Been to SC for the first time in Myrtle Beach. Had Calabasas seafood buffet it was good. Beach was amazing. And the crowd was crazy. Reminded me of Florida and California.
Thanks for sharing! sounds like you had a good time!đ
This is my favorite buffet in Myrtle Beach. We own a condo in Garden City and will be coming down next week from Richmond, Va and will be eating here like always when we come down.
Glad you enjoy it! Have a great trip!
The food looked so amazing especially all the options. Great video.
Thanks so much!
@@CarmenandBrian You're very welcome.
Yes! Glad you were able to check out Crabby Mikes. I'd also say this is the best seafood buffet too đ
We go here every visit we take to MB
Thatâs awesome!
Glad you enjoyed it. Looked delish. As I commented on one of your previous videos, Crabby Mike's is the only buffet that we've found to be good every single time. Sometimes we just don't feel like the long wait there though and will go somewhere else, which we sometimes regret. *cough Pirate's Table cough*.
I agree that the layout of dining and food bars could be improved. I haven't noticed the food being too salty here though ( we stopped going to Original Benjamin's because the crab legs started getting crazy salty).
The food here was not oversalted, that comment was regarding captain Georges seafood buffet. Luckily at 4 there was no wait! đ
I love seafood and it looks like this buffet has a lot of kid friendly options for my family who aren't adventurous eaters.
Yes of all the buffets we've been to, I think this one caters to kids the most.
Thanks for the video. đĽđĽđĽ
You bet!
Glad you guys had a chance to try it. We live in NC, but just about everytime we're in Myrtle Beach we go there. Have been to Captain George's once and thought it was ok. Think you're paying more for the ambiance at C.G. but think food is better at C.M.
I would totally agree with that assessment.
We always mentioned going to crabby Mike's, but never did get around to going there, it looks really good
Food was great, wish the noise & layout were better.
Looks good! Love the name!
đ
Wow never been there but what a spread of food for sure. Id think hard to beat place. Only thing I'd not like is noisy. Id be worthless the rest of the day after eating there. Thanks for sharing
Yep the food was very good but it was quite noisy and the Buffet area was chaotic because of the way itâs laid out.
Hello delicious food, seafood đđđ
It was tasty!
Great review. Not a lot of seafood items. Seems like a regular buffet place with a seafood name.. Any broiled seafood ie. broiled scallops or steamed shrimp? Fried food not really good. Are the crab legs steamed?
We shared every single item on the buffet in the video. Yes there were cold, peel and eat shrimp and also boiled warm shrimp. Yes, the crab legs are steamed. There was also steamed mussels and clams. Most of the seafood was fried there. Glad you enjoyed the review!
Have you tried the pirates table? They have live mermaids swimming in the restaurant
We have not tried it yet.
Yummy đĽ°
It was!

I'm heading out now and dropped in to read some comments. I'll be sure come back to share my experience.
Thanks for sharing!
Been there and like it but Crabby George's in NMB is better. Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching!
We just went here. $48.99 each. Crab legs were very tiny. Hardly any meat in them. Tiny plates. We had to keep going back and when we did the two girls serving the crab legs would be out. They have talkie talkies on but would wait until completely out to call for more. They were most likely instructed to do so. Someone impersonating the dead Mike arakas said they pay close to $12 for 3 clusters before cooking them
That's a bummer! Maybe because we went at 4pm, but there were always plenty of crab legs while we were there.
I haven't been to MB in quite some time. I didn't know things had become so costly. Used to have a time share there so we came every year. After my husband passed away, I sold the time share but I am coming for a week in May. I don't think I'll be eating here. The atmosphere is too much like Golden Corral which I do not like and no way could I eat $48.99 worth of food--even if I stayed for several hours. This is a definite "No" for me but thank you for the review.
Yes, the buffets have gotten incredibly high lately.
I own and rent my condo out in Myrtle Beach....I tell people...STAY AWAY FROM THE BUFFET'S...I am a big fan of Bimini's myself.... Food is always spot on...
đđđ¤
Have you been to Crabby Georgeâs, if so how was it?
We have not tried that one.
@@CarmenandBrian thank you
Yea. Its alright. But its closed down when i go in the winter
Yes you're correct, they do close down for the off-season.
Good Skrimps ? âĽď¸
haha yes!
With turnover being what it is at these joints nowadays perhaps you just have to get lucky. Original Benjamin's has been both fantastic and gross due to this very thing. Same thing with Mike's and Captain George's.
We've started just sticking to the calabash area for both fried and fresh seafood from their restaurants and seafood markets. As far as eating in Myrtle we like the sea Captain's house quite a bit. Johnny D's has some pretty tasty eats, but that's not seafood at all. đ
We really love Sea Captain's house! My folks love Johnny D's. We haven't been there yet but we'll try it sometime!
@@CarmenandBrian we liked the Johnny D's in Myrtle better than the newer one in North Myrtle. If you like Benedicts there's hardly a better place. The sweet stuff is diabetes fantastic. đ
I have eaten at most seafood buffets in Myrtle Beach and Crabby Mike's was one of my least favorite. But in this video it looks good and I don't remember them having fried scallops.
The food was good. It was a bit noisy however with lots of kids running around.
@@CarmenandBrian Yeah well that's Myrtle Beach for you families and kids. That's why we go in September or October when the kids are back to school. And we usually stay for 5 days Monday through Friday, and get out of there before the weekend crowd piles in. đ¤đđ
It's ok but I still prefer Bennetts in MB.

BEST SEAFOOD BUFFET IN MYRTLE BEACH. CAPT GEORGES HAS GONE WAY DOWNHILL
We still enjoy both, but crabby Mike's is great!
