank, it will make Frank look even dumber for not taking the Shakur fight. Especially since Showtime dropped PBC and they don't have a schedule for 2024.
