    I am interested to see how the pieces hold up after several wears and washes. I've read reviews saying that buttons fall off, collars lose shape, etc.

    I appreciate that Bronson strives to maintain quality in their manufacture but the two A1 jackets I tried (about a year apart) both stunk to high heaven. The first I immediately returned but the second I gave it every chance. Had it out in the front porch off gassing for a few weeks, no change. Just for the hell of it I washed it cold, no change. Then I washed it hot, no change.
    Not sure how the leather is processed but I wouldn’t wear something that is so resistant to aggressive cleaning attempts.

      The main question is how the tanning process and the leather that they use. Thank you for sharing your experience; this is the only way to share knowledge, and therefore, we can have more information before buying from this brand or any brand. This is one of the purposes of this channel.

    I think this is a very good topic and I appreciate your honesty. Overall I agree with your conclusion, if someone wants to get a good quality heritage style piece of clothing but can’t afford the Japanese repro prices then BMFG is a good alternative. For some people spending $100 on a tshirt is just not realistic. I think the only concern is the labor practices since it is coming out of China.

    • @UrbanLadUK
      @UrbanLadUK  Před měsícem +1

      Not everyone can afford to spend a lot on heritage clothing, and this brand gives you the chance to buy what you like. Ethical manufacturing is something that each of us weighs in our decision to purchase a product. I agree with you

    very nice.. I just bought the iron heart chambray shirt in the same color.. I wonder how they compare. The fit looks the same as the Iron Heart XL

      The IH is more like Large in Bronson in the western cut, the work style is a tad smaller than the Bronson

      @@UrbanLadUKI believe no matter the quality heritage consumers and denimheads will continue buying Japanese made products. I’ve no data, just a belief. I know quite a few that gave it a shot to Chinese items but stick to Japanese “traditional” brands

      Buy from Bronson directly. I have done it, and it is safe and free of taxes. The version without a stamp have no chain stitch runoff and cost $36

    I have many of their t-shirts. I really like the fit of the athletic t-shirt. That said, I am concerned about how little information is available about their labour practices. Like yourself I have no way of knowing what their labour practices are bit I'd just rather find companies that are more transparent about it. So I'd like to move away from Bronson with future purchases but it's kind of hard to take a gamble on an expensive Japanese shirt not really knowing how it will fit on me.

      The quality is good, and the price tags are excellent for what they offer. Japanese repro is top-notch, but the price tag is painful. It all depends on the budget and the sizing because the size of the Japanese brands tends to target Japanese body measurements. In general, if you are a big lad, it could be a problem. The key is to take measurements and compare them with the size charts before buying anything
