Eddie is confirmed as a returning character in the walking dead the final season episode 4 "Take us Back" Eddie is from the 400 days dlc in season 1 Eddie becomes a member of the New Frontier and is stationed as a guard at the McCaroll Ranch.
Eddie is a main character who first appeared in Wyatt's Story in Telltale Games' The Walking Dead: 400 Days and later returns as an antagonist in a flashback in The Final Season. Eddie is Wyatt's friend whose reckless and rash actions get the best of him. After their separation, Eddie becomes a member of the New Frontier and is stationed as a guard at the McCaroll Ranch.

@@ADWEI All the members of Mccarols Ranch are New Frontier members from season 3, including Eddie. They're not the members that were doing raids on others, they were just stationed to defend the outpost and it got attacked. It's tragic how the stoner had to die this episode though. I wish I wasn't forced to kill him or the woman taking care of AJ. But at least he wasn't murdered by the methhead chasing him and Wyatt. It's sad that both of them survived the encounter, but probably never were able to find each other.

Being a good guy just seems to keep screwing Eddie over, whether it's trying to help a guy he ran over, only for his friend to abandon him with a psychopath, or attempting to save the kids only to be shot in the head.

@Black Label They didn't kidnap them, they took care of them and the people at the ranch mistook Clem for one of the raiders and attempted to defend AJ, eventually sacrificing their lives in an attempt to keep the baby safe.

Eddie was always a good guy. Maybe not an all-important role, but a good one. It's sad to see that he died such a pointless death.

Still, is crazy to think that after 5 years their path crossed, i mean i never though that i see Eddie ever again after Wyat's story. I always ask myself: What happened to Eddie, did he make it out, did he changed, did he find a good community? Now, I finally see that he find a good place and that he didn't changed, and instead helped to protect the kids and the community to be safe. Still sad to see him gone, if only he didn't try to stab Clementine, then maybe he could've helped her and AJ.

@Traxly Thats determinant. Wyatt appears in Season 2 only if he left with Tavia in 400 days. If Wyatt stays in the camp at the end of 400 Days, he won`t appear in Season 2

Oskari Salo don't get me wrong, I'm glad she's alive too but it's dumb how they did it. They paid homage to season 1 but just left it there. It didn't explain how she lived (besides the obvious missing foot). It would've been better they didn't try to trick the fans. The fact that she lives, leaves that scene kinda pointless and emotionless.

@@Hockeyhobo89 i would assume that what we saw were bite impressions. that boot is thick and well made. there also is leather inside flap that would have additional cover. when she pulled her boot back to show the teeth marks none of them were outside of that, in the axe wound, where they would need to be to transmit the infection. a bite isn't enough, the virus needs to be in contact with the bloodstream transmit the virus.

I kinda wish telltale did a full 5 episode season. They could have had an episode 1, before Done Running, revolving around how Clem gets AJ and maybe showing what happens to Richmond. Like Clem does go back but then has to leave because of the war. Then they just continue with the whole season with the same plot and everything.

I’ve seen a theory that Eddie was supposed to play Arvos role. Think about it he was in the artwork for episode 4 on the menu. Jane calls arvo a junkie which is what she would’ve called Eddie while hiding drugs. Instead of Russians it would’ve been the rest of carvers group and Eddie is on clems side and when Wyatt sees Eddie it gets complicated.
They got rid of christa and I'm kinda pissed about that 😑. So much bad stuff happened because of that separation back then in season 2. Instead we got the stoner dude from 400 days for what? Don't get me wrong this episode was dope and all but there are way to many unanswered questions like what happened to Molly, Javi, James or Bonnie & Dave I guess we'll never know.😢

Frosty dimattia most likely dead, if you choose to try and save help her in the beginning of s2, you hear her run, a gunshot, and her screaming
Claps for Minerva... clem survived thanks to her because the axe wound stop/slowed the blood infection so she did got more time to cut the leg off
PS: I don't like minerva I think she is a snake I only pointed a fact and argument that explained how clem survive and lee didn't
If it wasn't for Minerva, Clementine wouldnt get bit in the first place. The wound slowed her down causing the walkers to catch up to her.

