I think Beth is more appreciated in the Netherlands than anywhere else.. We Dutchies love her and she loves us back.
Beth is very much appreciated here in New Zealand by us Kiwi's & we have carried on loving her since day one, Beth's 1999 single "LA Song" from her album "Screamin' for My Supper" was a number one hit in New Zealand,
(And the top 5 of the US Adult Contemporary and Top 10 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 charts.) Beth IS appreciated all over the World!
Thirsty: Amsterdam is in the Netherlands?
Don’t get carried away there Thirsty. We definitely love her here in the good ole US of A too. I just saw Beth in February in Pennsylvania, and she laid down an incredible three plus hours of everything from Led Zeppelin to Etta James with a whole lot of Beth all the way through. ♥️✌🏼😎♥️
@@ronnyrono782 Yes...
@@ronnyrono782 Biggest city in the Netherlands, yep.
I saw an interview with Beth and she had me crying she's just a beautiful young lady inside and out I already loved her singing and then fell in love with her as a person she's just absolutely amazing
Welcome to the phenomenon that is Beth Hart. Her and Joe together is a bonus
Thank you for this video. I listen to Beth every day and never get tired, she is a musical genius! Love from Rome, Italy.
I've listened to this hundreds of times. It's still my favorite performance of all times. Beth and Joe are magnificent. Thank you for this reaction.
Glad you like this one... Now you are ready for I'll Take Care of You (live in Beacon Theatre, NY). Success!!
A whole stage full of world class blues performers .Beth is Awesome and Joe and his band are 👍 enjoyed your reactions as always
Joe is a monster player. The way he just sticks in the groove is very impressive
If you look close behind Beth just after Joe's beautiful guitar solo, notice how Joe politely bows his head to his drummer -- lol, Yup; Joe knew how good that solo was, He killed it! --
I have watched Beth sing this song (on yootoob) in many different live venues, and she does do it different every time. And while they are all great, this one is easily my favorite 👍
Beth Hart for the win 👍👍
Beth has most certainly paid her dues. She should be far more famous than she is. Her collaboration with Joe is magic.
Absolutely agree, love Beth so much , everytime I listen to this song she makes me cry
One of the best vocalists alive paired with one of the best guitarists alive = magic!
I've got the Blu-Ray of this amazing show. This song was the encore; the twenty-first song in the set.
Beth teaches your ears what a real vocalist is all about
Beth Hart is one of the most amazing singers out there today, and when Beth and Joe pair up they are equally amazing, as they are in there own careers with their own bands. Check out more from this concert "Somethings Got a Hold On Me", "Nutbush City Limits", "Close to My Fire" live in Amsterdam, just to name a few. Love it when new people listen to Beth, she is so worth hearing. You should see some of her solo work with her band. Start with Beth Hart "Am I the One" live at Paradiso, "Mama" live at Paradiso, "Leave the Light On" live at Paradiso, "Broken and Ugly" live a Paradiso, Beth Hart "Caught Out in the Rain" live at Royal Albert Hall, "Take it Easy on Me" live at Royal Albert Hall. There's a good start. Love your reaction.
I love Beth Hart.
This is perfection on the musical stage - It could never be bettered unless there actualy is a heavenly choir!
I loved watching you feel this song, every word and note, and you showed every emotion. Loved that alot.
Really enjoyed your reaction to Beth Hart. I believe you would enjoy watching Beth when it is just her behind a piano. Two great songs are “Leave The Light On” and “Take It Easy On Me” both performed at Royal Albert Hall, 2018
One of my favorite performances to watch people react to! 👍🙂
It is like the guitar is sentient. It is alive and aware of itself!
Chills ! Chills !! Oh my goodness❤️
Beth Hart is amazing 🔥🔥
Came here because of Joe , stayed because of Beth ! Never heard of her before 😳, but oh my god ! Shades of Janis Joplin 🥰😍❤️. I’ve listened to at least 10 reactions, cannot get enough ❤️💞.
Listening to this gives me a lump in my throat, Beth is massively underrated and under appreciated
I loved every second, just watching you react to this great song !! You hung on every note, from the band, and every word Beth was singing. Beth & Joe seem to inspire each other and Joe's solo has to rank in the "Top 10 All-Time" guitar solo's. You are probably an amazing teacher too. Keep it up !!
It actually is the Etta James song..
I thought no one was going to mention it and I had decided not to. You could say Beth makes it her own in some ways. There are some songs that certain artists have covered that you just think "okay that is theirs now, nobody else should be able to do it ever again". I think this falls into that category for me.
Beth and Joe together are like Magic together individually they also are amazing
Love watching you react to this great performance. This song was a second encore, of a 10 song set. Keep it up !!
Thx Valerie! Your breakdown was spot on. Beth feels the music in EVERY song she sings, looked like you were feeling it also... GREAT reaction!
Love watching you react to this song. This song was the second encore in a 20 song set !!
