    First, we're back with Geoff Garrod controlling the pigeons on his patch of Essex. Last time we took on the woodies with Geoff there was still snow on the fields but it's an entirely different scenario today -- shooting with decoys and hide over a sun-soaked rape field. We've also given him a Lincoln Elite de Luxe shotgun to test -- stoked up with Eley VIP loads, it's a formidable combo and it soon gets Geoff onto the birds. Now we just have to hope enough show up to make an exciting day's shooting!
    Later, we head up the east coast to visit Riflecraft and learn about the Cerakote concept -- a spray-on rifle coating that aims to give your gear military strength. Riflecraft's Mark Dunford shows us what it is, how to use it and how it could make a real difference to your shooting.

    Hi Phillip, I would like to confirm that the houses seen in this video are well out of shooting range. ATB Pete

    It depends on how close the houses are but shotgun pellets will rarely be effective over 60 yards.

    Isn't it somewhat dangerous to shoot in the direction of houses as seen in several sequences in this video?

  • @pkllk
    @pkllk Před 11 lety

    Well I didn't really mean the danger for humans as the distance was far enough, but more when pellets fly into a window or similar. I assume them flying up to 400 oder 500 meters especially shooting in such an angle..

      Blaze yeah that's when I got my first 12 gauge, in my opinion it's more about cartridge size. Hope you get what your looking for and enjoy using it!

    As I am a hunter & not a sniper - why would I want to paint my rifle? Or am I missing the point?
    It would be great if 'TSS' could help out on this point.

    So it won't improve the perform of my 'chocolate trifle'?
    Just make it look pretty for the Rothirsch! Ahh!
    By the way, when did hunters get all 'West Coast Customs' on their 'boomstick'?