The wound did slow down the bite spreading but the walker wouldn't have even been able to bite through her boot if Min*rva didn't slice it open in the first place

Well what I love about this whole sequence was it showes us it is not black and white anymore. The McCarrol Ranch was a peacful communety and even traded with Richmond. (That's why Lingard gave AJ to them) And when you play Whyatt's chapter in 400 days you see that Eddie is a good guy. Worring about a policeofficer who got hit buy a car and putting himself in big danger either serching for him or staying alone in the car.
I am one of those few who loved the 400 days DLC. We got insight on diferent people. I just hoped we would see their stories continune somehow. Bonnie was the only one and she messed up everything right before Luke died. I dislike her so much. I am courious about Vince, Russel, Shel and Whyatt though.
But to come back to Eddie here, Whyatts buddy in crime. He ends up in a shitty situation either way how you dicide with Whyatt. If Eddie is the one who as to take a look at the policeofficer Whyatt is forced to flee with the car and if it is Whyatt looking for the policeofficer Eddie will be also forced to drive away. The voice and Car lights are good hint, because we get to know the person in Russels story. It is Niles. He is one wich would cound to the evils. Killing an unarmed old married pair and stealing their stuff.
And what I also loved, how the stories grabed into each other. They were all conected and even conected season 1 and 2. With Russel aou are able to see either Doug's or Carley's corpse in the Grass were Lily gone to far.
In Season 2 you can see at the river (when you are with Pete) Roman' corpse, the leader of Shel's groub. But it was not enough and I wish we would get some closer to those characters.
This episode was very emotional, wasn't expecting what happened at all, it was truly amazing and such a great end to the series. Of course it was sad at the same time but that's twd for you. I'm gonna miss these games a lot, they have been a wonderful experience. I will admit, i found the flashback a little disappointing, i don't feel there was much depth to it with all the build up, i thought it was gonna be way more tense and i kinda feel like it could have been shown in the earlier episodes, BUT, nevertheless, this episode was still perfect.

I’m finally coming to peace and accepting the fact that’s it all over and we most likely will never see Clem again. A lot of tears were shed and a lot of time was spent playing this game and it will always have a place in my heart. But all amazing things have to come to an end eventually. It just couldn’t last forever I wish it could’ve but it just couldn’t and if I think about it Clem would’ve died eventually if we just had season after season after season. So honestly maybe this is for the best and hopefully we can get a DLC or another season with Aj or different Characters and maybe just maybe someday get to see Clem again in a flashback or as a background character. Thank you Telltale and Skybound for making this journey possible. We love you Clementine.

The episode was amazing! I’m so glad it ended the way it did but I am a little disappointed that there wasn’t a nice lee flash back and we didn’t get any explanation to Chrisa... would of been great if she was in the ranch flash back. Also kinda sucked that Lilly had a minute scene and that was it. Episode all in all absolutely incredible!

Maybe one last dlc to see what happened to everyone in season 3 (and subsequently this whole “warzone” around Richmond) I’m almost positive this won’t happen but that would be awesome

NNick0310 Hey. What I think happened is Clem went into the McCarol Ranch to get AJ, but Lilly’s group had attacked it before she got there. That’s why Eddie is like, “But I’m not letting one of you savages take a kid!”. It’s because he thinks that she’s with Lilly’s group and she’s here to abduct AJ. Then, Clem heads into the nursery and finds where AJ is being held. There’s a lady there, and she tries to kill Clem, but Clem kills her. The blood then goes into the locker that AJ is in, and he is covered in it. This woman was taking care of AJ, and AJ had presumably grown to know and somewhat care about this woman. When AJ is taken out of the locker, he sees the woman, dead, with a bullet hole in her head, and he’s covered in her blood. I think that AJ has PTSD from this encounter, and Clem as well. This is why she hasn’t used any guns. Because she saw what she did. She killed that woman and horrifically scared AJ emotionally. Then Clem says they can’t go back to Richmond as it is “a war zone.” I think that the war that Lilly’s group is fighting is against Richmond. Then they drive off and the flashback ends. This is just a rough outline/theory about what happened.
i wish the 4 people clem kills were the original 400 days characters Vince, Russel, Wyatt, and Shel. They could of escaped from Carvers camp in season 2 together and made it to this place then we could of killed them all ☺️
