Making A Complete Cinematic Universe Entirely Out of Canceled DCEU Movies

- Warner Bros loves announcing movies that are in development but most of those movies never see the light of day. There are so many JUST from the DCEU that I was able to bring together an entire Cinematic Universe. The universe is unorthodox but it's arguably more coherent than the actual DCEU.

One of the cancelled movies that could also fit is the cancelled Green Arrow prison break movie. I know they sort of did the plot in Arrow season 7 but it sounds like a cool concept

They kinda did with Spectacular Spider-Man, Avengers Earth’s mightiest heroes and Wolverine and the X-Men

@@bashengatheblackmanta7003 Or even the full slate of DC animated Direct to DVD films, something that I dearly wish Marvel would actually look at, they did a few animated films back in to 00s, but they are way outnumbered by the DC equivalent, particularly since there are so many great Marvel stories that could never be adapted, at least not accurately into the MCU (for a start how many great crossover events include Steve or Tony)
Even though not perfect, it's amazing what Marvel was able to pull of with the limited options they had at the beginning of the MCU and how they managed to build off from that compared to what WB & DC tried to do after seeing their success. It's amazing what a lack of planning, confidence, rushing things through and being indecisive/second-guessing themselves every step of the way. They did have their own successes but had a lot more misses and mediocre films rather than outright big hits.
Ikr. I've been loyal to Marvel for basically my whole life. Even tho modern Marvel has taken more Ls than past years, I never find myself losing faith in the brand, mainly bc I don't take movies seriously enough to actively look for every little thing wrong with it, bc for me, the positives usually outweigh the negatives. While I like DC's stuff a fair amount, too, the only thing keeping me watching DC stuff is not only what James Gunn has made for it so far, but also the animated movies and shows that came before. I can thank HBO Max for that one lol

all i’ve ever wanted since i was a child was a decent Green Lantern movie. he was my favorite superhero and his movie even made me embarrassed. hopefully one day.

If the DCEU had a clear vision from the beginning. I think I would have liked if they did a lot of the “Pseudo Sequels” for movies rather than whole character trilogies like the MCU

Since the arrowverse is ending, i would love to se a video about: who is the justice league in the arrowverse(counting all the still active heroes operating in earth prime that could be a part off it)
I love these type of videos!! They are a great creative exercise. Would like to point out tho, you definetly could've used Will Beall's cancelled Justice League movie (which eventually turned into the Snydercut, sort of... And the story beats weren't that much different) instead of just retooling the Snydercut, although it does make sense as that would already create a different movie. And another one could've been the original "Man of Steel" titled movie, that being the Superman Returns sequel we (and he) never got to see, but also, the MoS2 plan of brainiac is another carry over from the Brandon Routh cancelled sequel, so it's just nitpicking at this point for the sake of variety lol. In conclusion, keep these coming!!
You should also do this with canceled marvel films (there's a list with 33 of them) and you should turn pre-mcu movies into a cinematic universe
like the x-men mcu universe you did, you should do a defender mcu universe with the characters from the comics

Not only the cancelled movies but also the CW Arrowverse Tv shows are underrated. Shows like The Flash, Arrow, Superman and Lois, Black Lightning, League of Legends, Supergirl and Batgirl are gems of their own and I love their crossover sagas like Elseworld and Crisis.
You could have made the Nightwing solo movie & the Deathstroke prequel movie as psuedo sequels to Ben Affleck's Batman.
If it was an Andy Samberg plastic man movie that'd have been GOLD
I wonder how many of these movies would have been made had more people given a chance to the DCEU in its early days. Still remember how hated Batman v. Superman was during its production, with many fandoms simply being all united in talking about how much the DCEU sucks.

