The X95K was so impressive when I looked at it, I ended up taking back my new LG C2 to get the X95K. I'd already been spoiled by my C7 OLED from 2017 and I still love that tv. But this X95k is next level s***.
Not Oled. Definitely downgraded
@@NexGenTeks an owner of an OLED and a bright LED tv, I would say I prefer OLED for movie watching but HDR gaming looks better on bright high nit LED tv. And you don’t have to worry about pausing a game for too long on LED tv.
@@pboissie You probably have a old oled the new OLEDs hitting over 1,000nits look better than a led
@@NexGenTek thats true, especially these new QD OLEDs and Evo panels, my C9 lookin like a plasma in comparison lol but i mainly use it in dark room atleast
@@NexGenTekoled sucks, fking burn in
Thx for the straight to the point review!
Great job.
Hey Kevin! Love your content always. I’m starting out on my journey and I was trying to look at your camera gear link..but the link appears to be broken
Great TV Best Mini LED TV
Really hope they come out with 55inch version
I love this channel
Great video. Thanks. Singapore Sony at NEX selling display set X95K 65 inch at $2999. A90K 48 inh selling at $3199 ( can be reduce to $2900), which do u recommend? Also, do u forsee A90M releasing in jun 2024? TY
Merry Christmas
Don’t know if I should spend 2 grand on this or 4 grand on the A90j 83”
input leg?
How about those rainbows?
This tv Is amazing I have the 85 inch love this tv
I just ordered it so you do recommend it
@@Socialmediaisvile I sure do I love my tv best 5k I spent
How’s the blooming?
Heck with blooming how about all the rainbows I saw during the review. Surprise the reviewer did not mention it.
Art setup for your tv here. 🤚🤚
Let’s please stop using angle viewing as a category to judge a TV. I have never watched a TV sitting on the side of it.
😅🤣 I know right
Yes but some do at times. Viewing angles are important to people but not u and that's cool.
@@michael-4k4000 not to alot of people. Who gives two shits about extreme viewing angles
It does happen believe it or not. Especially in certain circumstances when you have company and they’re all playing a multiplayer game on the TV. Not everyone can sit directly in front it it 🤷🏻♀️ that just one instance. I have sat I. These odd angles quite often visiting people because it was the only place left to sit. Let’s not hate on some just because it doesn’t pertain to you. It does to someone else 😊
@@madie600 what about "White Boy Rich" he's the real deal!
Looks beautiful I’m still using a Sony Z9D. I’m guessing the X95X looks far superior. Been thinking of making the jump to OLED
Z9D was so ahead back in 2016. I still get impressed by it everyday when I turn it on.
X95k is basically a modern Z9D. I'd wager you still have a more uniform panel. Although most X95k owners report the uniformity issues only seem visible on menus where there's no local dimming. X95L seems to have a big improvement in upscaling tech. there's always something better out there.
Jump son jump... you should be buying a new TV every year anyway
@@MajorOSC the J, K, and L series all use the same XR processor. The one difference is the 8K sets. Those use the XR 8K processor.
@@MajorOSC There is no X95L. It's an x93L and it's literally the same tv as an x95k.
Is the Sony X95K 85" better than the LG C2 Oled Evo 83"? Some people say that right out of the box the Sony is better because the LG needs to be calibrated.
Yes it is
@@denissssss8579 no
What is the matrix of the matrix in it?
Sony is silent and does not give such information, some bloggers say that there are not honest 10 bits, but 8bit + FRC.
I had x95h it was 10bit. Sony always use true 10 bit on flagship models
@@tizzi91able I may grieve you, but you have not correct data, this model Sony X95H has not honest 10 bits, there is 8 Bits + FRC, however, like the 2021 model Sony XR-75x95J there is also a matrix of 8 BITS + FRC.
Even on the DisplaySpecifications website, they have already changed characteristics, although they had 10 bits before.
Sony is cunning and does not give information about this for its customers, at least for new LED or Miniled TV models.
Therefore, at the moment, the question is open how much the matrix of the Sony XR-75x95K.
At the moment, 10 bits are confirmed only by OLED models.
@@UgonHarleev lier
@@NexGenTek Don't understand who is the liar? About what?
77" A95L vs 85" X95L will be a VERY hard decision to make for Sony Fans, and tho I would prefer 85" size, the A95L most likely will blow me away too much so I'd still choose QD Oled.
Oleds have one major flaw - the more brightness on the screen the lower the nits. 100% bright screen reducing the peak brightness 4-5 times! X95L wouldn't have that problem and it's also burn-in resistant and the black levels are outstanding. 100% bright screen would reduce the peak brightness of about 40% on the X. The A couldn't beat this.
@@ps4games164 have you seen the A95L at all already ? Lol it looks stupid phenomenal, best looking TV in the world right now. 👑 MiniLED looks washed out next to it.
