Gravity Rush Remastered: Rift Plane - The Mirage - Rare Nevi [PS4]

This one is the hardest of the three Rare Nevi, try to stay above and use gravity kick as soon as his attack is finished, then fly away and repeat until he is beaten! Being high level in gravity kick, gravity gauge an gravity recovery is very helpful! Also health too.

This boss is so creepy, the way you have to go all the way out to that strange satellite to disturb him.

just gonna post an alternate strategy i used, run all the way to the end where you would fight the rift plane boss on your first run, grab some seeds from the flower pods shift over to the nevi ( remember to not stop moving) and throw your payload at him rinse and repeat. takes waaaaay longer but infinitely less frustrating

Thanks! This is a great strategy. I died multiple times when trying to gravity-kick this beast, but throwing objects from a safe distance works much better.

He never stops attacking

You've probably already beat it by now, but you can actually run away, get health packs and come back. Also, exposing his heads weak-point and then attacking it does the most damage.

Thanks for the vid! I've found the Inferno rare nevi and had no problems defeating it, but had no idea how to find the rest and found your vids, so will try today or tomorrow. The first rift plane rare nevi looks even easier than the Inferno nevi, but this one does not look tough, just trickier of them all, but you managed well to evade his attacks. I beated the game already and just got the 3 additional dlcs, so will try to get the rest two rare nevi, before doing the dlcs.

Max out your gravity kick, your evade, your gauge use, your recovery and you should be fine. By max out I mean, make it at least level 5, better level 6. I've noticed special attacks dont work with the rare nevi, so dont bother using it.