There’s also a cancelled SS movie featuring Supergirl as a tease so you could use that to introduce both her and Deadshot to the universe

phase 1
spider man(the villain would be doc ock who would be peters mentor like Obadiah stane and would include peters origin and the pepper counterpart would be gwen, not mj, giving us spider gwen and would also include harry and norman osborne and peter would be played by andrew garfield exept with organic web shooters)
the incredible hulk would be the exact same movie as in real life exept it would include rick jones
spider man 2(villain's would be roxxon and electro and harry would become the hobgoblin but would be good and our war machine counterpart and petes web shooters would be poisoning him leading him to create a new element to save himself with the help of nick fury and shield and janet van dynes wasp would be involved somehow)
doctor strange(villain would be mordo, strange would become the master of the new york city sanctum and the ancient one would live for now. also hank pyms ant man would be involved somehow)
black panther:the first avenger(you choose the plot)
the avengers(villain would be mordo and the line up would be spider man,black panther,doctor strange(our big three)and hulk antman(hank) and wasp(janet) and rick jones would die like phil coulson

spider man four(villain would be venom and vulture(venom would be JJJ's son) tease eddie brock)
planet hulk(you choose the plot)
black panther wakanda forever(basically the exact same movie we got in real life even riri stays as a deal would be made that allowed riri to join this version of the mcu similar to spider man in the original mcu)
iron heart(villain would be modok and aim)
hawkeye 3(introduce kate bishop)
venom(eddie brock and venom bond and the villain is riot)
avengers secret invasion(basic secret invasion story but with a few twists and venom is involved and carnage is born)
avengers maximum carnage(carnage kills heroes and villains alike and at the end sets free knull and he covers the universe in darkness)
avengers endgame( spider man dies after merging with the light and venom becomes the new god of the symbiotes)
nova 3(he would face garthan saal and introduce starlord and adam warlock and gamora setting up the guardians of the galaxy and thanos)
miles morales,spiderman(miles become the new spiderman and kate bishop is involved and villain is the lizard)

Pretty much. Good or bad movies aside, the fact that the company has zero faith in their brands and announces films only to cancel them a week later is proof that they shouldn't get any of my money.
@@ScooterinAB So many cools characters and they rarely ever manage to make any good movies. Such a waste. Not only do they have great characters they also have more generations of characters than Marvel but it isn't like they will ever be able to get past the first generation.

You need to do one based off the joke villains in comics with an MCU structure. Imagine Kite Man, the Wall, Paste Pot Pete, The Bad Samaritan, Polka Dot Man, and others in their own screwed up universe.

The original version of the DCEU flash movie is completely different to what we are now getting.

Just fyi, the latest justice league dark comic has wonder woman as the leader (before DC cancelled that good series just like everything else). So your call to put wonder woman in justice league dark fits well.

I'm hearing all these cancelled movies and feel like we 100% didn't miss anything. A lot of these ideas sound not thought out at all. It seems like a lot of fans feel robbed by cancelations, but truly many of these didn't need a green light at all..

Because Warner Bros is dumb. I've heard people say that the movie sounded awful and would have tarnished the brand, but that wouldn't have mattered. Nothing is going to tarnish the Batman brand. NOTHING. We had Batman and Robin. We have decades of jokes about Batman being in... um... a relationship with at least one of the Robins. We had the Snyder films. None of those hurt the brand, so there's nothing Batgirl could have done.
Instead, the chose to write the movie off on their taxes, because when you are one of the biggest studios in Hollywood for some reason, you can just do that.
It must have been shit. Also if you want to create a profitable venture you stop the bleeding and start with some good stuff going forward and not try to earn from shit movies with a near future mindset.

Could you do another dc cinematic universe but completely different with new ideas, stories, movies not based off of the mcu or any existing movies but maybe just slightly inspired by those things. What I mean is, would you do more movies or less movies, would you do shows throughout the first 3 phases, would you even do it in phases, what would be the big story at the end or would you just a bunch different stories and maybe build up another story but not everything necessarily leads to Darkseid or whatever the big bad at the end would be. How would you do the justice league, would you go with the original lineup or just do the holy trinity and add 4 different characters of your choosing. Would you give every superhero their own movie. What heroes would you use. How many would their be. Would you use more obscure characters and teams???

We just learned Wonder Woman 3, a Batman Beyond movie with Michael Keaton, a different Man of Steel sequel, a Crisis on Infinite Earths movie, and possibly Black Adam 2 and the rest of the DCEU beyond 2023 are all cancelled so I think you need to already do an update to this video.
