The Shark Pass is in the Bikini Atoll which is part of the Marshall Islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. It is basically as far away as you can get from any other place along the equator.
its interesting that there are few fish from the footage ive seen. Normally there would be fusilier and trevally lined up on reef like that. You're probably diving the downcurrent edge, but still there should be more life than a few small sharks
you are totally right. We also had this impression of where is all the fish? We traveled from Kwajalein via Wotho Atol (totaly remote) to Bikini. No fish few sharks, middle of coral bleeching...