@@TheAntifluencer
No but I've saw A95K and it wasn't good enough. Something in the colors. I have ZH8 (LED Sony) and that TV is rocking. I guess you are one of the guys who judging very fast. I don't know where you made your comparison but X95L is officially the top Sony this year so I'll trust them more than i would trust you. X95L is the better TV overall. My ZH8 LED isn't anything washed out, believe me. And I'm not someone who can be easily impressed.
@@ps4games164 A95K and A95L massive difference, Colors are popping now in Games, like on the S95C, A95L is 1500 Nits bright, A95K is 900 Nits, A95L now challenges X95L Brightness but with better Color depth, because QD Oled colors are superior to MiniLED, sry.
@@ps4games164 X95L isn't Sony's "top TV" this year lol, A95L is their Master series flaghip, 77 inch costs 6299 € here in Europe, meanwhile I can get 85 inch X95L for 4499 € lol, the better technology has it's price.
To me something worse than blooming is the Rainbows from the anti reflection / wide angle coating. It’s very distracting when viewing. Are all reviewers paid not to bring up the rainbow effect?
Sadly thats just modern TV's. It's a side effect from the anti glare tech. Better than seeing a mirror like image staring back at you though. And much better than blurry matte screens.
1:55 "the tv wobbles when... touched" 😳😳
Without Blooming?
@Techninjaspeak587 Has the Sony, Blooming?
@@frankbruning6998 yes , and as it gets brighter its actually worse than the 95j , which is odd .. so much for progress
@@flappospammo I cannot see the picture from Sony and the picture from my LED for a comparsion
Adobe Vision is not a thing. I think you meant Dolby Vision...
Audio on this video is really low can barely hear
Im on my knees begging someone to buy me the 85 inch one. Pay it foward..
Where’s the comparison with LG set? Title a bit misleading
the video is just noise, like static on a TV there is audio but the video is like static on an old TV
I have a mini led monitor.. mini led is awsome for HDR but the darks are awful.. the blooming is wreaking the pic quality
What monitor is it?
Mini led monitors and tvs aren't even in the same stratosphere
I bought this TV about 4 days ago and it's MID AF. Going to return it. Got a 75in for 2400 with warranty and taxes.
What do you dislike about it.? I was considering getting this or the Samsung qn95b 75”
@@Bentwest Maybe he's used to oversaturated Samsung TV's and thinks a more accurate image is worse. This is one of the best tv's you get right now
He didn’t want DV 😂
@@proggz39how is the blooming With gaming
Had the 85in. Was probably the best LED tV I bought. I got rid of it because it was a little too expensive for me lol. I ended up going with the Samsung qn95b at 85in for $1,000 less. And though it’s not quite as good. The Sony is not $1,000 better
You downgraded yourself my man. How foolish!
I totally agree. That was some foolish comment
Why buy it if it was too expensive? That doesn't make any sense
sony be buggin with their pricing
@@eman1549 I got my X95k 85" for $2,985 (open box). Looks perfect. I agree. I couldn't afford new. But a little secret trick if you want flagship models at killer prices is to check Best buy several times a day In the weeks after the super bowl. You would be surprised how many people end up splurging on a flagship tv just to impress their guests, and then return the TV the following week.
Its not bright enough, peak luminance is only 1400 in 2% window. My z9f get 1900 on par with my s22 ultra.
Shame about the feet , my 95j has the same , bloody awful
I replaced the Sony 900E with first the 90k full array and then the x95K, mini LED. They are clearly the worst TV's I have seen in my life. Skin tones constantly are changing, There is a haze that covers the screen depending on the dominant color. I rewatched shows that I had previously seen and they look awful on these sets. I had PBS on this morning and one minute it was yellow, to cyan, to green to magenta skin tones, all in one show. Soccer on NBC, Skin tones bright yellows, grass, lime green. Apple TV goes dull with a green haze. I never touched the settings on the 900E. Now, I have the remote in my hands all the time. Garbage. I am so disappointed in Sony. They clearly have gone downhill after the XBR900E.
my 95j has terrible motion handling of flat surfaces , on football etc , apparently all the processing turns off when panning starts , which is crazy , probably due to a crappy underpowered gpu
OLED TV and laser TV are the latest TV technology. Mini TV is a funny and ludicrous product. It just fool the tech dummies. Sony is not a top brand anymore. Ridiculous.
LOL....I think this model is good but expensive.
Too expensive for a Led.. ALL bS
You know Sony makes OLEDs too right?
@@branbrentpatrick9780 it's definitely overpriced, especially compared to last yrs x95j.
The hate against LCD-based TVs is insane, but even after so many years, OLEDs and Laser TVs still have never matched any LED panel in terms of shear peak luminance and display lifespan.
With MicroLED coming in the future, all OLEDs will be rendered useless, as MicroLED takes all the best of OLEDs and LEDs while disregarding their own respective weaknesses at the same time.
