    The uv resin will bond to pla but not after the primer. I've used resin to bond pla prints. I also recommend a uv pen light for curing the resin. I use cheap paint brushes to apply resin

    Hey Frank. I use meshmixer to cut models and add rods too. I found that making the hole in mm isn't too bad as long as you can easily convert it to inches so you won"t have to use tape on the threaded rod

    Something I learned from Adam Savage is that Baking Soda works just like the activator for CA glue. It also hardens and fills the seams much better for bigger props.

    Wondering if putting the filler primer on first is what made the resin not react properly 🤔 tempted to give it a go when I finally get my Arc trooper helmet printed. That's if the extruder ever arrives from Sydney lol

    Sometimes I use superglue and baking soda to fill in small holes/gaps. Try it out if u haven’t already.

    i bought the ender 3 max, thanks to your recomendation, i am happy with it, and so i want to ask you a question, i am 3d printing kratos leviathan axe, but i notice the parts to be hollow, but like 1 inch diamater hollow, what can i use to strenghten it, metal rods are not that big, and i don´t seem to find something that fits :p, what would you recomend?

    Hey Frank ,can you touch the blade with out the graphite coming off on your hands? i tried this and it kept coming of on my hands even days later. I thought maybe i did something wrong.

    Mix baby powder and superglue into a paste, best trick I've learnt to hide seams

    Is there a technique to cut models up with mitred edges? joining mitres makes a much smoother joint and with a little filler joints are hard to see

      in a cad program you could use a Cone shape for cutting. i think mechmixer can do it too

    Do you think the graphite rub would be a good paint color to paint a Mjolnir hammer with? I’ve never heard of it until this video and it looks like a good match

    Hay Frank, when doing a graphite rub are all gloss blacks equal, all of my attempts are not as metal looking as your stuff, using the same graphite powder as you but they look way darker once done.

    Heyy Frank. Your an awesome builder for the cosplay Iron Man suits. After the creation of mk 85, now you're in the process of making mk 39. It's a kind request as a fan of yours. Can you make more Iron Man suits, the House Party Protocol from Iron Man 3? The one which Tony stores his armours in his basement. After the completion of mk 39, can you make these too?     I know this is probably a silly question but, have you ever had your PLA gear melt in the car on the way to a con? I understand if it was left in there all day, but like, en route, in a container? I'm debating between that or switching to PETG

    So for builds like this, so you only do one pass with the electric sander and then filler primer? Does that usually get rid of the layer lines?

    How many rolls of filament does it take to print an iron man suit, and do you have any tips on how to make paint look like brushed metal?

      I don’t always use it haha I’ve only use it on 2 swords so far. All my other blades are metallic spray paint
