    this is not centre line method, in centre line you have to consider the T junctions, in your plan you have to consider 2 T junctions and total length of wall will be length-(number of junctions)×breadth/2

    • @Abubakar-jj9sj
      @Abubakar-jj9sj Před 5 lety +10

      here we have two junctions . the formula is length - ( number of junction)x breadth/2 so they cancelled each other like 2 x breadth/2 is equal to breadth understood

    Hello I was thinking during “centerlines method” you take the following into account. No. Of T junctions and excavation width/2.
    TW= CL- width/2 *No of T junctions

    And where is T section deduction ? Because at the intersection of the wall you are including the region of superposition of walls so you have to remove that superimposition of wall portion .

    I have a one dought ..If you long walls do we excavate the land with the breadth of 0.9 m
    Then after short walls doing already land was exacvate in edges of short walls... But again you considered the total length of short wall..4+0.3
    Instead of 4+0.3-0.45-0.45(already land was excavated in long walls)

    Brother your method is totally wrong. The lengths of the walls will change according to the breadths. You forgot all about T joints, and it made all calculations wrong. If you write this in exam teacher will give 0. No mercy. But i like your slow explanation, please learn the proper way first and then delete this video and do one more.

    DEAR, IN THIS CENTRE LINE METHOD HAVE ONE MORE EQUATION . YOUR TOTAL LENGTH IS CLEAR BUT WHEN YOU MENTIONED IN TABLE LENGTH IS DIFFERENT THERE HAVE ANOTHER EQUATION WE HAVE NEED. [LENGTH ANY ITEMS= C.C LENGTH -(1/2 * NO.OF JUNCTIONS*WIDTH OF WHICH ITEM YOU NEED )] . THE NO.OF JUNCTIONS ARE CONSIDERED AS A " T" JUNCTIONS HOW MUCH HAVE.

    I think your centre line for earthworks is wrong , instead of focusing on 300mm wall you were supposed to extend both long and short walls by 0.9 (0.3 x 3 )2 from concrete footings , now the way you have done it is as if your excavation is 300mm wide so instead of 28.1m length I suggest you add (3x 0.3mm) twice on both long and short walls otherwise I concur with you entirely on the approach not necessary the answers.
