im a 41 year old dad.... i feel 21 watching this ....im gonna grab myself a carver

I grew up in Ventura (1974-1984) and then (1988-1994). It’s nice to see surfers’ point (c street) and downtown but I can’t identify that skate park. Where is it located?
I ended up here because I was told a carver was closer to surfing then a ripsurf etc can you tell me why

what's the difference between a carver and a surf-skate?
Carver is one brand of surfskate among other like Yow, Swelltech... All of them have that kind of moving truck on the nose to carve
