It was probably intentional, but I did think it was pretty funny they would ask 2 of the most distinctive voices in Hollywood (OK, Arkin has a pretty distinctive voice as well but it's not imitated nearly as much as Freeman and Caine).
Try listening to his own reading of his audiobook "The Elephant To Hollywood". It's partially autobiography and it's so great to hear it from the man himself! :)
