You could nerf the damage by half and i would still play boomkin. It's not the damage i love, its how much control you have over the game. The ammount of cc is fabulous. Root,clone,knock,silence , stun, ect.
Its not the damage thats an issue my love, its the talent high winds, oh and the that boomies have an enrage timer, and they will hit it almost every game due to the meta

Its quite easy when u put buttons that do simmilar stuff on the same buttons, at least thats what i do to multi class

i do that too, sorting by utility/mobility/defense/attack etc .. but Pro players r just on anither level on how fking quick they learn

I sweated my way to 1800 on my main arms warrior and then swapped to my new boomkin alt and went 23-5 just tab target aoeing and root beaming on cd. Absolutely vile spec. Getting ret pala PTSD

Isn't running aoe build sometimes not the best only cause u can break teammates cc's? Like I hesitate to use it in shuffles cause I'm afraid I'll keep breaking sheeps, blinds, etc... even tho I will top dmg with aoe build I question whether it's worth it.
what mind fucks me is how much he doesn't get targeted, like at all. Meanwhile on my boomy, people just train the ever living fuck out of me.

starburst is good against melees cuz all melees always go boomy so u can control the burst and kite them up

At a high level yes. There's lots you can do micro wise that sets apart a decent spriest vs an extremely good one.
@C J B arh, not everyone can be hard trained with any caster. Casters are still not easy, but the precoq on gear helps

It's hardly viable. It's just able to be played if you have a good partner to finish kills. Warlock/Mage are far better to replace a boomkin in any comp and they can actually finish kills.

If a dps class pops all their offensive CDs and sets up a "go", and if said opponent doesn't do anything to mitigate that burst i.e pop a defensive or CC then that opponent should die. Its not hard to understand how a rogue works, most dps classes just don't require the brain power to figure it out.
"Hmm the rogue just CC'd my healer, I should probably do something to prevent the impending burst..."

Do you remember TBC arenas? Nothing was balanced, yet people claim it was amazing. Even WOTLK wasn't balanced. Just because everything is good doesn't mean it's balanced. Retail is facing the same problem, every class is busted and 'fun' to play right now (apart from outlaw and frost dk maybe), the problem is that every class has too many things, too much CC, too much mobility. Now, if you stopped playing the game because of class balance, you're just not the same person you were when you fell in love for the game, cause that's pretty much impossible to achieve.
