- As far as Abarth 500 exhausts go picking the right one can be difficult so here are 25 DIFFERENT Abarth 500 / 595 exhausts with revs and INSANE sounds on a number of modified Abarth's

One thing.......would have appreciated more in car sounds. When i changed my exhaust to the Magneti Marelli SS500RR it sounded epic, from the outside. Inside it sounded like a diesel tractor and I had to quieten it down. Now sounds nice

Let's make some noise! Got to love the smack, crackling and popping for sure. Always love the Akrapovic, such a meaty, hot sound! The Novitec Backbox Straitght pipe sound almost exactly like my Abarth 500 US model. Maybe it it because US models have straight pipes with no mufflers~ 7 feet of stainless steel exhaust pipe from engine to tail, nothing added. What a wonderful video....lots of fun, very cool.

Remember when fitting a performance exhaust. Tell your insurance some bother and some are ok with it. Great video. I’ve got a bombardone 2.0 exhaust to fit to my abarth.
Interesting to hear the lone US one does sound quite a bit different from your euro ones. Even with our stock straight pipes, I think the Tjet sounds better than our multiair...
I had one of these as a courtesy car for a month (2018 spec 595 Comp - 180bhp)... it is one of the most charasmatic sounding turbo engines this side of a Ferrari... and all from a little 1.4 4pot! Only complaints I had about the car was the awful gearbox and the bus-like driving position was like being in a Renault Espace, so the cornering just felt really wrong, but the engine covered up some of the gearbox problems and it was still surprisingly chuckable.... in terms of grin-factor and cheekiness, these cars can't be beaten for the price! I'd love to try transplanting one into a lightweight RWD sports car like a NB MX5 / Mk3 MR2... although just buying a 124 Spider might cover all bases, especially if have the gearbox from the ND MX5!! :)

4:50 my favourite.. I have their backbox on my Fiat but my fiat just has a 400 cell cat and it sounds good but a bit quiet

My favourites would have to be AdamAbarth's first and Bombardone 2.0 second. But I think I'd take an Abarth to Brooke Race Exhausts for a full custom setup!

Maybe for the next video i can send you two different Exhaust systems from my Abarth 500 EseeEsse. I got The exhaust with 200cell cat from toyosports and exhaust burbbeling from Mazza Engineering. And now I got a Gtech GT550 with 200 cell from Gtech :)

I know this video is old, but I am not in that process where I don't know what kind of exhaust to get for mine. I plan on going high-flow cat downpipe, which is gonna make it slightly raspier for sure, but I want to get a cat-back exhaust too... The NeuF non-muffled catback might make it too loud, but I'm not sure how much quieter the muffled one is, and whether it will sound at least as loud as the factory exhaust... I'm torn :(

So got the td04 upgrade and decided to get a muffle box for the car. Realised now it has totally destroyed the essence of abarth. Looking to go back to straight through soon
From the Factory in USA 2015 + all have straight pipe . Loud and nice sound . No exhaust needed

I've got a powerflow cat back system with back box delete..... But its on a fiat bravo tjet 150 with induction kit blow, off mod and remapped to produce 205bhp..... Interested?
at 3:17 how is it possible to get a backfire like that?! I have the same exhaust but only from cat and not the full exhaust system. I heard that a new downpipe would change sum but i cant imagine that it will shoot shots like that

I am getting an abarth in a few months..what do u guys suggest i should change first and what mods should i do

FMIC (Intercooler), High Volume Intake (3” piping), Upgraded Coilpacks (Alfa’s are great), Wastegate, ECU tune
I think there was atleast one Multiair which makes also different sound than T-Jet I presume.
Am exhausted after all that 😀

I see a lot of gel resin plates. Anyone know the law regarding these? Thinking when I get my (custom) plates put on, I might get gel resin but might not if I’m going to get ticketed..
They are perfectly legal, just make sure they have the makers marks on them IE; name and postcode
