Ngl maybe I’m natural but I liked healing solo shuffles when they came out and just started healing in SL right before they did come out.. on a disc priest when Hpriest was meta almost every comp.. I pushed 2.2 first season not a bit feat but it’s not that rough just have to be more cautious than a brain dead dps

I used to be a healer. Something I learned and still looks true based on this: NEVER expect your dps to look at where you are or what's going on with you at all! Your dps does not give a single shit, they just assume you're next to them, 100% fine 24/7

Quit wow after about 6 years, was a priest main, that was about 6 years ago, the recent arena streams and Pika have sparked my interest again, dont know if thats a good thing, but this healing experience from Pika was exactly how it goes. SUBBED!

I have a resto shaman at 2k MMR solo shuffle and a preservation evoker that got stuck at 1200 MMR. It's a nightmare trying to get that dragon out of the mental sinkohle that is 1200 MMR dps players. They line their healer harder than they line the enemy dps. They die behind pillars with defensive cooldowns left, they press their wall at 5 % health like it does something then and they kick nothing. They also just sit and take all enemy cooldowns like it doesn't hurt at all. Only reason why my disc and shaman are at higher MMR is that I feel like I can actually carry some games with the damage and utility I have. Without it it's down to pure luck in the first 5 lobbies with your dps.
evoker does more damage than 80% of healers（not as much as disc in 10.0.5）
@@derrychen6923 It sure does if you dont have to use your essences/living flames on healing and even then it's not "kill securing" damage that can actually carry. Atleast that's my issue with it, or maybe I just play it wrong.
@@theFirstAidKit you are right，its not “kill securing” damage，but in SS，i feel like its all about giving persure to your opponent，making they use defensive cds or trickets first，then，slowly securing your wins（maybe really fast in SS），thats why i think DISC is NO1 healer in SS now， DISC does way too much damage in 10.0.5
This is just proof that no one ever will do this willingly. It's too much anxiety, stress, and sheer pain to heal solo shuffle.

@C J B ive healed since vanilla and can't break 1400, just made a rogue a week ago for the first time and already 2600 ss. You can lie to yourself all you want. Healing is at its worst state ever. Meanwhile a new player on dps can still hit 2600+ and pretty sure I could do it on any dps class since its so overtuned right now
Pro tip: As a priest, there is a talent that lets you steal mage polymorph or lock fear for 20 seconds. They can't use it and you get to enact sweet revenge on the enemy healer.
As someone who mains a Disc priest, this was absolutely satisfying to watch. 😂 If only more dps-only players can dip their toes in healing so they can understand.

I played some evoker solo shuffle earlier. Won a 6 round game, gained 76 rating. Won 2 rounds lost 56 rating. Won 3 twice gain 0. Most of the time you have to HARD carry your dps mistakes. As evoker I've started to realise that damage is a priority for me. Also I never let them get low in the first place, use my cd straight away.

That 411 requirement SUUUUCKS! I'm not a pvp person but I decided to do the solo shuffle for coins for the Trading Post. Took me a large part of a day to earn all the random pvp currency to buy enough pvp gear to get 411

same its why i went back to DPSing in SS. ima 2.4k hpally main but currently stuck at around 1600. i got 3-3 alot and i get disc lobbies alot that i can very easily go 0-6 if the disc knows what hes doing.
It's an old memory but I swear I've seen you play a Tauren Holy Paladin.
It's exactly what happens everytime. 3-3 80% of the time for 0 points. 4-2 for 2 points. 2-4 for -60points. I gave up today after 300 games. I don't even heal my self for the whole game trying to be the target so I can out-position dps, but it's so sad at this point. People dying without pressing a single defensive and yelling at you because you are a bad healer while doing twice the heal and dps of other healer. I don't even talk about CCs and DR. Or lining me as prevoker. Oh and the fact that other healer can dispel my whole healing with a single button.
Long story short, I git gud and I quit healing. GL to the dps, pvp is over for me this season in SoloQ. If you did not grind week 1 your way up to high mmr with good players, you are stuck forever at lower ranks. Healers can't carry anything. MMR is fucked.

Not true, he litterally just prover that. 2400 in blues never healed before. Now he's like 2.8-2.9. you can do more than you think healing. Need to turn that mind set around. I user to think the same as you and I didn't climb. Then I realized blaming the doa I was never going to Improve. Now I'm 2.3. sure nothing amazing but a big jump.

Pikaboo can be number 1 on multiple classes. He is on rogue, on war ... he plays 8+ hours a day while I work. Does the experience pika have the average experience every healer is offered ?
The true mindset is being ok waisting hours of practice and skillset to people that do not care throwing a game they waited 1h to play :D. Then if you don't get mad after 2h of queuing, 60 matches to win 25 points total, then you'll progress.

Now I manned up, turned my attitude around. and now I'm close to 2.4.
Now sure 2.4 is not that high I get that, but better than the 1900 that I was at. And still climbing hopefully. All I really read from your post is good players climb? I'm sure you can do it mate, I have 100% faith you can, you just need to take some accountability, and carry some of these idiots through.

This is why disc and preservation are best for solo shuffle. Atleast u can get your teamates to reposition with grip and rescue. 60% of solo shuffle is positioning. The amount of times i say "where tf are you going" or "wtf are you doing." Is beyond imaginable. Glad im not the only one

It’s hilariously relatable watching Pika lose his mind in solo shuffle. Imo he should start with inner light and switch if dps is looking sturdy and effective. Haha
As a healer I still feel that the performance of the DPS just matters a lot more than that of the healer. As a healer you can only "carry" your team so much. I finally broke 2K rating on my Disc now and it is a lot more enyoable to play than the lower ratings even though the pace is faster because when the DPS make less stupid mistakes it feels like your performance is actually more impactful. With my other healers I'm still stuck in the 1400-1600 bracket and it is very hard to get out of there because a lot of the games end with one DPS going 0:6 or 6:0 which automatially ends in a 3:3 for the healers just like in Pikas first shuffle. Sometimes you are going like 1:5 or 0:6 and cannot really do much because the DPS just randomly play awful when paired with you and then play better with the other healers. Of course this also can go in your favor, but in the end it is a lot of randomness in the low ratings with not much possibilities for yourself.

disc requires a rotation imo. the heal/aton buff then dps rotation. imo

the biggest difference with solo shuffle heals vs dps is that a good dps can position himself conveniently for his healer, but a healer is helpless if his teamates completly line with enemy offensives up XD

If you level through questing and BGs you will cap you honor by leveling.... by the time you hit 70 you can buy full honor 411 gear... the effort is in the leveling
