I heard this played a couple of years ago on Chicago's WFMT Classical Station... I was out driving and had to pull over to the side of the road. Couldn't believe what I was hearing! Just FAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it just as much every time I listen to it again! BRAVO!!!!!

It's not often that a cover song blows my mind and shakes me to my core, but this song sure did, from the first moment it entered my consciousness...This performance helped me re-orient my own musical direction towards writing & performing rock arrangements which blend the best of popular and classical musical making. I think that in the future, we'll look back at the transformation of classical music in the 21st century, with Anderson & Roe's "Billie Jean" as one of the landmarks.

Your performance was very nice. May i asking you for okay if this where i can get a note, can I find?
I can't help but fantasize an interesting way to perform this. One guy, dressed up as Michael Jackson (minus the glove) would be sitting at the piano, and the other seat would be empty.
The first guy would start playing the secondo part, and at 0:22 another guy, also dressed up as Michael Jackson (this time with a glove), would moonwalk onto the stage while snapping his fingers, and then show off some Michael Jackson dance moves. At about 0:37, he'd pull off his glove and toss it to a member of the audience, then moonwalk over to the bench. He'd slide into his place in the primo seat at about 0:43 and start playing, and the performance would continue as normal. After the performance was over, and they bowed to the audience, they'd moonwalk, in sync, off stage.
Too bad the sheet music will never get released because of copyright issues. It'd be really cool if this idea became a reality.

The rhythm is infectious, the syncopation is distinctly American, and the playing is superb. They had a lot of fun doing this, and I had a lot listening to it.

Great take on a R&B classic..this idea of "classical" musicians not playing "classic" pop is so strange. The great thing about being American is our ability to live and thrive in our diversity. Linda Rondstat made many a Motown tune in C&W style, and Whitney's greatest hit is a Dolly Parton song! Ain't it great livin' in the USA!
Tree-men-doose! Loved it. Love all your videos. Is it just me, or does anyone else think the cameras are too busy. I could do with about 75% less jumping from camera to camera. (Old fogey, I guess!) Still loved it.