Great song and performance by Beth.
Joe is incredible of course.
Camine Rojas on bass is also world class, has played with many greats.
I’d suggest live version of Joe B from Royal Albert Hall especially ‘Ill be asking around for you.’ I just got chills thinking about it.
Love watching you react to this song. Your eyes tell the story, and you seemed to hang on every note and vocal. Keep it up !!
This is the greatest female vocalist I've ever heard in my life . Absolutely Amazing and my favorite!
Excellent performance! Thank you for reacting to this! 👏👏
Beth and Joe absolutely amazing fantastic reaction love and respect from the UK 👍👍👍👍👍👍🌟😀😀 amazing 👍
Can't stop watching !!
@3:56: Your interjection, "I relate." So many of us can. Glad I stumbled onto your channel. Honest, heartfelt reaction. Plus I learned some things.
I'm really excited, I'm going to see Joe in Boston in August. To my ear he's the greatest living guitarist.
To hear Joe Sing check out Joe Bonamassa Angel of Mercy or Woke Up Dreaming or Mountain Time
Very good analysis! I like how You explained the tempo in it! And what You said about the emotions she's expressing on stage! Oh, an what about Joe Bonamassa? One of the very greatest around, today! What a talented and great guy! Thanks for sharing Your thoughts! 🤩
Love it !!
Great reaction, Val. As an old blues singer myself (and bassist), Beth's performance always causes me the glassy eyes since her heart is completely in it. Thank you for your acknowledgement of the blues as "root" music to rock and roll. The blues requires incredible and original musicians or it can all sound alike. But no one has done this song better than Beth (apologies to Etta James, I still love you).
I love Beth Hart!!
Beth loves me, she's told me
In my fxxxxxg dreams
This is actually the 2nd, and final, encore for the concert.
Yes, she DEFINITELY went all out in the song before... "Nutbush City Limits" another GREAT cover!
That’s what I rembered. And it was HOT in there, the Carré.
Amazing isnt it. Couldnt be better. Couldnt be more powerful
That Joe can play
also an amazing Janis Joplin type performance by Beth is Beth Hart Am I The One live from Paradiso
Hello Valerie!
Great to see you , I love your reactions.
I'd like to recomend checking out another great blues artist.
Jeff Healey (passed away much to young) he sings and
plays guitar in a bit different way....
Jeff Healey - 'See The Light' - Night Music 1988
Is a great live perfomance on a TV-show.
Angel Eyes · The Jeff Healey Band
is a great blues ballad.
Stay safe , greatings from Sweden !
Beth is for me the best singer on planet Earth nowdays. So what are U talking about? :D
you should hear the two of them cover Bille Holiday "Strange Fruit"
Surely wish you would use headphones so you can really hear the music. HEADPHONES, HEADPHONES, HEADPHONES!
This IS an Etta James song. Janis Joplin was a groundbreaker, but she could have only dreamed of having the voice and range Beth Hart has. Plus, Beth plays the piano!
By the way... You rock the gray hair lady!
Talk about negative space: even the guitar solo puts in "breaks" (as if he has to catch his breath before he let the pent up emotions out). The pauses makes the intense guitar riffs more impactful.
Negative space in art makes room for people, emotions and individuality ..
Exactly! Love this!
"Negative space in art makes room for people, emotions and individuality .." Can I share this? I would love to credit you. ❤️
@@VocalSplendorStudios sure, please do 😆
If you think you are ready for it, review Beth's performance of 'Am I The One' live at the Paradiso! She goes totally nutso!

Yes, it’s not as sedate, as this!
@@RobRager I'm thinking if she watches it, Valerie might actually go blind! LOL
Is that the one where she sits on the floor with the front row?
@@vincentwhitley1119 Yup...
Amsterdan?
I would love to see you do a reaction to the singer Danelle Nicole she used to be in a blues band with her brothers, but now she is solo but here is the song I would love to hear you react to: Trampled Under Foot -- Goodbye -- Bonita Blues Fest 2012

My biggest regret yet. I was on holidays and missed Beth in A´dam. But my hateful friends saw her and they will never let it go. That´s why I will never go on holiday again. This will never happen to me again. Never ! I would rather go blind and be a hermit.
Slow hand Santana
Not a 12 bar blues. Also it's in 3/4 not 4/4.
Hear Larkin Poe - Bleach Blonde Bottle Blues. These girls are Great.
You must be fool to cover songs of legendary singers like Etta James or Robert Plant or you must be a lion heart legend. Be sure that Beth is that kind of lioness...
I don't want to be a ass but as a teacher she has been around for 15 years
Hear Faouzia's new songs Anybody Else and I Know too.
Yeah, this is next level stuff. Beth isn't a huge star probably because she had a big drug problem and burnt a lot of bridges, then later on didn't fit into the normal music industry.
She lost all credibility when she mentioned angelina jordan.
