- I bought a 2000 Chevy Corvette convertible that sat in a barn, got ate up by rats, then sat outside for years at a shop. It runs and drives (barely) and was only $5,000. In the last video we changed it over to ZO6 suspension and deleted the old real time damping setup. Now it's time to lower the car as far as it will go on stock bolts, and install a set of cheap C6 wheels. The silver painted wheels make the car look a bit newer, and they came with Continental tires on them that are far better than the old Sceptors. This cheap upgrade makes huge difference in the looks department.

All my diesel trucks I installed Fumoto Valves. No mess, no stripped pan bolts. Then again I change oil about every 6 weeks.
I have put those on my last 2 vehicles and if you have the room and the correct positioning for them they are the only way to go......I sure love mine.

Maybe you need to look at adding a waste oil heater to one of the shops to help take some of the load from the HVAC during the winter and put that dead oil to good use seeing how you have a fleet to maintain and lots of space to heat.

Maybe respray the Corvette - OEM colour at Macco Paint Shop
C5 wheels are nice. I have had them on my c4 and c5 for many year but I also picked up some c6 rims for my c4 because so many have c5 rims on there c4 now. Time for a change. You can’t spray clear over that you need to repaint it, base coat and clear coat.
I went on a factory tour with my dad when these were getting built. I have wanted one ever since.

Just a heads up buddy anytime you lift a vet on a lift you should open the doors and open the hood and trunk because the fiberglass will flex and can crack the body panels if you don't open them all up. I worked at a tire shop here in South Florida for many years and that's the first thing they taught us!

Had mine since 2010. I'm 6'4" its the first car I've ever had to pull the seat forward to drive. I could wear a hat while driving. Only problem I've ever had was an ignition coil went bad. Love mine. 😁

I had a lot of issues with my extreme contacts wearing within 5-10k miles, they were aligned properly and balanced. Also thought it could be suspension related so I to replaced my suspension realigned and did brake calipers, pads and rotors. Still wore out all 4 within 10k with no burnouts just normal daily driving. So just keep an eye on em
I had 2 sets and both cupped. Wondered if there was something wrong with my suspension but quick google showed it's common problem with these Contis. The Yokos I have on now aren't cupping. Other than that, I liked them.

I put chrome C-6 rims on my C-5, as well. I too put wheel spacers on the rear. Looked great...last long time.

Much better looking on the corvette 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍and for the record factory chrome wheels they peel just as bad I had a 2000 navigator and the chrome was peeling coming off the wheels every time you cleaned them !!! 😤 they are just not worth the extra money if you drive car year around .

The only C5 we have over here was made by a company called Sinclair which is also a cabriolet but I doubt it’s quite as quick as the US version.
Hi JR, love your work. How many miles has the F250 done since the last oil change? As a European I can’t help but feel that America has been gaslighted into changing oil every third Tuesday by the Jiffy Lube manta whereas Europeans often go 20,000mi between oil changes and still enjoy high mileage vehicles.

When you get to paint, please do it right. Bumpers and detachable panels removed, sand paint to factory primer, paint jambs with all hardware removed. three base coats and three clear coats followed by a full cut and buff. You can show your audience how a repaint is done to a very high standard. And please keep it Polo Green

I would like to see if someone could correct the clear coat on the vet. It is a pretty color. I have the same clear coat pell on my vet. Just not as bad.

Are those authentic C6 wheels? I was under the impression the wheels could just be bolted on to a C5 without the need for spacers.
They are and they do actually fit without rubbing... but they're tucked to far back in the wheel well 🍻
Those back tires were chopped all to pieces, I suppose that could have been from the bad shocks.
I once downed 72 vette convertible soft top and it had a hard top! It didn't matter what top was on, both tops were as water tight as a screen door on a submarine! UGH!
